Hello! Loki is the current home of some artists and musicians from The Fuhrl Artist's Collective in Philadelphia. We are taking her on the road in 2012, and hope to invite any travelers who need transportation around the country on board

ABOUT ME

Greetings,
We are adventurers aboard Loki the Space Bus. We are a welcoming/healing/empowering mobile sanctuary that is all inclusive. Our community is fueled by active collaborative creation. The bus is space to leave behind preconceived notions of self and reality. It is a space where you can be yourself and grow into who you want to be. Everyone is a student and everyone is a teacher. We seek to cultivate a reality that’s based on direct experience and interaction. We seek to build relationships with individuals and communities in order to enrich/strengthen/

When the bus crew does hit the road, we will invite, on a rotating basis, fresh faces to join us for a week or two at a time on our trip. The only requirement of rideshares, beyond sharing the chores and road expenses, is that they are prepared to participate in the collaborative environment this bus is meant to foster. We will share our stories and learn from each other's experiences. We will make music together, write, or create visual works throughout this trip. And, ideally, all that we create will have a life beyond our little bus crew, whether we share it through a zine we make from the road, display it electronically, put it up for sale on Etsy, or curate a show of it at the culmination of our trip. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We can give you transportation, community, and collaboration opportunities. Or an adventure for the sake of it, just email us at lokithespacebus@gmail.com or find Lokithespacebus on facebook, and we can arrange for you to spend a few days to a couple of weeks with us as we ramble around this country! All we ask is some help with gas money and basic participation in our community. We want to jam with you, musically, visually, with words, or in the on-bus kitchen or around a campfire! We're a spontaneous bunch, so you should like adventure and not need too much in the way of firm plans.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We saw, in the past year, many creative people come together around art and music to form a large and growing collaborative community here in our hometown of Philadelphia. Now that we know it is possible to get that snowball rolling with such minimal effort, we want to try to start a few more elsewhere.
