We met Marco by Silvia and the evening was magic. Marco has a lot of humor and laughter about its snails and slugs which likes the humidity of his garden. The brown slug know the free fall now...

We met Marco and Silvia in Varese, and spend a night in his cosy house. What can i say, very pleasant guys :)

Marco was very gracious by letting myself and one other surfer stay with him very last minute. He showed us around Varese and took us out for the evening for some laughs. I didn't have much of a chance to get to know Marco as well as I would have liked, so hopefully I will be able to surf his home again in the future :)

 

yes, Marco and Silvia are wonderful persons! i stay to marco only one night but after 10 minutes we meet it seems like we were longlasting friends. very kindly, really easygoing person. they success to show me in an evening the best of around Varese. i think that everybody have to know peolple like Marco and Silvia!

 

I met Marco few times, long time ago but we never really had a meaningful interaction until I requested to surf his couch.
He showed me so many things in his surrounding in a really ahort time and, to make me happy, he even got out of the car in spite of the tiger mosquitoes :)
I discovered an extremely kind person with a fine sense of humor.
Welcoming and dedicated host, I thank him greatly, especially for the lift to the airport at an horribly early hour.

Marco, one of the most famous surfer in Italy! I met him in a several meetings in Milan. Always ready to make jokes, have fun and share his time with everbody. Kind, calm and polite. I really hope see him soon!

It was a pleasure for my friend Marie and me to be hosted by Marco.He picked us up at the airport even if it was late in the evening, managed in a very very short time to show us a little part of the beautiful area of Varese, made us taste good pizzas and ice-creams... Marco and Mimmo were so kind with us since the first moment we met, at the BBQ in Zurich! Beside of the fact that we all were destroyed from the Parade, we spent a very lovely and quiet Sunday at a lake close to Zurich downtown... swimming, chatting and doing the BBQ! We immediatey recognized eachother, since we were the only 4 un-organized italian people, in the middle of a well oranized swiss crew!! Eh,eh! :) Good choice for the ITALIAN DRESSING you bought with the salad! :) Hope I'll met Marco and Mimmo soon, to keep on laughing with them again!

I met Marco and his friend Mimmo in Zurich during the Street Parade week-end.We spent a beautiful sunday together at the lake doing barbecue and swimming!Thanks again for the steak:italian solidarity!!! :)

 

Marco is a great host who had no problem putting up with two chaotic girls from Germany resp. Belgium. So my map wasn't accurate, it was raining horribly and there was no red train station. In the end there was yummy food and that was all that mattered. We could borrow his tomtom so we didn't get lost again. Thanks again!!! Next time you go north of the Alps, make sure you stop here.

It was great to see Marco again at the CS Paella 08 after almost a year. Hopefully we'll meet again soon and get to know each other better. Really nice and fun person to hang out with!

I met Marco through my then host Mau. We has a great time chatting and getting to know each other (including an amazing head massage) I felt very relaxed and comfortable with him and I look forward to seeing more of him when we return to Milano!
Added- We spent loads more time with Marco. He is a great host! He went out of his way to pick us up and drop us off (at 5 in the morning!!!!) at the airport. So glad I got to meet him!

I've met him first at the CS party of the design fair in Milan, where we had a great time, as he's a very funny and friendly guy, then again at a CS meeting.. where I could barely identify him (well.. sorry. my fault!) but after this gaffe I had the chance to confirm my first impression :-)

Marco is a really nice person who is definately a really good host. He took good care of us and did a big effort to make everything as comfortable and easy for us as possible. Too bad we couldn't stay for any longer!

marco has the most wonderful mascella i've ever seen...
he has been so kind with me, he saved my sad sad lonely weekend! he heard my request of help and suddenly arrived on his bat-car with his friend robin, wearing a grey bodysuit... we laughed so much, it seemed it was not the first time we met. i think he can become my new taxi driver if he wants to leave his job. i' ll repay him with a lot of ties!

Well...true...we didn't talk much but he looks really great and even such a good photographer!!! =)

I hosted Marco and his friend Amelie for 1 night. We spend a funny and interesting evening together.

We met in Geneva and didn’t spend much time talking but enough for me to see that he is a very kind and caring person was a very pleasant encounter.

we met during the bremen invasion and even though he didnt surf my couch i truly enjoyed meeting him at our get together. he appeared to me as a very friendly,trustworthy and outgoing person:)

Marco got to stay for 2 days in Bremen at my place. He is a great, fun and easy going person. I am sorry that it was really bad timing for me because of studies and I did not spent much time with the group. he still thinks that my Italian is good which personally i think not.

I have hosted a lot of people. I have knew a lot of people from all around the world. With all of them i exchanged some common interest, some trips, some meetings, some nice moments and some not so nice (that's life).
In the same time i have frequented some milano's members and a lot of time i met Marco with whom i shared trips, some funny time, some serious one, and so on.
I am very PROUD to have Marco as a REAL and DEEP friend of mine.

Marco is a great host. Unfortunately it was the last night of our trip so we couldn't spend more time with him. He prepared us a delicious diner (risotto di zucca) and had a very comfortable couch and even rescued our disc :-) I hope we can host you soon in Barcelona!
