Jim Stone

jim its a really fun person. with him i ejoided the pride. diring my state in the base camp, he always was really friendly. thanks for all.

I met Jim through my husband Gadget. Since then he has surfed at my home and helped me move to basecamp! Jim is tons of fun, very laid back and a fellow Texan, what more needs to be said?

I met Jim on the second day of Tentsurf '09 during the wacky drinking game. Instead of drinking, I opted to photograph the wackiness instead. I wish I had more time to get to know Jim. He's a warm person and a good listener. Happy travels, Jim!

 

I cooked a meal for everyone during the camp out. So Jim gave me a kiss on the cheek.
The other cheek was jealous.

 

I met Mr. Jim bowling in Denver late one night the week before the TentSurf in Colorado.

We talked a bit, probably cheersed a few. Great to see organization coming back to Colorado to hang out and do it the way we do it.

It went down like this: between hangovers and good conversations, I look to my right, and there is Jim, rolling out of his tent with a headlamp and bunny ears still on, still donning the bathrobe from the night before. After that, I knew we would be instant friends. He is CouchSurfing in every aspect, and I would love to jump into his great hugs again someday!

 

Jim and his group of friends were killer to have around. Although they were only able to stay for one night, they were a polite and open minded group. True CSers. Jim was a really chill guy, and was great to have a glass or so of wine with. Anyone of these CSers are welcome back whenever they please. Cheers.

Jim is easy company and up for anything! He's the most interesting professional guest I know.

 

I don't really know what I was expecting when I met Jim...but he certainly managed to shatter all of whatever notions I had, and made me just want to give him a big hug. He is a fun, crazy, delightful, to-the-point, and cool guy. He also has some pretty rad dance moves ;)

Jim Stone. Well, after living and working with him for a long time, driving from Alaska to Burningman - generally spending way to much time in each others company, I can say that this man never lets you down.

If you say lets go do something, he is out the door. If you have nothing to do, he has a list a mile long. He knows someone everywhere and always has a smile on his face. He truly cares about people and will go out of his way to make sure everyone enjoys themselves. Get to know him.

I heard of Jim long before I met him, so when I made it out to San Francisco, meeting him was my mission, and he doesn't disappoint. He's a fun, affable guy who truly reflects the spirit of Couchsurfing, of which his influence is most apparent. I hope we get to meet up again soon, be it in Berkeley, Miami, or some far off place.

I was a zombie, but he didn't say anything about it.

Thanks again to all the Couchsurfing Base Camp people for letting me couchsurf on random night! I very much enjoyed playing the witch, priest, and detective game! Very amusing!

Sometimes you meet someone and the second you cross paths, you absolutely love 'em instantaneously. No doubt Jim has one of the most beautiful souls on the planet! Can't wait to see you at Burning Man, amigo...muah!

 

Are you kidding! Jim is so amazing and selfless when it comes to keeping the whole system running. He is a dear friend, a colleague and I could not recommend anyone for a hosting or surfing experience any more. Do yourself a bog favor, get to know Jim.

I stayed at the collective, and everyone was great. He set me up with a bed, linens and we chatted a few times.

Jim is funky, fun, and generally a complete sweetheart. He lives in a super pink bedroom and I think that says a lot about him. Overall, a great guy who marches to the beat of his own drum and someone that I would love to get to know better.

 

Jim is a great person, calm but funny, I hope to spend more time with him in the future!

 

Jim is hilariously funny, sweet, adventurous, and open to new ideas. We have had some great chats and fun adventures. He is the red couch of couchsurfing, so you have to meet Jim!

 

If memory serves me correctly, I've met Jim twice: at both parties basecamp has had thus far. The age on his profile may read 31 but in my opinion, he's ageless. The enthusiasm of a youth coupled with the wittyness and quirkiness of an old soul sums up my impression. He was a ton of fun both times I've seen him and anybody whose ear he has (including myself) were treated to an awesome convo. Here's to more good times ahead, dude! :)

Jim is a great guy, a real CS team member, it was a pleasure to meet him and get to interact with the crew in Berkeley; I was quite impressed at how busy and involved everyone was. I'd highly recommend meeting him if you get the chance. Hope to run into you again!

Jim and I met in Europe, through CS when it was just a baby :) Several countries/couches/hitchhiking trips/states and beers later we're still in touch and swapping couches. A pleasure to know him and can't wait to see him again :)

 

I had a blast partying with Jim. Definitely a free spirit with a wealth of knowledge to offer on the CS community. He was very down to earth and he even gave me a foot rub!

Jim is a great guy & a great host. He was only too happy to host me & Jenny & made us feel right at home right away. Jim is funny, has a very chilled out, welcoming attitude & within the first day of meeting him i felt as though i'd made a friend.

Jim has an infectious passion for life. He is a warm and caring guy that exudes calm and creates a peaceful vibe. He also gives really good hugs. While in Alaska Jim and I caught a few halibut in bouncy waters with a captain from hell. What a day- See you again Jim.

Had a blast with Jim at the Alaska Collective. Very much appreciated the tour of Homer on the first night. Also very much appreciated the lending of the fuzzy red costume during the BBQ. Looking forward to hanging out with Jim again! (Though perhaps I will refrain from fuzzy clothing next time:P)

Me and Jim had an experience on a boat unlike no other while fishing out of Homer Alaska, I could try to explain accept you'd think I was crazy.

I was hoping to meet up with Jim in Australia years ago... but it just never happened. I finally got the chance when he showed up at my place for the mini collective in Quincy. And then there was decomp... and Retox...and dancing.. and brunches...and random-meant-to-be meetings on the streets of SF. And then all of a sudden we were living together in the southern hemisphere (NZ). And then we were back in Cali, creating more wonderful memories. And then there was Thailand... and soon we were back in SF, again, having amazing experiences. do you see a pattern developing?! We can't stay away from each other! And, what would be fun about that. I Can't wait for the next round!So anyhooo..Where are you you Jim Stone?!

Jim is a thoughtful fellow who is easy to spend time with.

 

I love spending time with Jim and reveling in his compassionate nature and charming personality. Everyday I see how much passion he has for making CouchSurfing great and all the hard work he has dedicated to this community. CouchSurfing aside, Jim is truly an amazing person and I feel so lucky to have gone out for that "one" drink that turned into a life changing experience.

Jim was my very first point of contact with the Thai collective. After chatting to him on the phone before going to Thailand I knew he'd be an awesome person to hang with and once I got there was more then proven right. A definite modern day gentleman who was always looking out for the well being of others.

 

Jim saved my life from the evil flying monkeys who tried to plant drugs on me and throw me off the cliffs of Thailand. And that ain't no small endeavor. It is an utter travesty that the scale here stops at Extremely Positive. If it went a few notches higher, I would choose the flashing and blinking one that has Mr. T jump out of the screen, grab you by the collar and say "I pity the fool who don't know Jim Stone!" If you don't, get ON it.

Despite the fact that I didnt see Jim when he was in BKK, to meet him in one of my fav town, SF, is one of the memorable things for me for my B-day trip:)Jim is so hugable and really, i mean, really kind!!I'm so glad I finally met the guy and yet, cook for him and our friends before I left SF!!Eventhough I didnt see the famous Pooh costume, his hugs are still warm and make me feel like i am hugging the Pooh Bear:)

Mr. Stone the dude with the cool pants randomly showed up to a party I hosted in San Fran. The dude can party all night, yet keeps chilled cool calm vibe with him throughout the night. Champagne and Vodka in Alaska sometime this year my friend (Well just Vodka for me!)

I’m not sure there is much more I can add here that can further convince you that Jim is most definitely someone you want to meet in your lifetime, but I’ll give it a good try! This guy is fun personified – he is someone who will make the effort to connect with those around him and he spreads the CS spirit around the globe with ease. My time at the Thai Collective wouldn’t have been the same without him – he inspired me to work harder, challenged me to party harder and just generally brightened up each day with his antics and stories. Love ya Jim!

 

Who wouldn't want to be a friend of the Red Couch Guy?--who's looking pretty Thai these days....I'd first had interaction with Jim when I asked to be considered for a leadership position and to join the Thai Collective, and he invited me to a related working group. As my own work ultimately precluded my becoming a team coordinator or attending the Collective, I was thrilled to find that Jim would be passing through Seoul as he Collective-hopped (from Thailand to Alaska--now, that's a switch!), and that I'd have another chance to meet him. Over lunch we had fabulous conversation about both CS and Korea, and I was pleasantly surprised to meet Tech Jeff as well! Jim, I hope our paths cross again before long, and that we get to know one another much better. Best of everything to you!

 

Made me want another surfer soon! It was great having Jim around, so easy and fun. Oddly, when Jim was around I talked a little more and stayed up a little later. Surfing is about the people as much as the places. He is so personable if he comes this way again, my friends have alrady invited him to stay with them...over my dead body.

Jimis a very concentrated person with a lot of clear energies.

 

Jim is smiley and loves the Jameson. He has introduced me to the wonders of meat on a stick, and has been gracious enough to share his ant covered cookies.

 

Jim is dependable, hard-working, and tremendous fun to spend time with! I can't imagine what the Thai Collective would have been like without him--he is such an integral part of the richness of that experience for me, it's nearly impossible to separate. I trust Jim whole-heartedly, and I anxiously await the day he sleeps on my couch in Wisconsin!

I met Jim by happenstance when he drove past me looking for another CouchSurfer at the bus stop in Pai, Thailand. This guy has a great outlook on life and I ardently subscribe to his belief in long, open-ended travel. He is an ideal guest, travel companion, friend, you-name-it. I'd vouch for Jim ten times over. Thanks again for the lift Jim!

 

From what I know of Jim, I like of Jim. At the same time, I admit what I know of Jim isn’t much. One thing I can say is he looks dead sexy to me in his sombrero picture on the CS Thailand collective wall. Another thing I can say is I never heard him complain, even during the most deadly of Thailand-Tummy sickness. I hope we meet again Jim ;)

I am 99.9% sure that I wrote Jim a reference back when he stayed with me in 2005, so perhaps it disappeared in the crash of CS version 1. Anyhoo, while he may not need any more references as far as quantity goes, I want to write another now, as this guy was my first couch surfer. His visit was such great fun, and he was such a friendly and interesting person, that I thank him for setting the tone for all of my future CS encounters.

Great energy, great to talk to. You will be delighted if you come across Jim in your travels.

Jim's become someone I'm fond of seeing appear and reappear in and around my life. A fun, easygoing, surprising person, he's also a big help in Cs V.V. stuff as well.

Jim stayed at my place for one night..

Jim was great company when we met in Roanoke. After being encouraged to contact him, a fellow passer-through of Roanoke, he called me and we hung out for the night, along with other folks. After everyone else had taken off, he shuttled me around to show me the town, and though he had an early morning obligation, hung out with me till midnight until I caught my departing bus. Great guy!

 

Jim is an very easygoing guy. We had a lot of laughter at Walters place, while running the CSC.

Needless to say: Jim is one of the top-active persons in CS, which is highly appreciated. You're always welcome in Rotterdam!

 

The way Jim carries himself makes an impression on everyone he comes near. I enjoyed all the times I speant with him, telling stories, sharing meals, and loving life. Jim lives his life and loves every seccond of it. Oh, and he is the conundrum master.

 

Although Jim didnt stay with my in Vegas (I didnt read my email in time to say yes to him) - I invited him out to moon nightclub that night, to experience the full on ' vegas experience'.
Jim is a VERY cool guy - I guess im not the first person to say this though. He was the one who told me about burning man. Although i had heard of it, i had never really thought of going to it - however jim convinced me that i should go, and i went - and i LOVED it. I would NOT have gone if I hadnt of met Jim, so I am very thankful that i met him.

 

Jim Stone, he surfed my apartment during the RCSC there. We had some good nights out and soem nice talks. Jim is a solid guy with a heart of gold! I admire people who try to pick up skills (programming in particular here) and give their best to get good at it! Without him CS wouldn't be what it is today!

We had an old fashion pow wow. He is one of the OG's of couchsurfing. There are a few people on this site everyone knows as speaks well of and Jim Stone is truly one of couchsurfing's glitterati.

Jim is a truly adventurous soul. I really enjoyed listening to tales of his travels and what outfits he wore during these times. (I would love to have seen a Pooh Bear running around Curry Village). I may have beat him in the first Scrabble game, but he killed me in the second so a tie breaker is in order. Thank you for coming at the last minute and sharing my last weekend in Yosemite with me. I had a wonderful time.

 

Yay! After BM 07, I bumped into Jim again with Ben at the deep end, 08... minus the wild goggles! Hopefully our paths will cross again soon. If not within the year, I sincerely hope to see him back home in 09!

I was in a serious bind at the end of Burning Man. I needed to transport all my gear from our camp to our ride home's camp on the other side of Black Rock City. Jim came through in a pinch and lent me his pickup, no questions asked. Very cool! And it helped me out a ton. Later, we got to ride out to the trash fence together on an art car. Jim's a really nice guy.

 

this guy is a riot. very amusing:) the more i see jim, the more he grows on me. I hope he sticks around sf. jim feels like long lost family:)

 

very glad to have met jim! jim stayed with me twice in july. he was a gracious guest, a thoughtful confidant and shared the practical side of traveling, which i hope to put to use. on the back of his bike, i saw parts of my city i rarely thought about. he was nice enough to let me win three rounds of pool and cook a dinner that lasted for days. i thoroughly enjoyed hosting and spending time with jim and hope to meet up with him at some point for some hitching.

 

Jim's a rockstar who is also on fire. I met this dude at his birthday and was totally blown away by his energy. Long live JIM STONE!

I first met Jim in Montreal, then again in California and New Zealand.

I don't agree with many things Jim writes (while on CouchSurfing's paycheck), but I have respect for the fact that he's writing them openly.

I am sorry for the trouble I caused him (and that I might be causing in the future) and the negativity that I fired at him, but I sincerely hope we can be friends again, some day.

+ We had some good times working and hanging out together in (way too many ;) CS collectives in the past year, and I felt very welcome on my stays at the house up the hill. I totally appreciate all the work Jim has done and is doing for CS, and see him as a great volunteer & employee for this organization.

- However, I do not enjoy him doubting my integrity in public without sound reasoning, or observing the (also recent) treatment towards other past volunteers who both of us worked with for months on end. For this reason, spending time on his couch would at this time be somewhat challenging for me.

= Nevertheless, I wish you the best of luck with the new job, and hope it works out for you and CS. I still hope to consider you as a friend, and meet again one day with less bitter feelings (from both sides)

We love Jim. Whenever he showed up with his little bunny ears or Elvis outfit smiles appeared on our faces. He's a great guy to be around and burning man wouldn't have been the same for us without him.

We really hope to meet up with him again on our travels and will totally go out of our way to see him again!

I like his purple toes and finger nail! He was a very gracious guest and was a perfect gentleman the whole time. I would host him again any time.

 

Somehow he has this magic to make me feel happy instantly. I don't know if it is his sexy Elvis looks, his electrifying and inspiring presence, his considerate and comforting being, or just his hands on my back. Or all of it packed in this wonderful beautiful human being. I love this guy and want to make him smile as much as possible :-)

 

I met Jim while washing the dishes in the Montreal collective and we finaly got to know more each other little by little with the milion of rides he gave me in his Texas truck =) and when he surfed my couch. And then more when we met again in SF and on our impromptu road trip to Mexico. Jim has a really special something that makes him an extraordinary person. Maybe it's the fact he chose a life that has nothing to do with the commun pattern or maybe it's because he is so involved in everything he does... but he is unforgettable .
You definitly have to meet this professionnal vagabond and ask him for a ride in his truck. Can't wait to see you again =)

A great traveler and a good person

Jim is one of the core members of CS, participating with technical and practical knowledge as well as being easy going and friendly.

 

Jim is great! I LOVE HIM just for the colored nails he had and the bows he allowed me to put in his hair. Glorious to have fun with and big San Francisco's lover!

 

We spent a very pleasant hot afternoon eating, drinking, thrift shopping, walking, and telling stories around South Street to pass the time. To say Jim is a seasoned world traveler would be an understatement.

 

I met Jim on a CS meeting in Rotterdam. It was great to meet one of the first couchsurfers, Jim really puts a lot of effort in the CS Project. He's a very easy going person who definitely knows how to enjoy life and good company. Hope to meet him again in the States or anywhere else on the globe.

I heard alot about this RedCouchGuy on my travels. I just missed meeting Jim in New Zealand and I co-surfed with a girl that talked highly about him. So I jumped at the chance to have lunch with him in Philly when he posted about his flight being delayed. I really enjoyed spending the day with him and was pleased to be able to save him from the boredom of the airport. I hope to see him again in my travels and spend more time swapping stories.

 

I miss Jim Stone so much. He's been like a Teddy Bear for me haha (we all love Teddy) Always fun to hug, fun to cook for, fun to talk with while sitting on his red couch, fun to ride with, to go camping with, Jim is one of those magic person who can make you forget how much you're tired with a wink. Jim is a great Texas traveller. Next time bring your red couch!!! He stayed with us just for one night, but we had a great time sharing travel stories and envying his lifestyle! I hope to meet up with him again in some grand foreign country that is full of plastic couches!!!

It took a few years, but Jim finally made it to my couch in Wellington. Jim and his friend Kristen were wonderful guests, and it was a lot of fun showing them around town. Which country will we run into each other next?

I had been following the RedCouchGuy's amazing CS journeys for almost a year before I finally got to meet him in NZ. He's every bit the legend - lots of fun and just an amazing guy!

Jim rocks! I cherish those mornings back in Montreal watching the sun rise on the back porch when both of us couldn't sleep... So wonderful getting closer with you! Finally he made it out to SF and we traveled together to Portland in one of the best road trips ever. Now, in New Zealand, we've shared some epic moments, including encounters with dolphins and killer whales.
I know I can always count on Jim to bring a smile and a warm hug. He's good peeps!

Jim Stone was my very personal guide as we climbed to the moon on my cherry poppin night at my virgin experience of Burning Man. The last I had seen him we were bushwhacking our way through some urban jungle to crash a hot tub party in New Zealand. And then I bumped into him 2 years later on a couch at the Lost Penguins in Black Rock City. I can't think of a better person with whom to share the expansion of my world view. And he has an amazingly fabulous furry purple coat. And he gives GREAT hugs. Missing you terribly Jim!!! Can't wait to nudge our paths into another joyous collision course as soon as possible!!

We spend many days moving furniture, social pioneering, watching Entourage, tearing up Chico, plotting the next take over, & burnin mama's house down. I was excited to meet such a cool dude! He has a lot of awesome stories to tell and an interesting way to tell them!

We met in a café in Venice 2001 while traveling. Think we had bacon and eggs and coffee. Or was it a croissant? Lost him for some years until I saw him in CNN:s article about couchsurfing recently.

Welcome anytime! Jim came & stayed with me for a few days in Sydney whilst he was travelling around Australia. I have no hesitation in recommedning him as a fellow CS. He was friendly, easy going, laid back, polite & independent. He will be coming to stay again for a couple of days in January before he goes to New Zealand & I am glad we have become friends. Always welcome here :)

 

We had a great time together in Ohio of all places-- eating, drinking Kombucha and whiskey (not together), thrift shopping, playing with TerriLou's cats, swapping stories and of course taking photos of the red couch! Update: We met up again in CA and had inspiring conversation under the stars...

 

Jim & his friend were on their way into Mexcio and needed a place to store their bikes. With the help of my friend, that I'm renting a room from, I was. It was great to meet Jim and am very much looking forward to seeing this big traveller again & getting to know him better.

 

Didn't get to hang out much with Jim at the Montreal collective during my short week there, but I do know that he's a solid individual and generally good to have around. We'll meet again soon, Jim!

Jim stayed at my flat in Prague for few days during his trip in Europe. Hope to meet him again one day.

Jim is self-sufficient, open-minded, grounded, trust-worthy, and always ready to hit the road in search of more adventure. I will always have a super burrito with cheese and guacamole and a spinich tortilla in my pocket for him, and yes, we will go merrily searching for that afterafterafterafter party!

Scrabble. He contacted me at the last minute, we played some scrabble and I hooked him up with a photo shoot with a gator and a snake. Life is good. Cool guy, fun conversation.

Happy trails, Jim! Jim couchsurfed with me for a couple of days before he flew out to New Zealand. He patiently allowed me to pick his brain on everything from travel to blogging. I just wish he had a few days more, there's so much more I wanted to show him around here but didn't get a chance. Thanks for some great advice and a fun couple of days, Jim - you are proof positive what a great concept couchsurfing is!

 

Jim stone is a party animal of epic proportions, it's been great staying at the collective with him.

Jim is a great guy to hang out with and he taught me some things about working your way around the world. I would recommend meeting him to anyone.

I love this man.... I am still waiting for him to play the drums for me though... What a great scrabble team we make....unbeatable! Sitting by the campfire watching other couchsurfers dance...any time Jim...anytime....

Jim's adventures reminded me of my own desire to live outside the box and inspired me to take action! He's a funny, intelligent, warm spirit. I hope to see him again somewhere out there!

Two other CS volunteers and I joined Jim for a concert in one of those cramped joints you'd find in NYC's Alphabet City. I think Jim is an easy going and very approachable guy. Wish I had spent more time at the Collective. Jim seems to have a particular ability to motivate people.

 

This is my boy... he's an All Star friend... top ten for sure. Hell of a worker, hell of a drinker, and a hell of a skeptic to boot... that's why he is the CS mascot. See you in TX, CA, and NZ someday soon.

Jim is too cool for school-- or at least cool enough to have a really cool inflatable red couch and travel alllll over with it, which is super-inspiring to me, as I REALLY REALLY want to travel so much more! I met him at the CouchSurfing Collective in Montreal, but didn't really get to to talk to him too much about his life and travels, as we were all working crazy amounts. However, I did get the overall sense that he's super-laid-back (which is great), people-friendly (of course!), a positive thinker, and a fun person...He is THE red couch guy, after all.

Nothing but good times with Jim. Great mover, if you ever need one. And one hell of a vagabond.

 

Jim is a tranquile, yet friendly and laid-back person.
It didn't take too long before we started talking about different games like pool, chess or scruble.
I was so glad to realise that someone also had an urge to excercise their mental muscle that way.

Jim came thru Roanoke many of times and have actually connected the local couch surfers together. He was our vey first couch surfer...floor surfer actually. We've enjoyed every visit with him and always had lots of laughters listening to his stories.

My very first guest. Jim was the very first person I hosted from couchsurfing. It was really nice to meet him since by the time he came to my place he had already had many experiences CF in Europe. He had a lot to share. He is still going on surfing around the world. I think one day he will set some sort of amazing record.
But remember to come back to sunny Italy before the lake disappear!!!!!

 

"Make sure to turn on your lights if you're going to fly down Comm Ave!". Jim was my first-ever Couch Surfer, and I'm glad that he was: He was a considerate, fun guest and I greatly enjoyed having him stay with me. Jim's always welcome in Boston or wherever I end up next. Hopefully my Four Square skills will improve by the next time we meet!

Come back to Myrtle Beach!! It isn't very often that you can find someone who appreciates ALL of the positive things surrounding them. It was really great talking about the accomplishments and dreams that can be achieved through the kindness of strangers. Most people are driven by fear and choose paths to avoid such a confrontation in their mind, and so they never come to fully understand the giving nature of the human spirit. If you have a moment, when hosting Jim... listen to a story or two and you'll see all the wonderful things that can not only happen for him, but also for yourself! Be adventurous and see where the kindness of strangers can take you. It's the most eye-opening way to see the world... and couchsurfing is a great start! Thanks Jim, It's easy to remember stories when you're sharing them, but sometimes... it's just nice to be reminded of our good fortune!

 

I met Jim as he passed through Atlanta on his cross country adventure. I helped him organize a meet-up with some local CS members. I enjoyed hanging out with him and listening to his stories. He's welcome in Atlanta any time!

This amazing guy is really good at living life to its fullest. He even took a swim in the dark and cold Saint Lawrence river, minutes before sunrise in Québec city... great and BRAVE guy! I can't have enough of his hugs!

Jim's a cool, laid back traveller from Texas. Jim stayed several nights at my apartment in Vienna, and I can vouch for him as a cool, courteous guest. Check out his story at fliptophead.com - he's been travelling since March, 2004. Awesome!

 

He stayed in my aft cabin! Jim stayed in the aft cabin of my sailboat for six nights. While he managed to accidently set his personal motorcycle on fire during his visit, he was very considerate about my boat. Heck, he even FOLDED THE SHEETS AND BLANKETS he'd been using in the aft cabin before he left. None of my visiting friends or family EVER does this! I consider Jim to be a very considerate CouchSurfer and also a personal friend. He's welcome aboard Candide anytime.

 

Very nice guy. We missed him just the next day after he left us :-)

He is a very nice person!! Jim stayed with us for 3 days. He is a really gentleman: he was the only one that helped the old mother of a friend of ours to go downstairs taking her! And he slept in our house in a room in which we have 2 noisy parrots, without killing them!!
A simply, pleasant, polite, intelligent and educated person!

a seriously good guy. jim arrived a couple of weeks before xmas (having decided to forego a fruit picking job!) and was going to stay for two or three days, then deciding to stay through xmas here....not sure whether he is ever going to leave, but that's cool, as he relates so well to every one

I would have spent more time with him. I would have liked to host Jim at my place. Unfortunately at last I can't, he understood my problem in a sec and didn't take offence at it. He is an interesting, sensitive and absolutely trustworthy guy.I hope to see him again in better days.

Motorcycles and balistic kittens. Jim taught me many amazing things...that dirt soaks up antifreeze, that you can park in a no parking zone as long as you have an inflatable red couch, ect. He is welcome in my home anytime, provided he can stand kittens in his hair at 7 in the morning.

 

cool dude. Fliptophead & I arrived about the same time to Rainbow Retreat in Nimbin, Australia. Fliptophead is the kind of person you like to have around, he just blends right in and shares huge smiles and laughter with ya. You must ask him about his Flight to Paris story-one just never knows...
