Personal DescriptionMe and my dogs. Passionate about taking care of the planet. I volunteer with a literacy group teaching English as a second language.
I talk with school children about taking care of our planet. How I Participate in CSI have hosted many travelers over the past three years. Most are here to see Mesa Verde National Park. Haven't talked anyone up into my Rocky Mountains. One of the most beautiful mountain ranges on earth.CouchSurfing ExperienceHosteling trip through Europe. Hitch-hiked with sis and another woman to Canada and around western US (1971) Have only hosted so far, but that is about to change...And change it did. I surfed three couches in Ireland and there is not enough room here to explain the difference between couch surfing and traveling with a tour book. What do these numbers mean?
This summary is not a replacement for reading references; it's a quick summary to help you get started. At a glance, you can see how many references a member has, and how many of them are positive, neutral, and negative.
In the second line, you'll see how many references came from people who hosted this member, surfed with them, and traveled with them. These numbers won't always add up to the total: some references are not categorized, and some may be categorized as more than one thing.
When viewing this summary, don't jump to conclusions! Things that are negative for one person may be positive for another, and vice versa. It's important to read references carefully and evaluate what that information means to you. References (46)46Positive 0Neutral 0Negative

From Monika Estermann Lucerne, Switzerland Dec 28, 2011 Positive We met Donna and her dogs while cycling through Cortez, New Mexico on the way south to Argentina. We had a short but great time at her nice home. Donna is very friendly, kind, and a energetic and dedicated host. We had very interesting conversations. Unfortunately we had to leave next day because of the winter in our neck. We really hope we get the chance to meet you again somewhere. Donna thank you very much for your hospitality.

From DannyandJulzzz Flagstaff, United States Oct 22, 2011 Positive Our very first couch-surfing experience was at Donna's home. The room is humble, the neighborhood very nice , great view off the deck, and sweet dogs. We found Donna to be a very kind person who made us feel welcome.
From Ian Waters Mandurah, Australia Oct 16, 2011 Positive Donna was a wonderful host - welcoming me and my friend into her house for a night and giving us a much welcome place to sleep after a week of camping, despite the sad loss of her dog Mia. She has lots of stories to tell and gave us lots of ideas about what to see in southern Colorado - including heading up into the mountains to see the fall colours - which we did! Hope to see her in Australia one day.
