Couch Information

Couch Available: Yes
Preferred Gender: Any
Max Surfers Per Night: 2

Shared Sleeping Surface: No
Shared Room: No

My guests get a separate room for themselves so they will have privacy.

I am back at home and maybe can host at the moment (until end of february). Ask me and I will let you know ;)

I live near the center, 7 minutes by bus or 20 minutes on foot, but it's actually nice area, even better than center itself :) Many cafe bars and pubs to drink coffee or beer, a nice park, a river, free market and everything you need for a normal life is 2 minutes from my place.

If I host you, we can drink coffee in some of cafe bars in the morning, walk along the river, if I am free I can also give you a ride around the city to visit some important places. But most important thing is that we can go out by night and party :)

Here is a few words and pictures of Nish:

Postcard from Niš

Center of Nish - Pic 1, Pic 2, Pic 3 , Pic 4 , Pic 5, Pic 6.

I reccomend you to visit a Skull Tower (big wall full with human heads), one of the most popular monuments in this part of Europe. Historically is connected to The Battle on Chegar Hill which is also nice place to visit, but it's 7 km from the city. If you are a biker, that wouldn't be a problem ;)

"Crveni Krst" (Red Cross) Concentration camp, was opened and popular during World War II. A lot of people passed through this institution :)

For relaxation, you should take a walk inside of the Fortress, it's in the center of the city, surrounded by high walls. It's very quiet inside, beautiful nature, trees, grass, at least 10 cafe bars, so, again, you can seat, drink something, and enjoy your life :) Pictures of the Fortress - Pic 1, Pic 2, Pic 3, Pic 4, Pic 5, Pic 6.

You can also visit The Spa of Nish (Niška banja), a piceful place, 8 km from Nish. There is a regular local bus line which will take you there. Pic 1, Pic 2, Pic 3, Pic 4, Pic 5, Pic 6.

Nishava is the river passing through Nish. You can walk along riverside, there are many nice places. Pictures of Nishava - Pic 1, Pic 2, Pic 3, Pic 4, Pic 5. Pic 6.

More pictures of the city you can find HERE and informations about Niš you can find here "about Niš"or here "short sketch of the city"

Personal Description

I prefer to tell people about myself in person, but here is some facts about me. I study geography, one more exam to finish. I am 28 years old crazy traveler, always ready for action, going out, making people laugh with my jokes :)) I try to travel as much as I can.

I had amazing traveling season in 2010. I made 3 trips - 4 weeks + 3 weeks + 2 and a half months, all in total, 4 months in 2010. and I am very happy about that because I had great time and met very nice people.

In 2011. two trips, first one was one and a half month, second one 24 days and the third one will last 2 and a half months in Southeast Asia. If you are somewhere there, contact me and we can meet up.

My FaceBook account. Sometimes it's easier and faster for communication.

Take a look on some of my videos to see how crazy I am:

Azucar Moreno feat. Bon Appetit Men - Bandido(s) It's a must to see this video ;)
Serbus Zagreb - Crazy dancing around city of Zagreb
This is Sparta and This is Sparta 2
Debil (Moron) Movie - Killing movie :) A group of couch surfers killed each other on different ways :)
Magarence Njako - I am singing some children song on a retarded way :) and became famous over here because of this video :)

Interests

Music (listen and play keyboard), movies, travels, camping, video editing, internet, web design.

Philosophy

"Karma is a funny thing" (My name is Earl) - Do good things and expect good things, do bad things and Karma will slap you like noone before. Be a good person, not mean.

Music, Movies, Books

Electronic/instrumental music like Jean Michel Jarre, Yello, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Disco '80, Koto, Art of Noise, Klaus Schulze, Music Instructor, Vangelis, Robert Miles, Sanja Ilic & Balkanika, Zoran Milisavljevic, etc.

Agata Christie - Ten Little Niggers

Movies: Back to the Future, Frequency, White noise and much more. I can't remember right now because I watched a couple thousands of movies and I have a big list of my favorites :)

Types of People I enjoy

Interesting and cheery people, people who like adventures, funny people with good or weird sense or humor,...

Teach, Learn, Share

Be good, don't be evil. Love people around you, don't hate them.

I will quote one of people I met on CS:

"I'm pretty good at travelling on a minimum budget, particularly as my favourite method of travel is hitch-hiking. Not only is it generally the cheapest way to go, but it means you get to meet interesting people, and see things you wouldn't otherwise get to see. It makes the journey just as important as the arriving, and gives you a completely different perspective from what you get when you just get on some train or bus and just twiddle your thumbs and wait to arrive at your destination." by Nomad Kat

One Amazing Thing I've Seen or Done

Everything I did is amazing :)

Opinion on the CouchSurfing.org Project

Excellent site and fantastic project. I like it. You made world smaller, why :'( I want a big world. Just kidding ;)

What do these numbers mean?

This summary is not a replacement for reading references; it's a quick summary to help you get started. At a glance, you can see how many references a member has, and how many of them are positive, neutral, and negative.

In the second line, you'll see how many references came from people who hosted this member, surfed with them, and traveled with them. These numbers won't always add up to the total: some references are not categorized, and some may be categorized as more than one thing.

When viewing this summary, don't jump to conclusions! Things that are negative for one person may be positive for another, and vice versa. It's important to read references carefully and evaluate what that information means to you.
