About me:
what should i tell you... hmmm...
- atheist: but i like talking about religions
- a bit extroverted :-)
- not a giant: so i'm one of the smaller people ;-)
- can sleep like a log: everywhere even if it's loud
- sunny boy: always smiling :-)))
- want to see every country in the world ;-)
- i like nearly every kind of music (depends on mood)
- really easygoing (just ask my surfers/hosts)

About my life:
my hometown is in styria

after school i finished a software-developing training and tried to get a job anywhere in austria.
so i got a chance to work in salzburg (nice city for sightseeing, but quite expensive).
after 2 years i decided to go back to styria. new job in leoben, but after 1,5 years many things in my life changed (maybe i'll tell you later) and i applied to be transfered to the headquarter in vienna.
so - here i am! :-)
living in vienna since june 2008

weekdays i'm at work (software-developer with raiffeisen bank), but always try to spend as much time with my friends as possible. (sometimes too less time) :-(

the wonderful - but too short - weekends:
relaxing, having fun, discover vienna until the sun is rising,...
every couple of WE i drive to my hometown to meet my friends there. if anyone wants to see nature, mountains, cows ;-) ... the oposite of a large city - just text me.

i'm always looking for interesting people from all over the world. started my first couchsurfing trip in april 2010. (read more at "couchsurfing experiences")

couchsurfing is a great idea! i like it so much and i'm sure i'll meet more wonderful people!
people from different cities, countries and religions

i hope i can start my next CS-trips soon.
my favorite destinations where i want to go: eastern europe, near and middle east

PHILOSOPHY

We don't love qualities, we love persons; sometimes by reason of their defects as well as of their qualities.

I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i started my fist couchsurfing trip in april 2010.
3 days in bukarest. i get in touch with mona (thank you for everything!!!) a few weeks before and booked my flight. was a really unfamiliar feeling for me to fly alone to a foreign country.
but everything went perfect! i met mona and her mother at their home. we understood each other from the first minute. on friday afternoon mona showed me nice places in bukarest, we met lucian - a friend of mona - (also a very nice guy). saturday we drove out of bukarest to have a barbecue with friends. was very funny with people from many countries (romania, france, iceland, bulgaria,.)
sunday the airports were closed because of the vulkano eyjafjallajökull. it was no problem for mona and her mother that i had to stay longer! they helped me so much to get a new flight back to vienna and on tuesday i went back to vienna. these 5 days belong to the most wonderful days i had in my life. it was such a nice experience.
THANKS to all people i met in bukarest.
