Paweł Nosal

 

Pawel and his girlfriend Sophie were excellent hosts! I had the honour of being Pawel's first surfer after he had obtained the noble status of ambassador. Even though I was visiting during the week, we met for lunch and a nice view of the city from Pawel's work building. In the evening we had some beers on the "beach" and went up in the hills outside the city for some nice drinks and finally dropped by a Vienna CS meeting briefly. Overall I had a great time and think Pawel is very much deserving of the title of ambassador!

Pawel was so kind to host us in wonderful Vienna. Pawel & Sophie were so hospitable to us for the nite that we spent couchsurfing with them. Pawel is such an interesting character with so many interests that it is so awesome to have a conversation with him. Can't wait to host you in Sabah and will get the info on Islands hopping for you very soon....Hope you have the best times & great journey travelling through Asia real soon.

Pawel may be the sweetest guy I have ever met. He is so hospitable and so thoughtful and really funny! He made us laugh all the time. I can't wait to hang out with him again in the future! Thanks so much Pawel for giving Jackie and I a place to rest and have fun!!!

Random things happen when Pawel is about, from having showers in feathers beside lakes, saturday night fever action sitting in 5 hours of traffic, enforcing limbos on dancefloors, urban gymnastics, and pulling faces that would make your grandmother worried for your safety if she thinks hes your friend. Hes a relaxed dude who is always up for spontaneous good times.

 

You wont find a better guy than Pawel.

I want to give birth to his polish little kids. Oh wait I don't have a vagina.

Well anyway I can say Pawel is one of the coolest and most entertaining people I know.

I thoroughly enjoyed every time we got together and I look forward to many more fun filled moments.

Through Pawel I have met people and experienced things that I will never/can never forget. He is a silly-goose goofball with his head put on straight, who lives his life openly and honestly. I admire his kindness to all beings (big and small), his generosity, his boyish sense of humor, his willingness to be the first one out on the dance floor...

Pawel is my good friend and cousin. He is a guy to get example from him. He is a good listener and great advisor. We grow up in this same courtyard in a small town near Szczecin. I hope see him soon.

Pawel was my first ever CS guest and the perfect guest. He is extremely easygoing and polite but I also really like him as a person and we had some great conversations. I met some of his CS friends too which was nice as they obviously really like him too. I hope we stay in contact.

 

Pawel, a man with a mischievous streak. At first I didn´t really connect with Pawel, but I can safely say I know where Pawel is coming from:) I like Pawel, he is a fun, sporty, friendly and spontaneous chap. Enjoy the eclipse in Shanghai:) PLUS PAWEL IS CERTIFIED INSANE!

Pawel is the man... We had a terrific Stockholm trip with Pawel, Ais and Zu... And definately I can go any where in this world or outerworld with Pawel. Enjoy the good company If you have chance... And hey Pawel I am sure we will manage to go running-sushi :)

He must be a little crazy, or maybe in love with Gent, because he took a 2OOkm drive (are was it more?) just to spend a night in Gent and show it to his dear friends. Looking forward to some more time with the strange polish guy and the fun candian and sarcatstic (I love this btw) austrian girls.

We grow up in this same village. At the beginning of our short(Paweł left Stepnica when he was 15) friendship we share the love of amiga games, now we share love of CS Idea. :-D (but i have all the time great contact with his family, (great people) :) )
So 1st CS meeting in Stepnica woluld be superb occasion to refresh contact. Also it will be on exceptional Christmass time.

pawel- well i'd say he is still the party clown. haven't seen him around lately..but from what I can tell knowing him for a while he has a good heart...is fun to travel with (roadtrip to gent and antwerp in belgium from berlin)...worth getting to know

Oh Pawel! He is one of the first persons I started to hang out with in CS. He is probably the funniest guy I have ever met, so many memories.. salsa in Floridita, strawberries picking :), movies, bootie call chats, motorbike adventure (this was awesome), endless bubbles!! We traveled to Stockholm, got frozen in a boat, and had the most unexplainable 5 seconds in a big machine in an amusement park.
You have to meet Pawel, he simply rocks! :o)

Pawel...what comes in my mind when I think about Pawel: funny, open minded, crazy... It is always a pleasure. He is surely someone you want to go our with, meet, host and be hosted by. I guarantee you a lot of fun : )

Pawel is a great guy, like seriously, i haven't laughed that much in ages. I think he's a guy u can totally rely on nd he takes care of his friends nd those who try to become friends with him. And apart from being a great person that let me invade his home, he has the biggest couch ever nd it's soooo damn comfy. So whatever u do, make sure, when u come close to Vienna, to meet this guy or to host him on one of his trips.

 

Thanks to Pawel and Company I got to see the Donaukanal at night && I also got some good advice about air travel in Europe. He's a pleasant soul with a bright personality.

Well. I only stayed in austria for two days. it was very very short, but it awesome. Pawel is the best company, lots of fun and laughter garanteed.

Pawel is a really nice guy. Open minding, interesting in getting to know other cultures.. Even the creol one with food and drinks! So, isn´t its true that the rhum killed your cold and that you feel better now? :-)

I first met Pawel in a CS meeting in Kotor as he was using a plastic glass as an oxigen mask, then got in touch with him when I got to Vienna, and stayed at his place. He’s a specialist not only of computering, and cheap flights, but also of hospitality, spicy food, performances, humour, and really helpful and simple Also, he let me a mobile phone for my stay in Vienna, very kind of him! Danke again, dziękuję... You’re welcome to Madrid when you wish !

 

Pawel and I had met at plenty of random CS events in Vienna, including meeting the night I was told of the magical wonders of the website. We knew eachother by face and so on but not well enough to friend and reference eachother. UNTIL Barbeque turned Danube Bridge jumping. We swam together across the Danube with a French guy we had met (who got lost somewhere?) and arrived in America. We there met some Brazilians and within 5 minutes we had conquered our fear and had jumped off an 15 meter bridge. Then later our new friends joined the party and we all chilled the night away. Very memorable, very fun, glad to have had Pawel there because its great fun talking someone into jumping off a bridge. but it didnt take much convincing...he was as excited as i was.

Pawel is a super nice guy. He walked me to the train station at 5 am! I enjoyed our talks at night before sleeping, and our shared love of photography, cheap travel, and India! Please come visit America one day, Pawel.

 

I met Pawel my last night in Turkey. He's a very nice guy with a good laugh. We had a good night and took funny pictures. I wish that I had had more time to talk to the man. He is always welcome in my home.

 

from what i can see he must be the best polish goalkeeper since jan tomaszewski. i hope that next time i can actually score a goal against him. but his knee-protectors give him an unfair advantage.

 

we met on a hookah nite, and he seemed to enjoy every breath of it-ah and also took cool pictures and posed simultaneously..Though we had little chance to talk, his "family" and he seems to be really cool people to hang around with..hope to see you next time man!

If you have not seen the movie “Borat” you would not understand some of his funniest jokes, so it is a pity for you. He always has a sentence like “In my country there is a huge problem ..." the problem of course changes from occasion to occasion:p Anyway, he is a nice guy who has unbelievable mimics and who makes you burst into laughter:) Together with Lu they made our short union incredibly perfect! He is the husband of the Salupani family and he has three problems:) guess what? While shooting pictures, he would forget everything, even himself and of course the wives:) He likes taking photos so much! In those times, he does not even notice what is going on, but when he and his dear Nikonia are separate; he is an amazing and very very funny person. With him, you will never get bored, I guarantee:D Please do not skip telling him how good-looking and how smart he is, you know, he is the husband:)

 

Pawel is an extrem cool and very funny guy. I believe you can't avoid having fun when he join a party! If you have the possibility to meet/host him - do it!

He used to wake me up when i had to work ;) now i call him when the networks not running. We survived a road-trip madness in the Balkans and i am glad he choose to store his "treasure" in the Mediterranean sea!

He drives with great skill and stamina, and his dedication to fun is just hillarious. I don't think I ever laughed more in such a period of time than when Pawel was around.

We had a fantastic experience together: As I had been kicked out from a cafe because supposedly I "couldn't afford the place", Pavel and I decided to organize (and shoot in video) a freezing demonstration.

He was indeed unbelievable as a frozen customer, I guess the waiter wondered if he got lost into the 4th dimension...;-)

Pawel you have a new nation now, you are from CATALUNYA! You contributed the most to make the whole trip to Balkans the best ever. You also kept the diginity when it was needed. So, welcome to the club of dignified catalan couchies.

He is Senor Catalunia Pawka Maria Kafka, tamer of wolf-like dogs and finder of treasure pots. And he makes a great pillow.

pawel is a genius! he can do miracles using his camera, I mean cameras! I wish I had at least 50% of his talent. Whenever he shows us pictures of some place they make me want to go there immediately :o)

he is also a wonderful member of the viennese cs party crew, always nice company, always up for a good chat and a lough!

but i think that he should come to more meetings so that we can chat more ;o)

*update* so we see each other a lot more often now and it is usually great fun - no chance to be bored around pawel! he surfed our couch after he fell asleep on a party (twice) and birgit did the same on his comfortable green carpet (his legendary couch would have been the better choice though). soon we will travel to holland together and we are looking forward to this trip a lot :o)

 

I would have left an "Extremely Positive" but apparently we're getting rid of those. Pawel and his friends are totally cool. They had me over for a cookie party and then they fed me and entertined me with fifth season family guy which I did my best to explain. You would be a fool to not invite Pawel into your home and your life.

We had the best idea for the freeze, went to the Pakistani restaurant (finally!), and I got to spread the joy of chocolate chip cookie dough. Pawel really knows how to introduce people to native Austrians.

Pawel was one of the first CS experiences I had and a prime example of why to be involved. He is one of the few people in the world who can make me laugh without reservation...even when we eat vegetables meant for cows and that tall guy sits right in front of him at the theater; and I miss the last train to the airport. There will be many more misadventures to come...

Everybody has to know Pawel:-)He is a real and very active couchsurfer,with much experience of this project... he was surfing in my home with Alex and offered his couch for me in an emergency situation, we had fun together everywhere:-)I bet we'll meet soon again and the CS adventures will go on:-)

Pawel is this guy that goes right to your list of friends as soon as he walks in the room. Now that I know he is an expert in flying “cheep and high” he is on my speed dial also:) He is extremely funny and a great negotiator without language barriers (he got this amazing Christmas three at half price, God knows how…) can’t wait to have him show us all the good places in Vienna.

We had a great time with Pawel, bought together the Benetton Christmas tree and brought it home.
We laughed for three days with him and Stefan and plan to see each other soon.
Hope to see also Poland some day, because he always says "In my country...":), like in Borat.

Pavel was a real pleasure meeting you. I had a great time hicking Tampa together, ordering your muschi de vita, exchanging thoughts over a slice of Jazz, or over a bottle of beer, or just over a cabbage soup. It was a pleasure having you as a guest, I really enjoyed it. Pavel is very talkative, he loves enhacing the other cultures, he is very sociable, he makes you like him very quickly. I hope we get the chance to meet in Poland so that I can bring a grandmother doll to your grandmother’s grandfather doll, I hope is not very confusing

i first surfed his couch with 2 friends for a couple of days back in april..we all had fun and enjoyed the things we did. we took lots of pics and he showed us the CS spirit which he definately embodies~! we than decided to meet up again later in june to travel throughout some parts of eastern europe and the balkans. it was a great trip! he is highly trustworthy and respectable. :)!

Staying with Pawel was one of the most hilarious experiences i've ever had. Pawel has an amazing sense of humor, especially when it came to my friend almost burning his flat down. He also does one hell of a borat impression. This is a couch i would recommend for anyone to surf.

 

Pawel - the crazy Indophile I met when he war wearing scuba gear at a summer party in cold and wet Copenhagen.

He has obviously has picked up some choice Malayalam from all his Mallu crew in Vienna :D Loud, friendly and great fun, he was the first person to introduce himself and gave us shots of vodka. Good way to kick off a party!! Will definitely be seeing you again Pawel! Keep in touch man

 

paweł will be my assistant and brave travel companion on our adventurous quest to dracula's country on the traces of roman polanasky's movie "dance of vampires". if we will not get bitten by bats i will be able to report more... :)

Giving me chocolate or alcohol is the easiest way to become my friend and Pawel came with both :) I don't even try to describe this amazing person, he's just awesome and we definitely want to travel with him (february?) :)

how do i begin to describe my experiences with borat? he is incredibly nice and has a great sense of humor that will undoubtedly entertain you if youtube clips and his sweet dance moves aren't enough! he took us out wandering the streets of vienna one night, made some reeeeaaallly great food (well, participated in making it...) and we had a great time at a CS gathering!!! he's totally fun and anyone who has the chance to surf with him is lucky!

This guy is so nice :) I remember some of my best moments hanging out with him and his cousin. So much crazyness!!! Very trustworthy.

Me and Edith passed something like 14 days with this crazy guy ,We went with him for a poland-trip we met all of his familly, we drank a lot of wodka we took so many pictures and we had a lot of fun !So, if you want a good couchsurfer , search for a polish one , they are the best !

Pawel was really nice , i really felt at home at his place because he gave me a lot of freedom of movement, i loved vienna and i hope you will enjoy romania, I am really sorry I won't be home at that time.. :(

I spent by Pawel's flat 2 nights and haven't any problems, it was very nice to meet him. Unfortunately we hadn't any time to meet for a beer and talk a bit, but... maybe next time :) Otherwise Pawel was really helpful and really made my stay in Vienna very pleasant.

Yes, we were in an accident...but the best part is that all three of us in the car felt responsible...so there are no hard feelings to anyone!! Not everyone would have gotten the car back under control like Pawel and saved all our lives! and I could see how bad he felt...there's no better way to tell someone's character than when you are in a traumatic event together...Pawel's a true champion!

We had great convos both before AND after the crash and he even invited me to ride in his car again...hahaha...love it! Pawel...I am not afraid to ride with you anywhere! Very sweet, helpful,and interesting guy!

 

Pawel is so cool, no matter if he makes a funny face, takes a picture, bathes the little stinker or stops dead in the middle of whatever he was doing at the moment to think about if what I just said makes any sense to him or not (usually he ends up laughing). He has great travel stories to tell and photos to show and Frydryk is one of the cooles pets I ever met and so cute! Was a cool time in the car on the way to Prague with him and Caroline :) Super guy!!

I really really like pawel, first he introduced me to the first ferret i ever met, then he introduced me to the world of google earth and then he brought isa and me on a road trip with he and Caroline(though they are now called Buster and Kimple). We had a bunch of fun and hopefully we can take trips again and hang out when he comes back.

 

July 4-5 were my sisters first time CSing. What better a host then Pawel!! Thanks Pawel and hope to see you in September for the wine festival!!


We surfed Pawel's couch on the third of March 2007. Due to his studies, he was unable to show us around (besides on the map). Pawel has a great sense of humor. We will definitely offer him visit Prague as often as we can. Na zdravi!

Pawel is the most impulsive guy I never knew! I went to his flat with Marika, met him for a half hour, and there we felt like he trusted us like he never trusted nobody before! We had the best Poland trip with him that we could never have if we didn't meet him. we were like old friends who didn't meet since long. I don't know how I could say more, he is a friend like everyone want to have!

The first time I met Homer Simpson I knew he had some important role to play in my life. Yes, this was to carry my furniture down two flights of stairs which he'd done with much enthusiasm, as in everything else he seems to do. Surprisingly, he turned down the offer of free beer and I believe this illustrates certain special hidden qualities in the Homer we all thought we knew. Homer is animated but unlike his cartoon persona, he is smart with a good sense of adventure and a thirst for more than just beer

Pawel, my Polish namesake, is just a cool guy. Funny, entertaining and a great photographer. There's always a lot of fun when he's around.He showed me how to register for the "citybike", he showed me the "Stadtpark" (yes, I've never been there before) and we went to this fantastic little blues pub called Louisiana. Moreover, he let me surf his couch. And all that on one day! I really felt like a couchsurfer from abroad! :D *LoL*SOLETTIS forever! *high five*:D

Pawel is the coolest guy!! i surfed his couch and he made me feel just like in home, we chat, we hang out, he introduce me to his friends and he always was taking care of me, he made my first couch surfing experience just unveliavable also he always knows how to draw a smile on my face (or evereybodys face) i just adore him! thanks for everything my dear friend!! :D

I loved staying with Pawel and Fryderyk! Pawel is incredibly friendly and has a good sense of humor. He also has great, outgoing friends who had dinner and drinks with us one night. I would couchsurf with him again if/when I come back to beautiful Vienna! :)

 

Pawel seems to be very generous and is very friendly. We didn't have time to speak for hours since I was in a rush and he open his flat to me to have some few hours rest. Hope to see him soon, in Vienna, Praha, or in Poland.

 

Glad not to be a girl: Would have been love at first sight! ;) I looked up Pawel's profile when joining the Vienna-Group. However, you can't beat reality!! :)) Let's sing some songs to the rythm of guitar while having that beer, my friend!! Okay?!

I've met Pawel twice now, and both times it has been a blast. Our trip to Bratislava was filled with laughter, all different kinds of excellent music, and many, many fake tears. And his 'good mood' at the couch surfing meet in Vienna was also a blast.

Pawel hosted my sister and I during our few days in Vienna this spring, and we had a great time! He has a very entertaining, chocolate-loving flatmate named Frydyreck, who pretty much runs the place. :) Pawel introduced us to a couple of his good friends, and we all had a wonderful time drinking sangria (a little spot of sunshine) together, and attempting consciousness during The Third Man. Pawel, thanks so much for letting us stay...I hope to see you in Oregon or Afghanistan!!

Pawel is just a great gent. It turned out that i've nearly been to his village in Pomerania, Poland...but just nearly. Anyway, he's an amazingly funny company for partying, hope gona see him in the future. Na zdrovie!

i met pawel the first time at a cs-gathering in vienna, but he knows me from university (from my time at students council [ÖH]).

we had a really nice chat at the meeting and since university isn't the only topic we are able to talk about, i hope to meet him again soon ;-)

Dined overlooking the museum quarter of Vienna, followed by free-flowing wine and a night of broken hearts (of the card game variety).

Pawel was a most excellent host, They cooked me some beautiful soup, and took me to see an amazing band!overall brilliant experience for my intorduction to Vienna!plus he has a very naughty ferret who was brill!defiently recommend staying with him, on his most comfortable couch!

Pawal is so fun to be around, and cares about the couchsurfing community! He tried so hard and was patient to meet up with us, A+ for effort and fun!

Pawel is a funny guy, had a great time with him at a Jazz-concert last week, where he convinced me that it is time I go to India:) And, he's into photography, I would like to nick his nikon..:)

 

We met at a couchsurfing gathering. i think he is a very nice guy...I was impressed because not many guys his age talk so openly about personal issues, with clear sincerity and he obviously showed family values. Something I (and my children) appreciate very much in a person and we consider somehow scarce in the society in which we are living.
An overall very positive impression!

I´ve known Pawel for a long time now and I´m glad that we got in touch again.
Pawel introduced me to Couchsurfing, he is a great guy who likes to enjoy life which is why I like hanging out with this fella. If I were a communist leader I´d award Pawel the Order of grandfather Lenin for fearlessly feeding dogs on the Macedonian border and diving for old relics;)!

 

Was a real pleasure to meet this polish bloke :) I had a great time hanging out with Pawel and his Indian friends at Vienna's CS meeting. On 'Bereitschaftsdienst' for a next party :)

 

Pawel is really cool. So much so that we gotta go back and see more of him and the wonderful city of Vienna! I believe him to be so trustworthy and such a nice guy we left some of our stuff there to lighten the load, thanks Pawel!

Upon our return even tough Pawel was too busy to even be at his house he gave us a place to stay anyway! He is truly a great guy and my only reget is that we did not get to spend enough time with him. I hope one day our paths cross again because I had such a great time when he was around...

Pawel is very cool and showed us around the town and went out with us. We had alot of fun, and he was able to tell us about other places we could visit while he was at work. We are hoping to go back to visit him again soon, so we will add to it later! :)
