Peggy and I know so many poeple in comon, it was destiny we would sooner or later meet: and we did!
Friendly, curious and talkative, she is someone you can't miss meeting when you're in L.A.

I met Peggy at the Downtown Artwalk and we got along at once. Peggy even invited me to come down to the beach with her and her family what was so sweet. You definitely have to meet her!

Peggy's awesome. She's been at most of the CS events I've attended and has always been very friendly and inviting. I'm so happy we've made a connection. She lives close to my work, so I'm so excited about grabbing drinks with her, getting together after work!!

 

I met Peggy half an hour before 2009 in Buenos Aires, and together we celebrated the New Year. She is very friendly and good company. It was fun trying to hunt down loose change in this crazy city. :)

I guess we all feel that her stay here was too short... When finally we were able to talk for a while it came out in no time that she's a great person; talkative, comprehensive, someone who tries to get the whole picture about anything. Thanks for handing me the books, and as u said, someday I have to go to the west coast!

Peggy was a nice and fun girl. I hope you were able to make it to that CS NYE Party. See you some day in LA.

 

Peggy is fun to hang out with. We shared a few laughs over the biggest juiciest Argentinian steak ever. If I'm ever in LA I'll definitely look you up!

 

We met up for the Artwalk in Los Angles at Edisons and had a blast for a quick streak, So it calls for another meet up next time. Dang we had a great group the night would of been nuts!
Not much time to tap into each others brains as we were stuffing our mouths with PIZZA and beer, i sense and feel you are a great person "a people person" which is awesome! This gives us the excuse to wrap this up next time soooooo yeeehaaa till next time looking forward to the next artwalk when im in town.

Peggy is a great person, nice and really helpful! Me and my friend spent few days in LA with her. She is my first CS experience and the best first experience I could have :) Thank you for helping me with my new camera, which, I broke in half a day :) The one I have now is still working :)))

Peggy and I played a world class game of email tag. In the process, I learned a bit about Peggy and Los Angeles. We did meet up for drinks in Santa Monica, where we hung out with some of her friends and other CS'ers. I hope that our paths will cross again!

Oh My, Peggy is an awesome human being, her hospitality, warm heart, friendliness; easy to get along with people is a gift to anyone who meets her. Peggy is the kind of person who makes you feel like if you know her for years, her openness and charisma give you the feeling that you can trust her in any way. Thank you Peggy for your friendship.

I'm lucky to surf Peggy's place. She is very nice and introduced her friend to me. After this time I am willing to visit US again to experience more!

It was real pleasure to stay with Peggy, one of the most kind and good-hearted person on the CS who I've ever met. She was hosting me with my friend Mirka and showed us all the famous places in LA which she could, we went for a dinner with her interesting friends, also couchsurfers, Peggy hepled us with everything, was doing her best to make our stay awesome. I'm sorry you couldn't get more sleeping because of our stupid car rental and thank you for your care of us. Take care and have a fun in Grand Canyon at least as we had :)

Peggy was with a group of fellow couch surfers who all seemed to trust each other, so I trust her.

This was our first time couchsurfing, and Peggy was so wonderful, going above and beyond what we expected! She showed us not only L.A.'s best side, but couchsurfing's best side, as well. We enjoyed spending time with her and hanging out together even after we finished couchsurfing. We definitely want to go back to visit Peggy, and we would love for her to hop on over to New York as well!

I have been so busy I haven't been to many gatherings. But last month, I jumped back into the groovyness that is couchsurfing (via the LA Artwalk Meets) and I met Ms. Liu. Peggy is super sweet and super fun. She has such a solid sense of self and is a joy to be around. She's adventurous and I can't wait to hang with her more.

 

Peggy is very friendly and nice. We have a mutual friend and they went to Iceland together. We spoke about Iceland and she sent me interesting links to help with my trip planning at the end of August 08.

 

Peggy is awesome. She is really flexible with people who travel to LA. I was having a difficult time getting around without a car and she was willing to meet me for dinner with 0 days notice.

I didn't get to know her enough to say much about her. But she was adventures enough for me to give her recomendations

Peggy was great dinner company, and as we ambled about town with Eva, they showed me some things about Reykjavík I didn't even know (btw, do you have that "fondling statues" photo? ;P )... Low-maintenance as a guest- the only sign that she had been here was that there were way less dirty dishes than when she came.

Peggy was very nice with my friend and I, she showed us some very famous parts of Los Angeles, and made us try some typical places/restaurants in LA. We were very lucky to stay with her !

An awsome experience surfing her couch! because she's easy-going, reliable, very kind, she was smiling about my histories (that gives me confidence hehe) and guys, if you couch with her, ask for the korean experience! thank you Peggy, I hope to see you in Colombia!!

Sweet Peggy is a close friend of my bf. Despite the fact the pain-killers make her tired, she still cared and made me feel at home. I enjoyed meeting her friends for dinners, karaoke and especially i appreciated her very much when she stayed up to 2.30am to play majong game with us. Thank you for taking me to the airport and i am sure i will go back to see you...because you are great. Fingers crossed that you will get better soon.

Peggy was, to my mind, the cutest Indian in West Hollywood...and there were quite a few! I really enjoyed meeting her and would LOVE to spend some more time with her.

 

Peggy is a very dedicated host and became a friend throughout my eventful stay with her. We made it though ups and downs and she has a lot of energy to spend, on amazingly little sleep ;-) Also, she introduced me to great friends of her, all in all, an amazing stay that added to my life in an unexpected and very rewarding way...

OK I know I've said it before, but Peggy really was a fantastic host! Super helpful, allowed me to take over her kitchen in an experimental cooking effort which with the help of her awesome friends turned into an evening to remember. If by chance Peggy crosses your path somehow you simply have to take up the opportunity to get to know this gal :-P

A very hospitable and cheerful person indeed.

I didn´t get to talk nearly as much with Peggy as I would´ve liked, it´s true, but I trust my instincts and from the limited exchange we had I think this girl´s a gem. All the best for your future travels, never stop exploring.. and until we meet again!

To keep it short:

Peggy is awesome. We met while sleeping side by side in Ireland, and explored the city together as well. We experienced a Dublin Couch Surfing 'party', and took shots of Irish liquor together. Peggy's a sweet, funny, and kind girl and a definite asset to CS.

I only spent 1 hour with peggy as i had to join some friends in town. She was very nice and polite. Thanks for the Lonely Planet of Ireland! :o)

Our friendship developed throughout gchat but finally we had the chance to meet again in Paris. In my opinion she is a very spontaneous, generous, real friend. I now can understand why someone could have been complaining for not having met her in real life... And thanks again for the incredible Peggy's omnipotent device (that someone knows as iPod ;)

 

We greatly enjoyed hosting Peggy and her friend Elainia. They are naturally resourceful, arriving at our door without any problems! They were relaxing to be around and great to talk to! We'd love to meet again.

 

Peggy and Elainia were model guests and good fun- they didnt even complain about living amongst the rubble that is my house at the moment - they're great at meeting new people in pubs too - dying to hear that tape Elainia!

We missed eachother in Rome one month ago but at the end we managed to meet up today in Santa Monica! We had a coffee and a very nice chat discovering we will probably be able to see eachother again in Paris in less than three weeks. Do we use the same travel agency??? Has been such a pleasure meeting you Peggy!

 

Peggy is a very resourceful traveller ... when she surfed my couch we had numerous other surfers present but we enjoyed a meal together and after that a CS going away party fo a CS legend in Dublin. Peggy was a nice surfer to host whom I can recommend highly!

I told my mom peggy is short for peggelson. and now I call her that, and she doesnt even care, thats how cool peggelson is. She is one of the nicest girls on the west coast.

I really enjoyed the few hours I spend with Peggy in Lyon. We shared some beers, one Kebab and had a really nice talk. She explained to me what she is doing as a "beans counter" and I am now looking forward for the next time I could meet her... On the beach of L.A.? ;o)

 

Peggy stayed for a few day in France. I had the chance to host her after a mini meeting.
She's a person that everydody would like to host : open minded, curious, talkative, friendly...
What a chance for me to meet her.
Hope she will be back soon in France.

I was looking for a couch in LA due to Star Wars convention, so she offer me her couch in her lovely apartment (how can I get one of those?) First it was to be two nights but I was a mess in my agenda and only stayed one night, but still she is an extremely good host and person, hope to see her again!

 

Peggy is generous, friendly and kind. She is really an ideal CSer, and a good friend and neighbor to boot. Highly recommended that you host her or get in touch if you're in town.

 

PeggyLiu is a great CSr in that in every occassion I have been fortunate to meet her, she always offers rides to other members and brings friends to the gatherings! I can't wait to hear of her hosting/surfing stories, as she opens her couch so often that maybe I'll come and surf her couch and see why everyone wants to CS with her!

 

I only met Peggy one evening and I do admit I was unusually intoxicated ;) What I do rememeber well about Peggy is that she was very polite, helpful, social and worked the crowd well at our party. Peggy was our second host in LA and we all had a great time going out for drinks and food! We hung out with her friends and went to interesting places around the city, and most important, she made us feel at home all the time. I really enjoyed her company and hope she'll pass buy Brazil when I'm there!

Peggy hosted us in Santa Monica for 2 nights. I really enjoyed the time spent with her, she is very caring and comitted and and took us to great places in LA. Felt really comfortable at her place. It was such an easy and nice time, she - and her friends as well - are friendly, easy-going and 'nice to talk with' people:-)

It was a great pleasure to host Peggy ! Down to earth and trustworthy person who keeps on smiling everytime despite terrible weather or innovative food that comes into children portions ! Peggy and I met at a Couch Surf get together in Santa Monica, CA, close to where we both live. I didn't really get a chance to get to know her but she is friends with one of my other local CS friends and, recently, we have gotten to know each other better. She's fun and we both love travel, including to Italy. I've only recently made friends with some of the local CSers and I'm glad to count Peggy in this group of nice people!

Peggy was my first succesful cs experience and an excelent host!
She was in a busy period at work when Yao and I surfed her couch but she took her time to show us around and meet up with other couchsurfers.
I believe this is the start of a great friendship.

Peggy is a great host!! Eager to show us around, very attentive to our needs, and the air mattress very comfortable. I really regreat not having spent more time in LA, in order to get to know her better.

 

I met Peggy and her friend for some dinner. We had some great TexMex and really gorged ourselves with the yummy chips & salsa and the Ooweey Gooweey... It was great to show them around.. The weather was BEAUTIFUL!

She is easy to talk to, funny, entertaining and can organize a gathering quite well:) I can say for a freaking fact that 2007 can only get better;). we had some good laughs and some patient chills...but we survived to laugh about it in the end;). i am glad i made new friends! Oh yeah...and we share Roman eye candy:) thanks for new years! it's so great that we still talk all the time, it's like you're still here;)

Peggy gave us such a warm welcome and made us feel at home straight away after 26 hours in transit from Australia. Great company for dinner and drinks!

I would say Peggy made my very first couch surfing a super fantastic experience. I stayed with her for 4 days in LA, she has been driving me around every day after she got off from her 9-5 work. I was totally amazed by her hospitality. She is such a great person with all kinds of positive personalities, happy,outgoing, considerate and caring. She is the best!!!

I met Peggy at the LA meeting and enjoyed talking with and only wish we had all day to talk before it got so loud in the club. I will for sure keep in touch and hope to meet up again soon ;)

I really like Peggy. She's very easy to talk to, open-minded, and an expert traveller. Though she works long hours, she makes time to get away - with only 3 weeks of vacation last year - she made it to 5 countries. We talked about our mutual home in Taiwan, our love of food, and the importance of travel to one's life. She brought me to dinner at a great Japanese restaurant, brought me sightseeing to a pre-Oscar Mann's Chinese Theater, and shared pretzel sticks on the way to meet up with another CSer. I hope she comes to Denver, so I can show her as much kindness as she showed me.

This is just another extremly positive reference :) After arriving in LA and surviving 2 hours of Valentines day traffic jams, I was warmly welcomed by Peggy who has had already invited two friends Erica and Peter in order to go out for a marvelous Persian restaurant. This felt so good after all the junkfood in the weeks before. Afterwards we went down to the beaches, but decided to have another beer at Barney's as the wind outside has almost blown us away. We had a nice evening chatting and exchanging couchsurfing experiences. We even convinced Erica to give it try. Sadly, I had only one night to enjoy Peggy's hospitality. LA is certainly worth investigating a few more days, especially when you have a car. Thanks for everything and greets to Peter and Erica!

Had dinner with Peggy and Eva. They are fun, outgoing, adventureous, interesting gals. We had great conversations and everyone enjoyed the outing.

Peggy was my first official stranger surf. She's super nice and real fun to hang out with. She showed me around L.A., and was extremely hospitable. Really happy she was my first stranger host i stayed with for its a very good introduction to couchsurfing! Definately a positive reference :)

 

Peggy is a terrific person I've known for a couple of years now. She is really warm and caring and she is excellent about staying in touch. You can always depend on her to be up for some kind of activity or adventure!

 

Peggy and Judy were really nice with us, they made us very nice and funny presents and were really easy going. It's a pity Judy was sick for a while, but she was able to visit the louvre and eat Thomas' crèpes, so everything was fine the end :-D

 

I contacted her only last minute, but she managed to meet me on the same day for a drink. I had a very good time, we talked till midnight. Yes, I had a great time with the Couchsurfers in the L.A. area and I managed to get everywhere by public transportation (which surprised them a lot:-)

Peggy is cool and friendly. We had a good time hanging out and had a lot to talk about.

We hungout and had a beer with some other CS people in LA. It was really a lot of fun hearing about other peoples' lives and travel plans. Peggy is very sweet and likeable, very easy to get along with.

 

I have slept in more wierd (and sometimes smelly) places with Peggy than anyone else I know. She's one of my best friends and I know I can count on her when "I've fallen and can't get up" ha! I look forward to may more years of us dragging our sleep-deprived but curious and well-fed (hopefully) @$$es around the globe. All we need is a clean bathroom and plenty of memory for our digital cameras...

Peggy and her mate Brian stayed at me for 4 days. Really kind and polite, unfortunately we did not have the chance to spend many time togheter. I remember we had a fun welcome dnner with a bounch of my friend and them, then napoli and its beauties has completely captured them. I am sure the really enjoied my wonderfull city and, believe me, it makes me happy. TRUST THIS GIRL AND NOT ATTENDED THE STUPID BAD REFERENCE SOMEONE WROTE HER.

::Sept 2006:: It was great seeing Peggy again just after a month from my trip to US, it made me feel still on holiday :-) I'm glad you enjoyd your trip :-) ::August2006::Peggy is very nice and sweet, she loves food and she took me eating all around town. My vacation in LA couldn`t have been nicer. I hope to see her very soon in Milan :-)
