HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

CS is one thing that everyone has to embrace at least once in their life, although I enjoy it a lot and promote it among my friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to CS, was hosted twice in Mexico and it was great. I hosted 6 people so far from Poland, Austria and Argentina.

Interests

badminton, photography, Travelling, Reading, History, Movies, cooking. I am interested in cultural tourism, social innovation and social entrepreneurship, startups, urban gardening, tactical urbanism.

I am crazy about badminton, play it regularly whenever I can.
from September 2020 till September 2022 I work in Skopje, N. Macedonia within an EU project.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Enjoyed ice cold watermelons in Samarkand market, Lithuanian Hill of Crosses, Peter Gabriel's concert in Mexico City, eating grasshoppers in Oaxaca, swimming in the Baltic Sea in January, hitchhiking from Brussels to Vilnius in 1995, having a cocktail on the top of Hankock Tower in Chicago, meeting strangers along the way and sharing time and ideas, climbing all the mountains in N. Macedonia etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

For the last 15 years I worked as EU project preparation and management consultant for local municipalities and private companies in Lithuania in the areas of local economic development, tourism infrastructure, social service infrastructure and SME development. I worked a the Ministry of Economy for almost 3 years as well, in 2018-19 I've worked as a humanitarian relief officer in Eastern Ukraine with the Dutch NGO.
in 2020 September I started my 2 year contract in Skopje, N Macedonia as a social entrepreneurship consultant within the EU funded project.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can also help you with English, Russian, Polish or Lithuanian languages, I am good at cooking.
