Yep, Aaron's a good man to have around whenever CS inventiveness is concerned. I envy his organistaional skills. That pub crawl way back when was legendary.
He could probably outdrink me quite easily as well, which we'll have to find out when CS Centurion finally eventuates.

Defintely the right man to have around when it's time to talk travel, tell tales and... drink.

Aaron is a really great guy, it's always a pleasure meeting him in one of the numerous Melbourne CS events. Aaron is one of those people who make me feel at home here in Melbourne.

such a great guy, always looking out for his friends and just likes to get people together for fun and laughs and good times. we met at a festival out in the bush of australia and i've seen in him his generosity and his good nature towards everyone so he's definitely someone cool to have around :)

Very niiice maaate! Aaron is fun person to have around. I really like his easy and laid-back attitude to life and his sense of humour. He plays the guitar very niiice too. One of the Melbourne cs gems and has the best dog bark ever.

 

Aaron is one of those people who is so into couchsurfing and I love that! Cause I am too! Organizing flash mob's is one of the coolest things I had ever heard of, and can't tell you how much I enjoyed the water pistol fight in Fed Square! Thanks again Aaron! I miss Melbourne heaps, and couchsurfing is a large reason why! :)

The short while I've known Aaron has been a pleasure. He's always up for a good time and comes across as very genuine without any bullsh*t (which I appreciate a lot!).

Aaron was such a positive person. He called to invite me along for a night of bowling while I stayed for a week in Melbourne. We ended up grabbing some dinner and even hitting up a couple bars. I had a great time with them and I'm so happy I got a chance to meet them.

you've been my first contact on CS, so I beg my pardon for not having written you earlier. You helped me out finding a place to stay the night, about one year and a half ago now. I had hitchhiked to DK to visit the EFC in Ebeltoft… well, now I’m there, studying filmmaking finally.

Well, better late than never. So, lots of thanks to you with a little delay, picking me up, inviting me to a coffee, searching on CS for a fellow surfer cause you had had an important tête-à-tête… and finally guiding me to the correct bus stop.

I just met Aaron once in a bar in Melbourne after the amazing freeze event in Flinders Station. We had drinks together with a whole bunch of people,
we chatted for a littlebit about this and that and he told me from his Europe trip. I think he is a very friendly and interesting dude with a very warm charisma and it was really nice to meet him.

Aaron always has crazy ideas that I join the Halloween and Freeze parties with him. He likes showing the warm smile and hugs to others that I'm so appreciate of that. It was my pleasure to meet him personally and had a good time with his lovely sister.

Aaron has hosted me for my first 4 days in Australia and I HAVE FELT LIKE AT HOME!!!

I keep coming across Aaron at various CS events in & around Melbourne. He's always great to have around - if he's not causing an outbreak of laughter, he's probably asleep. I appreciate this guy more and more and more.

Aaron is a relaxed sort of guy with an easy manner - and a sense of humour that comes into play when those around him need it most! Thankfully, Aaron has bucket loads of common sense to spare. But he is also a really good sort of CS guy who works hard to spread the good word in a wonderful sort of free wheeling way. I hope to help him in this, although last time this appears to have involve going to a Rasta night that somehow had evolved into Country and Western band...yeah. So can only be up from here on in then.

It was a pleasure meeting Aaron and learning a bit more about the man behind the profile. Aaron is highly committed and passionate about Couch Surfing which can easily be seen from his extensive profile. He is a perfect ambassador for the CS Spirit and i wish him well for his continued journey.

Every city needs an Aaron who returns home and within a week organizes one of the biggest CS gatherings I've been too. He's outgoing, cheeky and totally fun. Glad you threw that party, I had a great night and met some wonderful CSers :)

 

Had great fun together, especially at the Kloeden Camp. Always have to think about the Decorating-seee-workshop!!! LOL. And also in the watergame..., the rabbit-workshop and of course in "I never ever" he showed his superb sense of humour.

Did some hitchhiking, partying and staying at the same place in Berlin together. Great!!!

 

Quite simply, Aaron is an all-around quality person. He has much to offer the world, and he understand how much the world has to offer him. And he sings the high part to "Long Black Veil" beautifully.

well Aaron, hmm what to say. we met randomly in Budapest while staying at the same host and he dragged me to a FH, and then he decided to visit london and yet again another FH. this time around I hosted him in London and we had another great time.

Aron first impressed me by doing a beautiful Johnny Cash impression when drinking beers with him at a CS meeting. On the day after he held a 'free hugging - come together' despite his hangovers. What a way to go!

Aaron stayed at my apartment for a few nights, while working late shifts at a hotel nearby. Due to his work we didn't get to spend as much time together as I normally would with a CS'er staying with me, but he definitely left a good impression. It sounds cliché, but Aaron really is a warm character, who sends out extremely positive energy - I couldn't imagine anyone NOT getting along with him, so if he ever send you a CS-request, don't think twice about inviting him into your home.

Super Super friendly dude! We chilled and talked and had a good time story telling! -looking forward to the pillow-fight!

Aaron is friendly, talkative(try to speak with everybody despite of the massive couchsurfers) , and funny (loved his chick’s disguise -->so cute ),

aaron is a great human being, he inspired me to travel and while doing that get people together and be more in touch with couch surffing, great guy, hope to se him again in berlin next year.

 

I just wanted some advice about Australia when Aaron appeared and enthusiastically agreed to give me some tips.. he seemed quite an interesting guy, with some stories to tell and easy to enjoy with.
But... as fast as he entered to the room he made a big mess, leaving, throwing, dropping his stuff all over my furniture, clothes and floor.. and that was only the beginning of an unimaginable time..
Then, he started to include myself in his plans, and although he completely denied to tell me his history and I couldn't know anything about that creature, I accepted to join the confusing style dancer and his planned agenda, where every minute seemed to be calculated.
After this I started to have nightmares, and obviously he was in all them putting away his mask, showing me disgusting one or two wheels farts and running away leaving me alone when a killer mosquito had just bite us...
What more can I say? Stinky and pesado.. and above all, the most honest person I have ever met. Love you!

Aaron organized two free hugs meetings in Barcelona, both memorable!

Well what can you see about this couch surfing demon. Great guy to hang out and quote films with, but there's a lot more to him than that. Top quality bloke with a fantastically sculpted beard.

Aaron is a true ambassador of the CS spirit. When he organizes a meeting he makes the effort to talk to everyone, share his wisdom and ask others about their experiences. You gotta respect that.
However, there is something about him I like more… His wicked humor? Insanity? Yumminess? Can’t put my finger on it…

Aaron is crazy and funny! He organized a meeting in Ljubljana before a rave and it was nice. He loves to travel and meet people. If you host him you will have a nice time.

I experienced Aaron as an enthousiatic ambassabor for CS, sharing his experiences with others and full of plans to develop the CS community in his region. We organized free hugs campaign in Zagreb and had a really good time. I hosted Aaron for few days and I hope to see him again. I feel that all my words are smaller than to give him his right description. Meet him will be happy for being a member in this amazing site.

It was awesome to meet "Adam" at the Berlin Beach Camp 07. I like how he always appeared calm and patient, yet is still full of life.

"Adam" organized the Free Hugs (something I'm passionate about as well) and even held a Fire-twirling workshop. But not at the same time, of course!

Aaron is one of those people who immediately manage to sneak into your heart and won't go away that easy!;) Spending time with him is just never-ending fun, he has a thousand crazy ideas per minute and won't let you get bored. He's also a good friend, intelligent and respectful. So meet/host him whenever you get the chance!:)

Really loud guy, but you know in a good way. Out and easy-going, kind in his own special way!Great guest, great guy although I have to tell you if you have a big Bowie collection at home don't let him know, his a regular junky with him.

He is an extremely approachable person and kind of a man that you definitely do not forget. One of the most vivacious and adventurous guy I've ever met.

Aaron is a fun guy with many interests and a really exciting and adventurous life. He's a real soldier of fortune and can tell you stories and experiences that has lived through travelling.Keep on man!

 

The only negative thing I can write is that you havent stayed at my house for the entire summer. I wish we had more time together. I will miss you. Take care!

 

I spent one day with mr.Schultz in Århus at Uffe's place. He taught how to make great tuna pasta.

 

Born to be a traveller, unbelievable friendly man with a great humor. We shared 2 incredible weeks together in Bulgaria and Turkey, I guess there's no better travelpartner out there. Hitchhiking in the heat of Bulgaria, exploring family places in Istanbul and singing Wind of Change in a Karaoke bar are just some few unforgettable memories. Thanks for that dude, waiting for your visit up here in Twente!

We stayed together at Akos' place in Budapest, then travelled to Romania together, then randomly met up again in Peles Palace in Sinai Romania, Great experienced traveller, with lot's of stories!

Aaron is the kind of guy you feel like you've known him for ages instantly after meeting him. It's impossible not to love this guy!

 

Aaron is a stand up guy, who is well practiced in the art of conversation. We share a love of New Zealand folk comedy duos. It was a pleasure to host him. Safe travels Aaron.

It was a surprise for me when he starte to talk about istanbul as he knows almost everything. He is a travelling expert :) He is so kind, sweet and restless. He is the right person for free hugs with his positive energy spreading out. I hope we would meet again in somewhere else huging freely.

he's a really friendly nice guy whose also funny, he knows a lot too, if you can ever pick his brain he knows the best web sites!

 

Had an awesome time hanging out, chilling and partying. We had one or two glasses of wine as I forced him to walk round an exhibition and dance at a festival in spite of his sprained ankle. The fire twirling was impressive. Hope to meet up in Australia sometime and possibly make it a bit more fair trade :)

We met through my host in Cluj-Napoca, then met again in Brasov. He introduced 'Free-Hugs' to me and Jobi, and we did it in Brasov! One week later, we met in Varna and then Burgas, we had great fun on the beach in sozopol and sarafovo, thx for the seaweeds and black mud!

 

He is realy nice, open minded person, with singing talant, great sense of humor. We spend a realy good time together.

Met Aaron briefly in Vienna but had the chance afterwards to get to know him better in Romania. He is extremely funny, has always something interesting and clever to say, a great guy! Had a lot of fun with him, dancing on the beach, having sand fights and crowning him the king of the gipsy dancers! Hope to see you again, next time with a new pair of sun glasses ;)

I really enjoyed hosting Aaron - we had a lot of fun, with out any alcohol and I'm glad we did the free hugs meeting, i never thought it will be so much fun - thanks for that Aaron - for bringing your good mood and cheering me up!
Okay he was kinda ill at start bus that did stop us having fun - took him for a hike and we had a great time - he does like playing a little bit of computer games - hope you enjoyed playing HOMM V!

Aaron is a great person, brings lots of fun and good karma with him - happiness surrounds him and has a great humour - he smiles most of the time and he's a big fan of long sleeps - his power naps are pretty cool :yeah: - lol I tried waking him up for like 5mins and started to feel a bit ashamed of doing it lol.
But all in all - you will never regret hosting him - he's a great mate and you have lots of good things to learn from him!!!He always used to say that everybody thinks he is crazy in a good way - well i can tell you that he is a crazy aussie guy with a big heart and passion for living and having fun times like giving hugs to random people or just offer them a smile :)!

Went to the opera which I enjoyed immensely, and he helped organise for me to get pants so that I could get in (pfft to the no pants = no pavarotti policy!) Also socialised the previous night where he snaffled a free shirt, but I had a few drinks and don't remember too much else. Very easy going guy.

Great guy,... light of heart and round on experience. A great combination. Leaves Happy Trails I think.

I am happy to travel with aaron to Sinia and participate in the free hug campaign in brasov. It is always be fun when aaron is around you.:) Trust him that he really know how to bark like a dog. When he bark, i look around to find where dog is. :)))

Aaron did a great job organizing Free Hugs and game workshops in Berlin and we also had a good time when he came to Vienna. If you want to play charades, contact him - he knows how to do it. Very attentive and interesting guy with a lot to say, you certainly won't be bored with him.

Aaron is a great guy with whom I have a lot in common. We talked about our experiences nomadicising our way around the world. Will see him in parts unknown again for sure. He also let me have some vegemite which Isa wasnt happy about. :D

He came and hugged us all. And the taint will never leave :). We had great fun with Aaron, partying and just hanging out. It is very fun to talk with him, AND he knows his games and music quite well.

i exchanged a few emails with aaaron before camp so it was great to actually meet up with him and hang out a bit over the week.

I'd love to catch up with him again before he heads home.

Aaron is so openminded, and he really likes going out. Unfortunatelly, when we met, i was so tired, and i was in low spirits. Anyway i hope he had a good time here. Next time we will have bigger parties ;)

As I was reading Aarons post in the forum about an own FREE HUG CAMPAIGN of HC and CS I immediatly wanted to join. When we met for the action on 2nd of December in Berlin I found in Aaron a very ambitioned hugger. His positive energy and attitude is magic and he contributes his humanity to everybody who wants it. Aaron is a great guy, with a full spirit devoted to party and enjoying life. I met him just a couple of times but I will recomend him to any body.

 

Very funny and communicative person. We met at the Free Hugs Campaign which he organized in Munich. Aaron, in case you stay a bit longer and the weather is good we can maybe meet for a little teaching exchange: juggling vs. staff twirling. I would love to make some progress in staff. Unfortunately I currently don't have my fire equipment in Munich, only juggling balls, rings, clubs and diabolos.

Aaron not only has a great singing voice, he also has many interesting stories to tell. He showed me great overseas comedy which was almost as funny as himself :)
He was my first CS-experience: it was awesome!

Aaron is entertainer, traveller and philosopher together in one person. He's the kind of person you almost need to stay up all night and chat with. With his energetic and positive charisma he seems to be born to motivate people to get off their couches and do something productive. The perfect CS ambassador!

we were swimming in river spree when the sun was rising, played pantomime, played "i have never ever" (with some nice confessions), hugged everybody around us and had couple of beers together at late summer camp in klöden and beach camp berlin. good mood, mate! be welcome in bern!

Great Bloke. Haven't found anyone else more willing to swill from a 1.50EUR bottle of Macedonian red-wine in the park than Aaron. Very creative and interesting. We lived together in Berlin and formed a secret society - so secret that I will not tell you, reader, what it is.

Don't know what I could say that hasn't already been said by others, but the time we shared was some of the best I've ever had with a friend. Big ups!

Aaron is such a positive soul with a good sense of humour who is willing to give you a warm hug. :) He invited me for dinner and after that we went to a HC party which was great getting to know new people. He is a great cook, honest, open-minded and fun person to be with who I would be happy to meet again.

It was wonderful getting to know Aaron. He is funny, accepting, easygoing, open, honest, caring, and positive...the list could go on describing him. From going out in Berlin to doing nothing, Aaron was always great company. We always had a good laugh together and he gives great hugs!

On the 2nd of December i met Aaron at Berlin´s Alexanderplatz being accompanied by several 'free huggers'. An extremely friendly, positive connecting and talkative aura came with his person; a real hugging-personality who is able to smile at people without any wrong attitude or prejudice. it was a real pleasure to warm up the streets of Berlin, together with Aaron, and as you can tell from the two "a" in his name, he is automatically one of the most intensive huggers worldwide. just on TOP! - keep on spreading this energy, Aaron! cu @next hug.

When me and my travelbuddy met him there was an instant connection, which is understandable since this guy is one of the funniest, craziest, coolest and nicest guys i have ever met. Cant wait till he comes to Denmark to crash my couch. Missed doing the watergame, Marlon Brando imitations and the general fun of having him around.

Had a great few days we shared some food beer and a few hours watching hilarious movies on YouTube, search for talking cats...

About Aaron, the world citzen, or Gambah, as we brazos guys used to call him, he is a great guy, good photographer, good taste in music and clothes (we girls always loved the way he dressed - but he never knew about it, hehehe, friendly, always in a good mood, very clever, he knows a little bit of everything and very, very kind... I dont remember anytime I had an argument or if I was upset with him... and we used to live at the same house quite a long time... well, just good and positive memories and for sure someone I would trust 100%. I like him a lot...

Oh yeah this guy is amazing. He was the first ausie I met and now I have really good imagination of Oz! Aaron is really good person that wants to change the world at least a bit (keep on goin' man!).
