Katri Itkonen

We stayed in Katri’s place for three nights. She was a great host. She came to train station to pick us up, made a comfortable bed, and so on. It was such a great time chatting with her. She is so lively, smart and having clever viewpoint to any kind of topic, that you never feel bored and you can always learn something from her talks. The joke of “how to tell the races of people from their looking” was really funny. :p
She was also a thorough girl that she found something I forgot immediately after we left.:)

Huh, Amazing lady! We hugs, give hugs. It was really nice experience to pop-up in an activity where to never know anyone.

We go the the same school but never met there ;-).

Hope next time I can join you to make a peaceful noise in the very serene city of Helsinki

Katri saved me from the cold streets of Helsinki. With no place to stay late at night, she offered me to surf her place while she went to work the night shift.

The next day she was a bit tired, but we continued telling bad jokes anyways. We teased each other about the quality of the swiss public transport system vs. the finnish(ed), spent time on Suomenlinna, walked around a lot in the city, cooked, cleaned dishes (well, I did..)-

I was never unchallenged and have felt welcome from the first minute. And we'll see about the chocolate... I've heard finnish border controls are quite harsh ;)

Katri is a very warm and accomodating host. She would do anything to make you feel comfortable at home. Even offered her bed to us and she slept on the couch. For all those tired travellers, you will not find a better host and a more lovely lady who will even go to the train station to pick us up. Nothing more you need in a foreign land than a Katri. She certainly gets an A+++ from us.

Katri is a wonderful host, very chatty and full of life. she actually offered me a couch because she could see I needed one, which shows what a generous person she is.

We shouldn't tell our mamas but Katri brought me pie and bailed me out of jail in Helsinki! Hahahaha... I had a great time with her, especially loved the tour of Helsinki rollercoasters!!! I only hope to be as much fun when she is down under!

Katri is a very talkative, lively, bubbly and vibrant girl with a large amount of opinions. She really likes to organize things so if you don´t know what to do or where to go in Helsinki, she´ll find it out for you. :)

Katri has a very nice apartment near to center. If you want to make your breakfast (or her to cook it for you ;)) in a purple kitchen with "seaside view" this is a right choice!

Katri is the host to be at. I had a great time with her she really helped me out in this new town, and it was so cool to go and see the town with such a good guide and friend.

Katri is an amazing girl, intelligent, smart, easy going with a good sence of humor. Unfortunatly we met her only for couple of hours in Helsinki but hopefully will couch Katri in Russia one day!

You need only few minutes to understand that Katri is a big-heart, kind and friendly person!!!

Katri hosted my during my stay of two days in Helsinki. She is very kind, nice and easygoing person. Always smiling and talking. She is one of the best turistic guides in the city :) She showed me the city explaining patientlly what we where whatching.

I was very lucky to surf with Katri. She offered up her very comfy couch and took time so we could get to know each other. Whether we were touring around, going out on the town, or just chilling out, Katri made me feal like I was spending the weekend with a long time friend. Thanks Katri!!!

Katri was an absolutely amazing host; staying with her was more like staying with a friend than with a couchsurfing host. She knew that I didn't have much money, so she looked for activites that were fun while still being inexpensive, things like a boat trip to an island fortress and a picnic at the beach. The whole time I stayed with her, she was so easy to talk to, so open and friendly. Staying with her was the number one reason that I had such a great time in Helsinki. You're welcome to St. Charles anytime... you will just have to pretend to be a gun carrying conservative republican if my Dad asks you what you are doing in the house.

A very nice and down-to-earth as a host, and makes you feel like home. The apartment is in a good position. And with a "view to the sea" ;)
