About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Dream as if I'll live forever. Live as if I'll die today.

ABOUT ME

I'm Quebecoise and proud to be, and I am literally in love with Life. One could say I am a life addict. I take advantage of every single experience that life puts on my way, absorbing the good, and flushing the bad. I live from adventures and experiences of all kind, and I always try to see the good side of every situation. I am also extrovert on surface, but pretty introvert about the true things that get through my heart.

One of my favorite quote is in Latin and says: "Carpe diem quam minimum credula postero." Be curious, search the meaning and start your couch request with the translation, this way I know you're not an asshole.

This quote rules my life at every moment, and when I take something too seriously, I refer myself to it. I sometimes refer to it too much too, like that time I booked a flight 12-hour prior to chicago ^_^

BUT, even if I can seem composed and calm, I have to say that a big part of myself is totally uncontrolable and immeasurably sarcastic. I am also a very shy person, even though nobody believes it. (frustrating)

Otherwise, I like to clean and wipe the dishes, I'm omnivorous and bring with me my own sleeping bag, AND, I always smile! What do you need else as a guest?

PHILOSOPHY

- Take advantage of what life reserves me
- Become what you really are, not what you want to try to be
- Grow by your knowledge enrichment
- Have trust in the destiny, and don't believe at random
- Laugh is the best of all medicines.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host more than I surf, although I can't wait to have more occasions to be hosted! I enjoy to show a bit of Montreal's way of living to my surfers. I also like to meet with locals in cities I visit.

Oh and if I can't host you, most likely because I'll be already out somewhere, be sure to as Julia, my lovely flatmate who is also a wonderful host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted here in Montreal, as well as in Beijing. I love it, I hope that one day, with my future family, I'll keep involved in CS :) I also meet Csurfers for a tea, wine or city tours

Interests

I am helpful, creative, enthusiast and expressive. I love design (architecture, industrial design, interior design, graphic design, web design), geeks, cinema (I have a weakness for Italian neorealism), literature, animated discussions, hiking, running, cycling, speleology, camping, all sorts of outdoor activities.

//////////////////////////

I prefer wine to beer

tea to coffee (quite addicted to tea)

yellow than orange, blue than green, purple than pink, but pink more than green. Yellow is my favorite color, equal with black...
