We went to a wonderful bbq Maida set up and she was kind enough to let us have a couch on late notice. She was pretty busy, so it's unfortunate we didn't have too much time to spend together, but she seems like a wonderful person and her flatmate is great too. We also met some wonderful friends of hers at the bbq, ao it was just a great experience connecting!

Maida was my first surfer and she was very easy to host :) We spent a whole evening in front of the computer listening to music on myspace :)
I had a really good time with Maida and will for sure try to meet her and maybe do some "linewalking" in the park if my travels lead to Oslo.

I couchsurfed with Maida but not through couchsurfing! We met in Norway through a friend of a friend, having met before when she was in Australia and visited our mutual friend (Maida, please tell me if I have the month wrong - oops, I don´t remember when you were there :( ). Anyway, she hosted me at her place in Oslo for a night, as well as driving me there from Kristiansand in the first place! It was certainly nice not to have to catch the train, and was also excellent to have a couple of suggestions as to what to go and see from both Maida and her room-mate. They live near a very lovely park, too :)
