One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have a few stories but I'll tell you this one: I once climbed a dangerously high crumbling rock wall in a stone quarry with no real climbing experience and no equipment. To make matters worse, there was no one around to help me if I somehow fell and survived the vertical drop to the jagged rocks below. Lucky for me I made it all the way to the top and after walking through the deep forest that awaited me up there I accidentally stumbled upon what was literally the oldest veterans memorial in the United States. It was called nine men's misery and it was was constructed in 1676.
