Couch Information
Couch Available: Maybe Preferred Gender: Any Max Surfers Per Night: 2
Shared Sleeping Surface: No Shared Room: NoFoldout futon, fits 2. Its in a living room, but not alot of people come into that room, so its not private, but relatively quiet. The couch is a futon on the floor in a living room. The room is not private, but theres not many people who go in that room, so its kind of private.
We live in a big compound-type place--hard to describe--but we have 14 roomates, so theres usually someone around to have a conversation or drink.
We live in North, North Oakland--2 blocks from the border with Berkeley. Its 6 minutes walk to the Ashby BART stop, and there are some good bus lines nearby. A few bars and restaurants very close by, and walking distance to downtown Berkeley. Overall, we live in a very good neighborhood for most things.
Jessica works 5 days a week until the early afternoon. Andrew works 2 or 3 days a week and then has an ever-changing schedule the rest of the time. If we arent busy, we can hang out or go do something for sure!
No pets allowed here.
In general, 3 days would be the maximum. We go to bed around midnight or 1am. Friends (42)

What do these numbers mean?
This summary is not a replacement for reading references; it's a quick summary to help you get started. At a glance, you can see how many references a member has, and how many of them are positive, neutral, and negative.
In the second line, you'll see how many references came from people who hosted this member, surfed with them, and traveled with them. These numbers won't always add up to the total: some references are not categorized, and some may be categorized as more than one thing.
When viewing this summary, don't jump to conclusions! Things that are negative for one person may be positive for another, and vice versa. It's important to read references carefully and evaluate what that information means to you. References (47)45Positive 2Neutral 0Negative

From Alicia Stockard Duluth, United States Aug 20, 2009 Positive Before I head out on my next adventure, I found it impossible not to leave a note of gratitude and a kick butt thanks to Andrew and Jessica. Beautiful people who love life, travel, and the art of banter. Thank you for staying and being lovely guests. Last but not least, my children thought it was so neat to have guests that interacted with them and they thought Andrew was really funny. Hope to see you in the future, happpy trails to you both. Oh, and now I know I can survive a 3 hour run after staying up late, you guys are great, yippppeeee!
From Mischa Fleishman Minneapolis, United States Aug 10, 2009 Positive Andrew is one hell of a guy - he's a pretty wicked frisbee player as well.
From Josh Casper Portland, United States Nov 28, 2008 Positive Andrew walked in with a box of tasty pastries and a loaf of cuban bread, and I thought it was the coolest thing ever.
He makes ya feel pretty comfortable, though I'd never met nor talked to him beforehand. He brings some good conversation and stories and bought us some beer the night before he left. Cool guy. Good times.
Peace
