Marco thankfully replied to my SOS Rome request, he is a fun and hospitable guy, opens his home and welcomes you and orientates you to his beautiful town, I spent a relaxing day at the beach on a sunny winter's day not far from his spacious apartmen. Terracina is a lovely town and Marco is a great CS host. Many Thanks.

Marco was a really wonderful person with me and my friend Pedro, we were on travel on bike from Spain to Italy, she help to us left to stay at home in the beautiful city of Terracina. Is a incredible nice guy, intelligent and good person. I hope to return to see him in Spain. I am very grateful, Merci grazie mille! bisous

Unfortunately I visited Marco with my friend only for one night and we did not have a chance to know each other better. But i can say that he is a very nice, positive and kind guy, whom can i trust even not knowing for a long period. You see that man and know that the stay in his place will be really pleasant :) Terracina is very nice. We were delighted in old town - the view over sea and whole city is so incredible!

Marco was an incredible host! He offered to host us with such late notice. He cooked us a wonderful pasta meal and came out with us for the most amazing gelato we've ever tasted!

It was only one night, but our stay with Marco was great! He's a great host an amazingly kind and warm man. You are welcome on our couch anytime you are in Canada, Marco!

My first reference about the person who made my frist couchsurfing experience a positve one. Marco is a good guy - very helpful, kind and talkative. He picked me up from the train station, let me use his city maps, and told me about the cs meeting in Vienna he attended. Wish i could have stayed a little longer :)

 

Thanks a lot – not only for offering me a place to sleep for nearly one week but also for taking me along to a concert on the beach, to your friends’ dinner,… and last but not least for bringing me to the doctor in the evening when you surely could imagine more pleasant activities than waiting hours in an ugly hospital.

 

Marco is generous and kind. My friend and I had so much fun in Terracina! Special thanks to Marco! I had the best pizza of my life. I loved the beach party, the music, sleeping in the hammock, and seeing an incredible view of the city! Marco made us feel welcome.

Marco who save my trip in Italy is great person!! he care of me a lot and made me can feel comfortable~ thank you!! even he suggested for staying when i didn't have any host, and I had fun and relax time there.
His town is small but perfect. the ice cream place and beach and historical part.. I miss there and him a lot.
if you are thinking about staying his house or hosting him, I'm sure you never regret staying with him!!

Marco answered my last minute request and off I went to Terracina, a 100 km from Rome. I’m glad that I had the opportunity to see it, and I had a nice relaxing day at the beach and seeing the different sites. Marco is a very nice person and he sure knows his city! He took me to an ice cream place, where I had the best ice cream of my life :) I had a good time with him and his friends.

MArco is such a good guy.He makes me discover Terracina with a warm welcome. We spend an awesome ferragosto on the beach! Thank you for those unforgettables memories and for your kind hospitality.Cheers!

I really enjoyed my stay with Marco! As a first host, he was great and very nice! He brought us to the top of the hill to see the city, made us pasta, brought us to eat a meter of pizza, it was great! I can't forget to mention the bomba!

Marco was a great first host for me! It was the first time that I surfed at all and Marco was the perfect person to start with. He came to get me at the train station, showed me around, etc. He even introduced me to the local cuisine... (bomba!!)

Marco was so good to take me in at the last minute! He was a really cool host. We chatted, he cooked a really good pasta, and took me up to see a view of the city at night. Marco is a super kind person. And he lives in the nicest part of Italy. He showed me around Terracina and bought me to the best pizzeria I’ve ever been to. We had a really good time together we went to a couple of beach concerts. And last but not least if you have a sweet tooth try saying “Bomba” and see what happens. Thank you for hosting me. Marco saved me from the horrible fate of sleeping in a hostel!!! My host had fallen thru and he quickly responded to my emergency request! It was also worth the train ride from rome to see Terracina, what a beautiful city!

Marco was a great host! He took me out for bomba, showed me around old Terracina and introduced me to a delicious pasta recipe with tuna flakes, for which I was so hungry I ate two plates in like two minutes, hahaha. He's so friendly, good-natured and generous, and Terracina is a beautiful little place. My host in Rome recommended that I visit, and I'm glad that I did. Tante grazie for everything, Marco!

Marco is kind and open person, we had some obligatory long walks to CS base and back to our host place, tiering, but memorable experience :)
I do sleep with him every night - he is on my pijamy-t-shirt :P

Marco is a very nice and helpful guy!! When we made an afterparty in his bedroom(=kitchen;)he didnt have anything against,he just joined us!:)

 

I met Marco during the Vienna Calling 2009 and we had a very nice discussion concerning Rome's Couchsurfing community. He gave me the good idea to plan a trip not to Rome but around it which is usually unusual but looks pretty fantastic idea. I felt that Marco is a very helpful host and I became sure of it when he offered to help a friend of mine. See you soon Fratello.

Marco replied to our very last minute Couch Request and hosted me and my friend in Terracina for 3 unforgettable days. We felt like at home from the very first moment. Marco showed us his wonderful town and even went with us to Rome (he was exhausted after that, sorry :)) Thanks for everything (and showing us real Italian breakfast). Hope to see you in Vilnius

He gives you a heaps of reasons to visit him and his region again: his great, I mean really a great generosity as a host,his family who treats you as you are part of it, his guided tours to the sea, mountains, old town, national park..-after one day I was more than impressed, it was more than I could ever dear to dream about: I really felt myself reaching to the local people and the enriching nature.
Although he doesn´t seem very italian in stereotypical sense (no cafe, wine nor pasta are in the list of preference:)-"hey, you have a healthy lifestyle,man!"says the northerner:), he offers you a true experience of Italy!

 

Marco is a very sweet gentleman who introduced me to his mother, father, and brother in the first few hours I met him. He did everything possible to make me feel welcome and accommodate me while I was a guest in his home. He exemplifies what CS stands for and all the traditional values of sharing and kindness. I hope to continue a lasting friendship with Marco.

Hey Marco! You are wonderful! It was so nice to meet you..hope to see you again in Italy or somewhere else...you are a beautiful and happy spirit!

One day in Assisi and, after one month, surfed for 12 days his enormous couch in Terracina, as big as his heart! He's very nice, helpful and is always in the mood for a party and he cooks delicious dishes. Fantastic days at Terracina with his friends, going to reggae concerts, eating delicious bombolones and his mama’s unbeatable gnocchi! Nice place , beautiful people, good energy! Grazie mille Marco for all the help and the warm hospitality! Only the brazilian party at the beach is missing now, we’ll do that next summer! ;)

 

Spent my last vacation days at Marco's place after 4 days Rome. Saw 4 weddings, a baptism and a falling star, Terracina isn't a very special place but it must have meant something :). Marco took me to a crazy party of a graduated friend where I drunk red sparkling wine for the 1ste time in my life and to a concert of a reggae band from one of his friends. And the highlight of Terracina: eating Bomba's with chocolate filling in the middle of the night!

Ok, he is sunny person, who do a lot for you only because he likes to help people:) but, dont forget to collect the...of yoyr bog from the street if you will visit his place:)Mil bjn

Marco kindly hosted us for several days. I enjoyed his company and the time stayed in Terracina a lot, the walks at night, le bombe, everything. I'm sure we'll meet in the next meetings, and remember you're always welcome to Helsinki! Grazie Marco, a prossima!

What a character of the summer camp.
he was helping a lot offering hes car going back and forward too many times bringing and taking people to and from the city to the camp sites also transporting almost everybody´s backpacks. he also offered the ride to the supermarket to bring alcohol to the camp.
Now, taking his car out of the scene, Marco was a great company around the fire, on hiking or playing volleyball.
My couch will always have a place for Marco...

We were a group of six in his apartment at once... Marco has a great heart, he´s a gentle and kind guy, and takes very good care of his guests. He made me feel very welcome. Thank you Marco!!

i met him at the cs rome summercamp. soon after the meeting he accepted me instantaneously as a guest in his home in terracina, even when there were already six other couchsurfers going to there! yes, he has such a huge appartment, you can imagine. it's true, but bigger than that is his heart! thank you, marco, for the wonderful moments that we lived together (specially the one which mitigated my saudades do brasil!), i will never forget them and i hope to see you soon here in tuscany, or andaluzia or some rainbow gathering. grazie mille, fratello, grazie di cuore!

What a great, great guy! You can ALWAYS count on him. Will help u in any situation, sometimes I wish he could say "no", but I don't think he can refuse to help anyone. Very posistive person who has a smile on his face non stop :) Lovely, kind heart. Can't wait to meet again.

Marco is a great guy !
He spent five nights with us for the summercamp. He is fun and easy-going and everyone liked him. The last night we all slept on the roof and it was so beautiful. One thing though he snores like trumpet that went crazy.
I hope I can get to visit him in his beautiful town and hope to see him again for next year for the 2009 summercamp or everytime he wants to visit us. We live so close.

It was really nice to meet Marco at CS camp!! He was so kind to help us a lot and give us a ride to a beautiful meadow lost in the hills of Italy where we joined CSers trying to survive;))

marco is a greeeeat guy! he is really reliable person who is always prepared to help and do whatever is in his power to make a person feel good! he picked us on the station and drove us around pescosolido cause we didnt feel like walking :) im really thankful for all the you help and im really glad to meet you. see you next year in the camp (if not sooner)!

I met Marco in Terracina when I was on a cyclingtour through la bella Italia.
Marco showed me arround the old romain part of terracina, actually a really nice town. we went out for a delicious dinner. Marco is a very interessing and openminded person, hope top see him in switzerland.

It's a long time that we don't see each other but we were used to be quite close friend...lots of beautiful school's and fotball matches' memories.
