My name is jeremy and I love couch surfing! I’ve been hosting tons of people since August 2007 and it’s been just an amazing experience so far. It completely changed my life and the way I see things.
IMPORTANT
I love to receive people but unfortunately a certain amount of rules are needed. Please, if your looking for a couch in paris, read this section carefully
JUST URGENT REQUESTS: Do not request the couch more than 8 days before your arrival because I am unorganised and I sometimes go out for the week end and I don't really know these things in advance
Couch surfing is all about sharing. Spend good times with people, have fun. It's not free accomodation. So if you're planning just to crash on my couch on the night and be out all the time I think you shouldn't be coming to my place, as I think this is really rude. To make sure you have read this, I will ask you that when you send me a message/request to ask for the couch, include this magic sentence wherever you want in the mail: Viva mexico cabrones!
Latinos y españoles: hablo español perfectamente, entonces POR FAVOR, no manden sus mails en ingles.
I don't host for only one night
ABOUT ME
Ridiculous, crazy? me? Off course!
why so serious!!!!!!! :D
Born in Cameroun, I've lived 19 years in foreign countries and specially in latin america where I've spent 13 awesome years.I really love to meet foreign people and to get to know small bits of cultures, languages and traditions. I don't consider myself Parisian or French but citizen of the world :). I’m a very passionate person, and when I do something I like I always do it 300%. Here’s a little list of what I like to do:
juggling freak, circus addict. I love everything that is around stage performance. I’ve been juggling since 2002 and I loooove it.
I bike a lot in paris. I have two bikes and they are nearly my only way of transportation.
I loooooooove coffe
I'm a web designer and therefore a general art addict. You can check my website and deviantart if you want ;)
I recently discovered myself a real passion for photography. It’s been just 1 year I do some, but I really love it and don’t be surprised if I’m always taking out my camera for any situation. If you want to see what I do, here’s my photoblog
Internet, webdesign, colors, art, culture, movies, music, good meals, going out, smile, be crazy, be social, be laid back, meet people, talk, spanish, english, drink, smoke....
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN CS PROJECT
Hosting mostly
I've been hosting like hell since 3 years in the beautifull city of paris!!!!! An exaustive list would be far too long so here are some numbers:
Number of hostings: Around 900. Most countries received: U.S.A, Argentina, Australia, Canada. Most people hosted at once: 14 the sunday 30 of december 2007 Longest period I hosted one person: 2 month Busiest month: December 2007 -> 48 people hosted
PHILOSOPHY
Be happy!
The clock is running. Make the most of today. Time waits for no man. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present. Natural is my philosophy. I don't like sophisticated things. Be yourself and not what other would like you to be. Be open minded, try things. Make your own oppinion about things in life and not what other says. Be passionate about what you do and what you think!
MUSIC
Reggae Vibrations
All kinds of music ( reggae, dub, electonic, rock, latino, salsa, merengue, rap, riddim's, ragga, jazz, blues ). I love listening to music all the time and i especially enjoy RockSteady, Reggae, Ska all night long. King of kings, lord of lords conquering lion of the tribu ou Judah. JHA RASTAFARI. Of course we can make some music exanches since I got a huge lybrary of music!
MOVIES
Movies addict
Big movies fan. A complete list here would be waaaaaaaaaay too long here. But I watch movies ALL the time. Good ones, crapy ones, boring ones... Tarantino, david lynch, Cohen Brothers, Tim Burton, Takeshi Kitano, Scorcese, Kusturica, Paul Tomas Anderson..... Pulp Fiction, delicatessen, memento, city of lost children, cidade de deus, black cat white cat, spun, mulholand drive, the graduate, Up in the air, 500 days of summer, Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels ....
This summary is not a replacement for reading references; it's a quick summary to help you get started. At a glance, you can see how many references a member has, and how many of them are positive, neutral, and negative.
In the second line, you'll see how many references came from people who hosted this member, surfed with them, and traveled with them. These numbers won't always add up to the total: some references are not categorized, and some may be categorized as more than one thing.
When viewing this summary, don't jump to conclusions! Things that are negative for one person may be positive for another, and vice versa. It's important to read references carefully and evaluate what that information means to you.
Jeremy invited me to a party he organized at his home, I met his friends, we had interesting talk, he can easily tell you how achieve your goals if you only want, no matter how old are you ;) Hope to host you here, in Krakow, and good luck, hopefully in California, Jeremy!
Nice guy with wonderful photos in his apt and in his blog!!!

Jeremy was a very generous host who really showed us some generosity. He helped us out when we needed a place to stay and when he found out it was going to be my birthday he went out and bought a delicious breakfast and a birthday tart. He also introduced us to the couch surfing scene in Paris and we were able to meet fellow travelers and local Parisians. Thanks for showing us some loving! I'm missing your kitchen :)

Kevin and Jeremmi are some of the most calmer and relaxed guys that i have met in years, but also when they have free time they really now what to do where to go and how to party!

Jeremy is just a great king of couchsurfing! haha I had a great time in Paris also thanks to Jeremy help in hosting me. muchas gracias Jeremy! you're very gifted, friendly and easygoing. You rock! Silvano Jr
It was actually quite a while ago since I met Jeremy and since I'm sometimes the laziest person on earth it's only now that I manage to write the reference :) I will never forget the times I had in Paris with him. He really made it a home for a dreaming traveller like me.. His home was like an oasis of good vibes and caring and sharing. He also got me into doing diabolo tricks and now I'm on the road as a happy owner of such toy. I don't really miss Paris itself but the small universe created by him :)
