We thoroughly enjoyed having Danny and Flo with us and obviously the feeling was mutual as we asked them to stay on and they agreed without hesitation :-) Great to have around, shared great food, humour, experiences, and friends. Hope they come back and or we meet up again somewhere.

 

Danny was really helpful with tips on Akl CS and then her & Flo were not only good enough to offer every CS'er their belongings they couldn't take travelling, but it was Danny's birthday(on which she also had to work) and we went out for coffee & cake. Thanks guys, you are good people and a credit to CS :-)

 

Met Danny on the day that she was packing up to go on her road trip around New Zealand. Had coffee with her to celebrate her birthday. Danny is a calm, friendly and very engaging person. She is a very likeable person who works extremely hard. Danny and Flo surfed with me before they left for Australia. Danny is a very humorous person, a real easy-going and relaxed nature with a great sense of humour. Had many conversations until the wee hours in the morning and watched the extended version of the LOTR (all 3 episodes!). Hope to catch up again one day.

It was great to stay with danny and flo, they are very friendly and helpfull. Hope to meet them again, maybe back home in germany or in oz!?

I stayed with Danny and her partner Flo for 6 days in Auckland. It was meant to be 2 until we decided to go road tripping together which was a lot of fun. It was apleasure to spend time with Danny and Flo and I hope to see them again at some point!

Danny and FLo are excelent host. Very kind, polite, and they helped me a lot in my first days in NZ.

I hope to see this guys again.

I had a great experience with Danny and Flo. You both helped me out so much during my first days.

Danny is awesome! She and her partner Flo came to stay with me over the WRC Rally. Danny is a Couch Surfing expert, and it's very obvious that shes not in it to just sleep on your couch. She in it to experience your culture and life. I love couch surfers like that. As my good friend Will Ferrel would say "If you don't like this girl I will fight you, that is no lie" CHEERS!

Danny was an excellent host. Im glad she didnt have to work the days I went to get to know each other. She is very helpful and knows a lot about couch surfing! Thanks for the hospitality and all the tips. Take care and viel gluck in Australia!

It was great to meet Flo and Danny. I surfed their couch for 4 nights in Auckland. They're very kind, respectful and sophisticated, fun- people. I liked that they were very outgoing. We walked around Takapuna Beach in a downpour :) I'm very pleased to have met these two and I hope they keep in touch!

I'm happy to found her as an true-hearted, active and fun producing friend with an awesome balance between seriousness and well placed nonsense - 1000 characters are far too less to describe short term long term hosting, time jumps, mighty mouse, anti-sleepy calls from 3m distance, vespin gas and strategy monitoring, breakfasts/launches/dinners, sms night care and a departure checklist :-)
Just a _huge_ thanks for everything and the way you are! 7 awesome days and I'm sure: more will follow!

This couple were very fun. They made themselves at home and were immediately relaxed. They cooked a couple of amazing meals and were considerate. I was in my exams and they were very understanding of that.

 

helpfully wrote a series of instructive notes for everything in my house so i can now find my way around and operate everything without thinking

They spent 4 days in my place, we tried some local Chinese dim-sums & meal at revolving restaurant. Glad that they enjoyed it. One day I took them into the nature of Hong Kong, which I bet they won't be able to discover by themselves -- an eye-opener for them. CU in New Zealand & have a nice time there.

Danny and Flo stayed two nights at home. I can't spend too much time with their but we shared two dinners. We had nice chats. It was a short (but really good) time. I hope someday meet us again!!

 

Danny contacted me now she is back in Berlin for a while. We had the chance to get to know each other on a CS brunch. I enjoyed chatting with her and to learn details about Australia and the CS organization there. Danny indeed is an experiend Couchsurfer. See you another occasion.

 

In the world of crazy german elves, Danny is their queen. But watch out for the robotic dinosaurs, they can keep her at bay for a short time only...at least until she masters the radio controlled helicopter perhaps...Great conversations, great laughs and a pleasure to frood around with..hope you liked the fireworks I arranged and I hope your rosemary addiction doesn't take control too often ;) Well, you can always come and have another fix when you're back here next year...

I want to say that Danny is like every other German girl that I met; beautiful, smart, well traveled and funny...but theres just something more to this girl...not sure I can put my finger on it but its always good vibes around her and the more I run into her the more good vibes I get :)

We met for coffee and then saw a movie. The movie was cheesy in my opinion, but it was still a good night. Then we had drinks in a dark alley with my CSing host and had another great night. Hope to hang out more before I leave Melbourne and maybe meet again in our travels.

Danny came to stay with us for one night and thankfully stayed for three. It was an absolute pleasure having her stay with us and only wished it could have been longer. Danny's consideration of others, her openness and honesty coupled with a great sense of humour should be warmly welcomed by all couchsurfers. We hope that you will be able to make a return visit to us some day and have another pie floater!!

 

We met through CS, became friends, travelled together, fell in love. Now we travel life together.
She is the most amazing, wonderful, lovely and trustworthy person I've ever met.

Danny is clever and witty, a great conversationalist, and brilliant at keeping her inner child alive and well. She's a delightful person to pass the time with. And she kindly shares her stash of chocolate. :)

 

Danny is awsome! we get along so well. shes has the greatest sence of humor and shes so easy to talk to, and danny has defenatly been there when ive needed a friend to trust.

She's great. Quirky. Intelligent. Mysterious. Danny is always there for me, she cares about me, smses me or calls me to check on me. She is a big kid, with a wonderful mind. She won't be impressed by anything other than genuine people, which is another reason why we get along so well. We are good friends and I strongly trust her, I believe she adds to my happiness. I was really looking forward to meeting Danny and she's cooler than I thought!! We had a great time chatting and laughing and talking nurse talk.

 

Danny is unlike anyone I have met. She is so full of laughter and life, it is infectious. Honestly, it is hard to be in a sour mood in the presence of this woman. After surviving through such obstacles together as the chimpanzee woman, the impossible-to-find-a-park scenario and the attack of the overlarge santa hat, I can say with great conviction that Danny is someone everyone should meet. Don't let her height fool you, she is a child at heart. You rock Danny.

 

I had a great time with Danny in Melbourne and the others surfers and host while my firsts days in Melbourne. Now I am back in Melbourne and for sure we are gonna spend some times together!

 

Danny was a lovely guest and her easy and warm manner made having her a pleasure.

 

I got to know that girl as someone who is keen for everything. Just ask her and she'll probably want to meet you. She helped me participating in bike ride through Melbourne when she lent me a bicycle of a mate of hers. It was very nice to hang with her, too.

Danny is very friendly, outgoing and very easy to get along with.

I have a feeling of knowing her for ages, and even if she's globetrotting for the last months, I can't think of my beloved Berlin without her. Danny, enjoy life and people wherever you adventures take you!

Danny was my 1st CS & she hit it off with my family and friends, we just got along and we didnt mind at all when she wanted to stay on, she came at a difficult time during our coup but she took on the experience as part and parcel of Fiji living. She made this christmas calendar, where we pick gifts each day, baked her famous apple pie, helped make dessert for a wedding, helped making juice after Sunday church service, supported us during our christmas drama, and the kids just adore her.....I enjoy hosting Danny and anyone would because she has a free and beautifull spirit. Id take her on anytime and anyone who is a friend of Dannys is a friend of mine....Danny is part of our kaiviti family!

 

We hosted Danny and three of her friends at our place for a night. They had some funny stories to share and we were glad to help host them during their friends' crazy honeymoon roadtrip.

 

Danny needed a place to crash. Her best friend was getting married in Hawaii and while the wedding party reserved a hotel room in Waikiki, Danny prefered to couchsurf (like all of us) and she chose me! I wish I had got to spend more time with her, but nevertheless she was a fantanstic guest and I would host her again in an instant.
Hopefully by the time I can travel to Germany she will be done with her round the world trip and can host me in Berlin!

 

Dany and her friend Dennis stayed with me for 2 days because their best friends were getting married in Hawaii. Pleasant, good conversations, and great guests.

I wish Danny and I had had more time to spend together but I had a great time at the bar we went to. I <3 Germans!

Danny is a really lovely person! Even though she was about to move out of her apartment, she still hosted me, and although we didn't hang out much during the day, I certainly think of her as a friend! Thanks so much!!!

So my fellow friends you can imagine myself being rescued and transfered in her wonderfully decorated flat in Berlin. Colors, music, perfumes and here you go...Danny is simply wonderful.

Danny was one of the happiest hosts i had, and she has a great sense of Humor. She had long working shifts when i was in berlin, so we could not spend so much time together. We did have the chance to have a beer one night, and that gave me the chance of seeing a completally different type of bar (at least for me).
She is very easy going, always in a good mood and ready to help me

A Berlin paradise!! What an amazing place to stay in Berlin! Danny's apartment is like a paradise oasis within the heart of Berlin! She was a great host and very informative about sites and areas around the city. We would recommend anyone stay with her if they get the chance!

 

Danny is a hard working girl, but she knows how to have fun. We spent a brief night in Hamburg and then the World Cup Final match in berlin (We won :-P) and she was so cute to have us staying at her MARVELLOUS place near Postdamer platz...

 

Berlin and Guatemala :-). I was so lucky that she was able to host me in Belin, thanks to her I had a memorable and wonderful time in her city... and she is amazing, a few months later I met her again, now in my homeland :D Hope she had a great time in Guatemala as I did in Germany... and we will meet again!!! ESO ES SEGURO!

Maybe next time? Danny very kindly offered me her couch at short notice. She made it seem no trouble at all, which was really cool. Unfortunately due to various circumstances (mostly due to me being a bit disorganised) we didn't meet up in the end, but I would definitely look her up next time I'm in Berlin. She seems like a lovely person.

 

almost too good to be true! :-). My friend and I stayed with Danny for two nights in Berlin (and then for an emergency night two days later) :-) and she was terrific! She had to work while we were there, but made sure we were settled and gave us good ideas of places to visit. Even after we left to go stay with another couch surfer, we called her again and went out for breakfast together one morning. She is an amazing person that makes you feel like an immediate friend and I really hope one day I could meet up with her again!

 

Thank you Danny for your hospitality ! For my first couchsurfing experience, I couldnt have dreamed about a better host ! Danny has welcomed me in a very nice way, I felt I was a very special person ! We also had very interesting conversations. To visit Berlin and to meet Danny is, according to me, the best way to travel in this city !

She deserves the best.... If you want to ask for her to stay at her amazing crib, you have to think if you worth it...And if you are going to stay at your place and meet her you may consider yourself lucky...

Checkpoint Danny. Monuments you need to see while being in Berlin: Reichstag, Brandenburg Tor, …, beautifuly decorated flat with a great view on the city occupied by a great, generous, polite, interesting person – thank you Danny, for my first surf I couldn’t have a better host.

..never seen..never forget Danny. ..it was my first couch surfing experience..I have met Danny just 2 times in 3 days (for a few minutes)..because she had to work hardly..but..she has been very kind with me and Agnese: the first day she left us a very nice good morning message..
The second day..she left us a sweet present..chocolat....and she never got angry with us..when we woke up her (2 times)
I'm sorry i haven't had conversation with her..and so i hope i'll meet Danny again!
