Hello, my name is Qori, an entrepreneur who sells sponge cakes every day. I like learning and discussing various cultures with new people here to understand human view and different perspective that might bring new to the table of my thought, that's why I am on Couchsurfing.

Couchsurfing is a good medium to connect like-minded people around the world. Its not only for travelers, but also for learners who want to meet and interact with people in real life locally and globally.
And that what makes Couchsurfing different and unique than any other platform.

I am currently being trusted as local ambassador for Banjarmasin city where I manage and introduce what Couchsurfing is toward everyone who need to know more about being involved in community where sometimes I create events for meet-up and gathering weekly or monthly.

I am easy-going, talkative (even sometimes talk too much), enthusiastic for something new, and likes to listen anyone thought about anything that matter from people that spark discussion. Anyway, Qori is taken from Arabic language which means "The Reader", because of this, love reading books, and therefore I like to put Reader on the last name.

I had many Couch surfing (Both surfing and hosting) experiences where I was really active involving myself into the local community. I helped Couch surfing members in South Borneo by hosting or throwing event such meet-up, gathering, and membership advice. (You can see my events and activities on my picture gallery)

Currently, I am not doing it anymore due my business and dedicated my time for work, but sometimes I throw some meet-ups occasionally if there is any traveler who come to my city.

Books: I collected some physical books such as novel and non-fiction with heavy themed even though I have more than 100 gb of various books from different fields that I've got from Internet, and still I don't have much time to finish it all because it probably takes for hundred years to read them. Video Game and Board Game: I like playing video game more than three things I wrote above. Gaming is something that I would choose to enjoy my spare time, its combination of music, movies, and literature. I really enjoy great narrative and how this medium have interactive to learn something adventure, how to simulate something, and problem solving in playing strategy games on PC. I include this hobby because if you are a gamer, we will spend hours to discuss about video game culture.
