My place is in main Island, Cannaregio VENEZIA.
15min by walking from SAN MARCO. :) 5 min to Rialto
I have 2 roomates, One Brazilian and One Japanese. They are really nice and intelligent researchers.
I can host only one couchsufer at the time, so If you have friends, I should ask you politely to find another couchsurfer available.
I don't smoke, no pet, during the week days I work 9-7pm. But it's flexible, If I don't have any important meeting, I can pick you up. Weekend, I usually go out of city. More than 3 nights is too many.
[Before you request]
(1). If you are making a request, Please, write me down little information about yourself. Just putting arrival day and "are you availble?" seems not a good way. As I respect others, I want you to have little respect on me. The point is simple! If you were a host, would you host someone who doesn't even describe himself and putting just date of arrival? Please!, read a tips below and send a proper request. (I receive a ton of bad requests.)
(2). Try to request one by one. I know it's hard, but if you 'copy and paste' your request to all surfers on the list, sometimes causes troubles. If you send me a request, I always let you know whether you can send other requests meantime or not.
(3). Please, read my profile with care. I don't understand why CS couple or with company send me a request. I can host only one by time!
P.S. Please bring your towel, I don't have many towels yet.

This summary is not a replacement for reading references; it's a quick summary to help you get started. At a glance, you can see how many references a member has, and how many of them are positive, neutral, and negative.
In the second line, you'll see how many references came from people who hosted this member, surfed with them, and traveled with them. These numbers won't always add up to the total: some references are not categorized, and some may be categorized as more than one thing.
When viewing this summary, don't jump to conclusions! Things that are negative for one person may be positive for another, and vice versa. It's important to read references carefully and evaluate what that information means to you.
Alex was a wonderful host and I truly enjoyed staying at his home. He went out of his way to help me: he picked me up at the train station, helped me find my way around the little Venice streets and showed me around. I felt really comfortable around him and his roommate Shuhei, and I loved chatting and getting to know them. Alex is kind and fun, and I would definitely recommend staying with him! Grazie, merci and thanks for making my Venice experience unforgettably wonderful!
Surfed Alex' couch (unfortunately only) for a night, but enough to spend great time there - with a magnificent walk across the town, a small meet-up of some people sitting and talkin and drinking together, and, of course, with Rodrigo, who did incredibly much complaining about Venice during the 10min back to their place :o) Great colourful funny amazing bunch of people living there together, thanks a lot :o)
My friend and I were hosted by Alex's roommate. From the little time I spent with Alex I found that he is an interesting and intelligent guy and it would have been nice to talk to hime more. Best of luck in all your endevours Alex :)
Alex claimed to be a bad host, but in reality he's one of the best I ever had. During my unexpectedly long stay we spent hours talking and showing each other our favourite pieces of art, and this was a very intense and interesting exchange.
It's hard to find the words that would express what I mean, I'm just very thankful for this wonderful experience. I got to know (just a bit, but still) a different way of perceiving the reality. Thanks for everything, for the time shared.
Alex was a considerate, extremely flexible host who went out of his way to help me have the best time in Venice I could, from recommending places to visit to introducing me to his friends at a fun birthday celebration. He is in some ways a tough nut to crack, but the reward is a smart, funny guy who is interesting to talk to.
Alejandro is the best CSer ever, seriously! He knows how to host people and how to make them feel confortable in their stay. Also personaly I totally trust him, he is such a gentleman. Happy to live with you, mate!
Although he had many things to do, he was a nice, helpful host. His flatmates are also friendly, open and funny people. Alex made me the impression that he is a really interesting person, so i felt sorry that we couldn't talk more. Maybe next time:)

Positive
extremely positive experience. and im not just saying it to be polite! alex and his roommates are very hospitable, super funny, sincere, and just great to hang out with. we had a funny dinner together, walked around venice at night, and in the morning he woke up early to show me the way to the bus station. he has a big heart and has tried to help CSers even if it has taken away his freedom to do other things. i'm very glad i was able to surf his couch. it was a great experience and i won't forget it!! Grazie!
