Allan is an interesting interlocutor, always full of business ideas, open and easygoing. It would be a pleasure to see you again, pal.

My friend Andrea and I stayed with Allan, et al., on our way to Burning Man 2008. His apartment was full with several people already occupying the couches, they were packing for BM, yet they still made room for us to stay!!

It was wonderful to meet everyone, talk, hang out, have a few drinks, eat a great dinner, etc., etc.. Despite coming through at an awkward and busy time (we were there while they were finishing up costumes and loading the U-Haul), everyone made us feel sooo incredibly welcome and we had a great day in San Francisco!!

I hope that one day I'll be able to return the favor or at least hang out with their crew again!

Allan, Anelya and Ivan are great hosts! It was fun to sing Beatles songs, have a delicious dinner at a hawaiin restaurant and get to know each other better!
And couch was pretty comfy by the way!
I felt in love with SF. Wonderful city and wonderful people!!!

Allan was a highly original and enjoyable host. He amazed me several times by showing new facets of his personality that I never expected. He is fun and trustworthy, businessman and hippie. I had good times staying in his apartment.

 

Allan is a terrific guy and a wonderful host, well along with his fianc'e. He is fun to hang with and interesting to talk to, as real smart guy with lots of ambition. A great host and surfer, he will always have a place to stay in LA. I am glad to have met them and hope to see them at Burning man.

It's been almost a year since I stayed with Allan and Aneyla, but I still remember it! Absolutely wonderful hosts and interesting people. They also provided me with my first couch surfing experience. A+++

Allan is a great guy, and a close friend of mine.

Great host. His housemate was a wonderful guy as well, fun to talk to both of them. They let me stay and treated me wonderfully even though they seemed to be hard at work. Allan's girlfriend (i think thats who she was) was a wonderful hostess, brought me fresh sheets and pillows which was quite nice. His house is immaculate and his couch is comfy as well. Allan is a great guy.

Allan offered to take me in when no one else would (because of the dog) when I was half drowned in the SF rain. I did not actually meet Allan until later (he's a super nice guy), but his girl friend (now fiance) was like a ray of sunshine that cut through the SF cold and fog.

Allan was a truly giving, informative, interesting, smart, and fun host. He offered me his couch the very same night I contacted him, made me feel at home and welcome, and even asked me to play my music for him, which was an extremely positive experience. His room mate Ivan was so amiable too, and his fiance, Anelya, is truly wonderful. I give him and the whole household two thumbs up! And I also very much enjoyed going out and having fun with all of you. Thank you for showing me more of San Fran. Thanks Allan, Anelya, and Ivan for the great time! It's going to be great to see you again!

 

I know Allan for over 3 years now, he is really passionate about CS project, about things he can learn and everyday world. He is always here to help and cheer me up. He is wonderful person!

 

Allan is such a clever guy. It was really good couch surfing in his home for two days. His fience is very friendly and it was really nice to met them both. Nice talk, great ideas and I hope to catch up with them again. Thanks a lot guys! Hope to see you in Brazil sometime.

 

Allan and his roommates were extremely hospitable and welcoming. I had a great time chatting with them and fell in love with their local coffeeshop Nani's! They've got a very comfortable couch and a big place. Good times!

CS with Allen, he and his girlfriend are very GOOD hosts - all you could hope for in a CS Ambassador. Hope Allen's business dreams come true, and would like to work with him in the future on mutual projects.

Allan & his roommates were very friendly & gracious, my only regret being I didn't get to make them some dinner, but maybe in the future.

Allan hosted me almost 3 nights in SF and I felt like at home there - the man is truly welcoming and generous, i won't recommand him on CS since he already has tons of requests ;) but if you have the chance of being accepted on his MASTERCOUCH, you'll have great time!

My experience working with Allan in SF and LA on event projects. He's an awesome guy and I highly recommend interacting with him if you get the chance.

My friend and I were staying at Allan`s place for a weekend in San Francisco. We had an awesome time with him and his friends. They were so helpful and kind to take us out to barhopping. They give us good tips and host us very good. It was a pleasure for us to stay with them!

Met Allan, who is, can I say it openly and loudly, badass, inspiring, dependable dude, may be, back in the 20th century (some long-lost and almost forgotten high school years), we have been friends with him since. As we both matured, we became even closer friends (he credits me with somewhat immersing him back into the Russian culture and hang-out). In the past several years we've had the chance and pleasure to shake up Atlanta on numerous occasions as well as travel up and down and party in Ukraine during our 2006 Kazantip trip. I hosted Allan and Anelya in the summer of 2007 in Moscow for a couple of days, where we all enjoyed several blurry-buzzed nights out in the city!

 

Allan was a fantastic host. He's a fellow entrepreneur, with great ideas and excellent advice on places to see and current (tech) activities in the area. We shared in some great conversation, fantastic food, and a great birthday bash with his friends. I look forward to meeting up with him again, Thanks Allan!

Extremely kind and considerate people. This was my first time couch surfing and i felt so at home. They gave myself and my girlfriend the space we desperately needed--they were engaged yet not pushy, gave us space, yet were not distant. And the air mattress we slept on was super comfortable! Thank you Allan and friends.

Allen, Alenya and Ivan we're some bad-ass hosts. Allen makes some mean drinks and Alenya makes some bitchin' food. Thanks for the great hospitality on such short notice. Hope to see ya's in Goa one day.

Allan, Anelya and Ivan are friendly and great hosts. Allan makes a mean mojito and Anelya makes an awesome burrito. Allan's enthusiasm about his work is inspiring.

They attract incredibly wonderful people. On my way out I met an incoming couchsurfer whose laughter and appreciation of life will be impossible to forget.

We were invited to a great costume party and partied out by 1 or 2am. Allan and his gf and roomie, Ivan are so much fun! and have great taste in music and are some of the most open-minded ppl i've met.

I've known Allan for years, traveled the world with him, and consider him both a close friend and an interesting person. He comes highly recommended.

This man treated me like a brother in my times of greatest need and nourished me back to health. We met as dapper young lads in our salad days, and we've only become stronger friends as our hairs have grayed.

 

We were very excited to host someone who had been so involved in the couchsurfing project. Happily, Austin was having a couchsurfing meetup while they were here so we were able to hang out. They're a great, fun and interesting couple. We're so happy they stayed with us.

 

Allan and I met while being hosted by the same person in New Orleans. We had some good conversation, a good night on the town, and he's a burner, which is cool.

 

Allen and Anelya stayed at my place in New Orleans while they were moving across the country. The were great guests to host and they really know how to party

 

Met with Allan in Moscow, when he was visiting. Hooked up together, and spend some hours in one of my favorite Moscow lounges, having hookahs, drinking great tea and having good time :)

Allan is a totally cool dude, all into his web dev business and having good time. Totally into CS :)

Hopefully, one day we will end up living in San Francisco and coming over to each others places for hookahs and chill-out :)

Allan is one of those rare people searching for real answers. It is a pleasure to talk to him and to get to know him. He is a great person with a great heart.

 

Allan was a great host, although it seemed like he was constantly working he had plenty of time to show me some of Atlanta I probably would not have seen otherwise.

 

Allan did not surf with me, but we did meet up while he was in town and grab a few drinks. He's a great guy and we will definitely be in touch again.

The one night stay was really allstar - he is welcome back anytime!

 

Allan is a social and open guy and we would never run out of conversation topics. And it doesn't hurt that he knows his way around Atlanta including crazy birth day parties in the suburbs! If you are looking for a good time in Atlanta or wherever he is - contact him!

 

Allan and Anelya were my very first hosts and what an amazing experience! They were so friendly, so considerate, and so generous, it was hard to leave atlanta! With our fun loving and free spirited hosts, we had a fabulous time in the ATL! Even til today, surfing in atlanta was my favourite CS story to tell!

This is an excellent reference because it´s by me. Allan and his girlfriend Anelia were awesome hosts, showing us around and exposing us to the nightlife in Atlanta. They were very generous, and also loves having fun (i.e. playing practical jokes "Oh my god, they kidnapped Katherine!" haha) Definately a great first CS experience for me!

 

Allan and Anelya were on a spontaneous trip to Kauai. It was my pleasure that they surfed my couch off and on during their stay. They are welcome, anytime.

Allan has Southern hospitality, a Human touch and a Ukrainian Twist. I felt very much welcomed by him and his girlfriend right from the beginning. He has a comfortable couch also. Take care and good luck and all the best with your business.

Allen is the best. He can tell you anything you want to know about business and computers, blew me away. Kept us in the greens with all the love as well, my personal hero.

 

My 2 Russian daughters and I met with Allan and his girlfriend for ice cream and coffee in mid-town Atlanta. What a delightful ambitious young man with a great vision of this World. Any traveler would learn much to hear Allan's stories.

Alan rocked it with us at the CSC-MTL! Alan came all the way from Atlanta to Montreal for just a few short days to help resurrect CS during the crash. His help was extremely important in getting the site re-lanuched. Big thank you to him for that. Everyone enjoyed his presence here in Montreal... and we hope that he will have the time to come back and participate soon! Thanks again Alan!
