Since I get so many requests here's a list of things that helps if you're looking for a couch at my place.
☞★You must have a picture on your profile* Preferably a funny one, makes you look more interesting and fun to host.
☞★If you are more than one person you must provide links to your friends profiles.
☞★If you provide me with an email address you'll get a faster reply.
*Exceptions are party pictures or pictures of you with beer in your hands, then I won't host you :(
If you have trouble finding a place to stay check out Frederiksberg and the suburbssurroundingCopenhagen for hosts, public transportation is very good here and it will most likely take you ½ an hour to get to the center from a suburb.
I live very near the center, it takes exactly 12 minutes with the bus 5A from the Central station to my place and you can walk to the Nørreport Metro station in 10 minutes.
Important! bring Sleeping mats and bags and bedsheets I don't have any sleeping gear like blankets and such! If you don't do this it's your own fault if you have to sleep with nothing!
This is a strict no smoking apartment! No smoking in the kitchen out the window either, my nose is extremely sensitive to that stuff!
Outside the door is a bus, and 10 minutes walk is trains and metro See Travel Planner for trips within Denmark.
Sometimes I will show people around, depends drastically on how busy I am.
I do have a few blankets but they are in bad condition, use at own risk, bring sheets, or better yet, bring sleeping bags.
I'd rather you only stay a few days, like 3-4 maybe then find some other hosts. If you are planning your trip in good time, try some of the less experienced couchsurfers in Copenhagen, take some load off the heavy hosters and give others a chance to experience Couchsurfing.

Please read my whole profile before emailing me, it'll answer a lot of questions.
I'm a hippie, Juggler, Gøgler, dumpster diver and a maker of pancakes at my very informal, messy and hippie-like appartment, If I host you during the weekend, you might be lucky enough to have a pancake party held in your honour.
Oh and I'm only hosting members! so please if you're asking if you can bring your friends be sure to tell me their CS usernames.
Remember, I'm a host not a hostel!
This is a picture of my living room, the way it usually looks!
How I Participate in CS
I mostly just host a lot of people. Sometimes I go travel and I'd like to be hosted those times, so I figure if I host a lot of people, maybe others would like to host me, and it also increases my chances of traveling to places where I already know people :)
CouchSurfing Experience
Well I've been a member of the other hospitality site HospitalityClub since October 25, 2005. Now I'm moved mostly to CS.
I guess I've hosted a couple of hundred people, this have made me a very lazy host :)
I believe that as I guest, I should make it enjoyable for my host to host me, I'm expecting the same for my guests.
If the place I'm staying at is short on everyday items like Toilet Paper or Dishwasher liquid, I go buy some, so we can all do the dishes or go to the lavatory.
If you want to buy me a gift, you're welcome to do so, if you want to buy chocolate please consider dark chocolate, or better yet, just some fruit (instead of chocolate)
Interesting ones, people who makes themselves feel at home at my place, and are not afraid to use the toilet without asking!
Mi casa es su casa, make yourself at home, do a little dance, bring offerings. Keep the place as tidy as you found it, and make other guests + Palmar comfortable and welcome. Also, please write something in my guestbook!
Teach, Learn, Share
Please see my Google map for interesting things to see while staying in Copenhagen.
This summary is not a replacement for reading references; it's a quick summary to help you get started. At a glance, you can see how many references a member has, and how many of them are positive, neutral, and negative.
In the second line, you'll see how many references came from people who hosted this member, surfed with them, and traveled with them. These numbers won't always add up to the total: some references are not categorized, and some may be categorized as more than one thing.
When viewing this summary, don't jump to conclusions! Things that are negative for one person may be positive for another, and vice versa. It's important to read references carefully and evaluate what that information means to you.
I actually surfed his bike for almost half a day. He has driven me around in Copenhagen showing the area and interesting places, and we also visited Botanical gardens together! He is really fun person to be with!Thank you!
Thorbjørn hosted me in his friend's apartement in Stockholm some time back in 2007 and we spent a couple of nice days walking around the city and hanging out in parks together. Maybe we can repeat that sometime, somewhere :o)
It was really a pity that both of us were kind of busy during the days I've spent in Copenhagen.
We did not have so much time to spend taking and knowing better each other. But even though I have to say that Thorbjorn=HOSPITALITY.
Thank you for your time and place. You are (among other people) the responsible for my motivation after Copenhagen training. (I am even applying for jobs in there! :) )
You are my pride and joy!! I proudly boast world wide about this Viking warrior who wins hearts and minds one pancake at a time, right in the heart of my beloved Copenhagen. Top dollar, world class, CS spirit.
I bow in the dust! Hope you are at the skating rinks again this year.

Your pancakes are spectacular, as is your humor, generosity, and the fact that you returned my beloved little camera filled with travel memories galore ; D And I so dug the additional photos!
Wow what a trip... It was the first time i surfed and it was so good, crazy, fun, etc. We went to a bike demo with Thorn's cool's bike, then a city tour with Masha and afterwards a CS pancake party...
Thorn i must say you're a BIT crazy but that makes you special.
Thanks a lot and hope to see you in the future. Now i have some danish jam haha
