PINKFISH

 

There are so many things to love about Ms. Pink, I don't even know where to begin. She's a delight!

An awesome housemate and always up for something. You won't find a better person for enjoying balcony sunsets, tea and conversations. You would be so lucky as to travel with her.

Pinkfish is an extremely kind and appreciative guest. I felt comfortable leaving her at home alone when I was away. It was a great pleasure to spend time with her and having a nice Turkish dinner together.

Susie had me at "pink", but as if to make sure, she threw in so many flattering adjectives.

I miss her.

 

I met her during her cs collective arrangements in istanbul and showed her around my place in Üsküdar. As she had a task to do in istanbul besides sightseeing, and I also was having hectic times on my schedule we did not get together much but I believe I made a colourful friend (mostly pink, yeah) to keep in touch..doei!

I had a chance for some pinkfish loving since we stayed together under the same roof for about a month. We braved the streets of Istanbul together, listened to each others' dreams while sipping cay under the sun, cleaned and scrubbed the house, ranted and lamented and most of all, shared an amazing flowing energy that kept the blues away! Thanks for your friendship and everything else! I will see you, somewhere, someday. Count on that.

Open minded, inquisitive and a hard worker. All while in charge of organizing chaos for CS. I first experienced this expressive soul while badly dancing to techno music at Tent Surf the first night and saw someone getting into it pretty good whilst sporting a large pink cowboy hat. Needless to say our subsequently brief meeting were as memorable and interesting for me. I got to know her a little better when I visited at base camp and saw her in action. I hope we run into each other again.

Suzy and her friends were among the best guest i have had, shame they had to leave so soon.

I spied Pink Fish as she swam through Istanbul for the collective and it was so great, it felt asif we had known eachother for ages right away! She is a warm, caring and interesting person and personally i had a great time hanging out in İstanbul - and hopefully many more good times to come!

This lady matches her sharp wit with shamanic insight and though somewhat naturally punk rock in attitude is a total joy to be around.

I loved spending time with her. very easy to talk, a good listener, a pink fish! :)

Susy aka Pinkfish has a love for life. She is fun, inquisitive, very intelligent, caring and one of the coolest people to be around. I love her honesty and genuine concern for others. She is feminine and vulnerable yet fierce. She is all things Pink.

Pink Fish lives under the water and makes all the sea creatures smile! She's a wonderful person and all around awesome!

We were camping at the tentsurf for 4 days and well... we got pretty dirty and stinky lol. These fabulous people allowed us to use their shower so they're amazing in my book!!!!

 

Pink is an exceptional woman who is very smart, very wise, and incredibly young at heart. 21 with a looooooooooot of experience, as she likes to say. Also, she is incredibly resourceful, able to navigate within countries where she doesn't speak the language and get whatever she needs. I think that she is a mind ninja and it is wise not to underestimate her and her mind ninja powers. Getting to know her was a privilege and anyone else would be lucky to spend some time with her along her fantastic journeys.

 

i enjoyed with her my days in cs.campament. i didnt have a lot oportunitis for speak good, bud i think she is really open. pink its really solidarity and work with passion in this proyect....habla muy bien español!

Pink is the real deal. She is such a hard worker. She is always very open, friendly and has a great outlook. She is a great person and I would love to travel with her someday. She has been an incredible addition to my world.

Well, if youre ever lucky enough to meet PINKFISH, you would tell in no time, that life its pink around her, she is a very very good friend, one of those that will tell you things as they are, with the intention of making your life better, I had the great chance to be her roommate for some months, and we became very good friends.

 

Suzy has a great personality and is fun to stop and talk to. I didnt get to spend too much time talking to but the time I did stop and talk to her it was full of fun! I look forward to talking with her more when I visit SF!

Pink is a real character... We had fun getting to know eachother around a few drinking games (PS thanks for the vodka cranberry!) And I do have to agree that pink does like to encourage you to take off your shirt. She has a big warm heart and is great to have a chat with. Highly recommended for a couch surfing friend!!

Truly a beautiful person inside and out. Did I mention she's gorgeous? Note: the taking off of one's shirt is a requirement for long term friendship with pink . . . which is fine by me. I have nothing but love and respect for this amazing women and cannot wait to get to know her better in the future.

 

I met Susy out bowling in Denver before the TentSurf in Colorado.

We hung out around the campfire, watched a CS wedding and had a great weekend with CSers from around the country and world.

I'm looking forward to getting know Susy and others from the TentSurf down the road wherever we may meet again.

 

Where to start? Pink is always a ton of fun to be around. No matter what's happening, she'll be right there in the middle of it with a huge smile and her pink cowboy hat! Most of my CS adventures would not be the same if she hadn't been part of them.

I'm looking forward to many more awesome adventures to come!

Was a sweet ass neighbor at Tentsurf, always carrying her pink cup to match her hat! She would always say 'it took me a half hour to pick it out'... she is a beautiful woman, always seems to have a smile on her face!!

I got to spend several days in the presence of the famous Miss Pink at Base Camp in San Fran, and was constantly amazed by her upbeat personality, her gracious attitude, her comittment to CS, and her ability to snuggle REALLLY well! Can't wait to see her again.

 

Ahh Susy. :) Susy susy susy. ;) Words cannot describe this one. Susy found the wonderful house for the Collective in Costa Rica and kept it running for the first half of its life. She is a fun, almost electric personality who just wants to get up and dance at the sound of any good music. Being in her general area always seemed to bring on awesome, yet interesting situations. :) Definitely one of those people I feel I'll be friends with for a long time, and can reconnect with instantly if we lost touch. Pura Vida Susy!

 

She is the "Bee's nees!" with an aura of Beautiful Soul. Her accent will intrique you, and her Vodka will seduce you.

Pink is strong willed and very sweet - a combination that makes her an awesome friend to have. She's also tons of fun to hang out and get silly with. I love her heaps!

The woman is wild, wonderful, huggable, helpful, smart, sassy and looks amazing in an apron.

 

She was the house manager of the CS collective's house in Costa-Rica, and welcomed me in a nice way! We hang out together in Olas bar and spent great times with the others in the house during the time I was there. She's really funny and has a cute smile ;-)

Susy is awesome! She is a great spirit (and I would also say THE Couchsurfing spirit too:)who truly knows how to live and love life! I truly admired how well she deals with organizing the collective and still keeps her welcoming and joyful attitude. She is naturally unique, kind, friendly, funny and full of interesting stories.
I had so much fun at CS Costa Rica Collective, not just that the location and the house was beyond compare but because everyone was very friendly, helpful and fun. They didn't even let me pay for food, I couldn't have felt more welcome! Susy and I still have to go out dancing so hopefully I'll see her at the base camp soon!

Where to even begin... When Susy and I finally met, it was like meeting someone that I've known for years. She is a genuine, open, honest, straight-forward (although knows when to be reserved if necessary--ha ha) lady who enjoys going beyond the surface. Don't pass up a chance to spend some time with her! I met Suzy at a CS Telecommute back in September. She had just arrived to look for a location for basecamp. She was very kind, sweet, funny and worldly. I had seen her only a couple of times since then but she was always the same as the first time I met her...and although I am sad she is already leaving, I am glad to have met her and look forward to seeing her when she returns to San Francisco or if out paths happen to cross in my own travels.

I met Suzy at the CS HQ in Berkeley and am quite happy that I did! Hopefully I'll see you in Costa Rica too. She is a wonderful woman, I'm glad she is helping out, what an amazing scout! Maybe I'll get to Scout with you someday! Much love! <3

Suzy is a fun person with a good heart

 

Pink found us the beautiful house for the Alaska collective. She is a nice fellow dutch girl with a very explicit opinion on matters. We got along and bonded over the Dutch being the coolest crowd at the collective. We also signed up as partners for the gym, haha!

 

Susy is a great friend! She stayed with me for quite some time while looking for the CS basecamp and we also hung out at Burning Man! She was a total pleasure to spend time with and honestly I was sad to see her go!

 

Susy Pinkfish is a sweet, intricate, and deep person. More than meets the eye on this one and I learn more of her everytime I see her. We met through mutal friends in her trip to SF and have good talks. I'm happy to have her close to home.

 

I don't care how bad my day has been, when I see Susy I just smile from ear to ear! When I was the chef @ CS Base Camp, seeing her come in to the kitchen, sniffing like a little bear, just made my day! Lover and giver of hugs and words of wisdom, the best reference I can leave for her goes something like this: SUSY I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU SO FREAKING MUCH AND CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU AGAIN SOON! In the meantime, I'll be working on more yummy recipes for you. :)

Pink Fish was a great addition to our camp at Burning Man. Easy-going, laid-back, and warm.

 

I recognized Susy as a fellow Old Soul right away. Old Soul's are rare...especially Dutch ones! (smile!)

Pink is great. She was CSing at Walker's apartment at the same time I was. She has some fascinating experiences to share and is open, kind, warm, and very respectful and responsible. I enjoyed sharing with her and learning a little bit more about the big bad world.

Susy is one of those people who you can't help but like. She is very intelligent, witty, a knockout, and can read your personality in seconds. Looking forward to seeing her again in San Francisco!

 

Ooohhh, Pink! When she is good, she is supergood! But when she is "evil"... she is EVEN better!! Our Cowgrrls Mafia was too much fun to not reunite again! So... WATCH OUT, y'all!

Pink is great. She is curious and up for anything which means you'll probably have an adventure with her. One of the last times I saw her she was dressed like an old west outlaw on her way to kidnap some guy- unfortunately it was not me :-) I look forward to seeing her again.

A high quality individual of excellent character, full of altruism and optimism. Met her at many of the CS collectives and she's always a ray of sunshine in everyone's day.

Susy is one of the most wonderful people I've had a chance to meet. She came into my home at a very trying time for me and *made* me have a great time. She's great fun to be around and a great conversationalist. I'd highly recommend meeting with her, hosting her, or surfing with her. A+++++

 

I went to the CS collective BBQ. Pinkfish made me feel like I was a real part of the CouchSurfers. She told me all the cool things she was doing and what a great people we are. She is as close to to soul of couchsurfing as a person can get.

I love Susy.....she is so warm and caring. She is the kind of person you love to be around because she is Susy..... I felt so welcome at the collective because of her. I look forward to seeing her again!

 

Susy is wonderful! I met her while she was herding the kittens around Alaska and we've gotten to spend quality time together through CouchSurfing in San Francisco and through Skype calls to Costa Rica.

Susy is smart as a whip and deeply compassionate. I admire her loyalty and ability to stick up for what she believes is right. I am looking forward to learning more from this amazing woman in the months to come!

Susy and the people from couch surfing generously provide me a place to park my van for 2 weeks in Homer allown me to stay in their nice place and invite me to really good dinners in there compagny. Susy is a really sweet girl. I hope to see her and other peoples from the couch surfing collective but outside the collective to better know them. Thanks for everything.

 

We only met for a few hours - Pinkfish just arrived, I had to leave but I hope we'll meet somewhere again!

I love Susy. She and I first met at the Thai Collective, where she inspired me by her relentless dedication to the CouchSurfing Project. Later, she surprised me by driving cross country to visit me in Wisconsin. It was a true pleasure hosting her as a CouchSurfer! More than that, though, her kind spirit touched me deeply and I am forever grateful that our paths crossed.

Any CouchSurfer would be lucky to host or be hosted by her.

Good to hear from Pinkfish from time to time. The woman is not to be held back, tireless searching the globe over for yet an other fine place to hold a CS gathering - the one held here in Homer, Alaska was a new experience for me - I did meet a nice bunch of interesting folks from many different countries.

I was in Pai on her birthday and got to celebrate with her and the Collective at a great party! She is open to new friends, fun and adventures.

There is just one advice I can give you when you meet Suzy, just "Be yourself". Even before you complete your sentence, she knows exactly what you mean. This master mind in human psychology is an ironic combination of compassion and the toughness. She can beat the boys and inspire the girls. I love her and can't wait to see her sooooooooooooooon ;)

Prepare for the Pink Explosion!!!!
This girl dances like a whirlwind and buys a mean cup of coffee. From being embarrassed in liquor stores to learning hand drums, we had only ONE awkward moment of silence! Then we went back to laughing hysterically. Even when disappointed, this lady is graciousness personified.

Let this lady in, it's worth it.

You can tell a lot about a person by the way others mention them and keep them in the back of their mind. Every time anyone saw something in pink in a shop they'd always say how nice it would be for Susy.

Well respected by all, direct and honest she wasn't just a friend to everyone but a member of the family.

 

Susy explores the globe spreading kindness and pink in her wake. One might even say she has a good...'energy'.

Susy was my caretaker after a motorbike accident had me on crutches. If you meet her, don't let her leave without a good hug, she gives the best!

 

Pinkfish has been a delight to host. She is easy going, straightforward, and has good travel stories. She even helps wash the dishes and the dogs! Her quest to find a new collective location has been interesting to watch, and I've been impressed with her professional approach. I hope she chooses to have the gang come to Homer!

 

I appreciate Susy for everything she is – someone who is not afraid to speak her mind, dance to the beat of her own drum, staying sensitive to the needs of those around her and a person who values true, genuine connection with fellow travellers on the path. Oh, and she is also a hell of a lot of fun! Quirky, sexy, playful and sincere – you’d be a fool to pass up the opportunity of meeting this gorgeous woman!

 

Pinkfish is one of those impressively compassionate and direct people that you wish you could be more like. She totally tells it like it is with a gigantic heart, & you get a sense that she understands humans even more than she lets on. She'll spend time with you when you're sick just so you don't feel alone, & generally looks after you when you think she's not watching. Besides that, her sass-factor is through the roof - she puts those pinstripes to work! Definitely host or surf with this wonderful woman.

Icertainly admired her willingness to come to a strange place and set about organizing living space for the next collective. We had a long ranging communication, and I will be seeing her again at an Anchorage meet on April 12.

 

Suzy would make an excellent spy, in the best of ways. A Charlie's Angels-type spy with sunglasses and a hot miniskirt. She's always laughing and cracking jokes, but also acutely aware of the dynamics and emotions hidden beneath the surface of the collective. What I'm saying is that she's a dimepiece layer, a smooth operator. I'm not entirely sure what that means, but ask Suzy, I'm sure she does.

 

Pink arrived in Anchorage to scout locations for the next CS Collective. She's an easygoing, fun, and independent person!

It's been a lot of fun hanging out with PINKFISH :) I'm learning more about couchsurfing and makes me want to up and joint the collective too! She's a lot of fun to be around. Super laid back.

Susy was a wonderful mentor while I volunteered at the CS Collective in Thailand. There's no question that she is a true CS supporter and has devoted so much of herself to the CS community. Pinkfish and I have spent many hours sipping coffee and sharing our thoughts on social dynamics! She is a gifted with insight into the psychology of human relationships. I can count on her to be honest and direct, which is why we get along so well. Of course, she also has her "pink" side - sweet, funny, and a little bit crazy...

 

I love Pinkfish, seeing her active nature full of enthusiasm and courage. She seems to be always self conscious and aware of what is happening around her! I just started to get to know her but she seems already like a good old friend!

I am thankful to have had influence from this mother;lover;protector;friend and spiritual teacher.
She is as real as they get in the most refreshing way...If she had the time to touch the world...well, the world would be a different place.

A person with a mission, highly dedicated, fun, open-minded, spiritual, very sociable. She knows what she wants and goes for it.

 

The first moment I met Susy, her personality rubbed me the wrong way and I didn't think we would get along at all. Oh how wrong I was! As I slowly got to know her in Thailand our friendship began to build. By the time we finished our road trip in the US through 11 states in under 2 weeks our relationship was solid. Susy is an analytical soul always working for the greater good. There aren't many people in this world I treasure as much as PinkFish.

 

Met Pinkfish in Parkheuvel. Good you can meet CS's anywhere, its only the question how you can recognise each other as such! Its nice talking to her as she is smart, curious and very dedicated to the CS organisation. We had a nice lunch together, than she left for the Thai collective and we stayed in touch by e-mail. But when will we meet again?)

 

Susy is an awesome host! She cooked me dinner and let me use her neat dutch vaccuum, vroooom vroooom! She´s a very interesting and intelligent woman to talk with. she has a very free flowing mind and spirit. I hope we cross paths again one day.

I really enjoyed surfing with Pinkfish as we have alot in common, we seem to be on the same level in life which resulted in us having some good girlie chats especially about men and the universe hehe.
My stay felt like I had had a great girlie weekend with a friend who I had known for ages with gossip & getting ready to hit the town.
I will never forget our fine dining experience at Parkovel which was a culinary delight, we nearly proposed to the chef for his amazing efforts and asked for his hand in marriage too after many glasses of supurb wines when he visited our table!!!
Pinkfish also had the day off to show me round Rotterdam which was really nice of her as her city is very interesting, I look forward to our next get together, and dont forget the sassy girl power!!!

Think of a butterfly, a burst of pink dancing in the air. If she lands on your hand for a moment it´s magical, vibrant and intense. After she has gone your soul will be touched..

I was impressed by Susy from the moment I met her and this has been confirmed time and time again. She is flowing with so much positivity and has a strong drive to make the world a better place. She is an active listener and really posed many interesting questions over lunch. I really enjoyed hearing about her life journey and her travel adventures.
