ABOUT ME

I'm currently working as a cartographer for an ecotourism company in Punta Arenas, Chile. Our annual event, the Patagonian Expedition Race, takes international teams 10 days of trekking, biking, and sea-kayaking to complete. This year it starts February 14! I'm taking advantage of my time here to meet as many people as possible and to visit beautiful places.

PHILOSOPHY

We travel, initially, to lose ourselves; and we travel, next, to find ourselves. We travel to open our hearts and eyes and learn more about the world than our newspapers will accommodate. We travel to bring what little we can, in our ignorance and knowledge, to those parts of the globe whose riches are differently dispersed. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch-surfed for the first time a year ago during a cross-country bike ride with two friends. We were always looking to meet new people and find free places to camp, and couch-surfing allowed us to accomplish both goals.
