Couch Available: Coffee or a drink Preferred Gender: Any
I'm moving out right now, so my couch won't be available for the next month or so... Sorry !
• I live in Meudon, a quiet town very close to Paris...
• I live with my brother full-time, with my mother part-time.
• I can host either in my own double bed or on the floor, with appropriate matresses.
• I have two cats, two turtles... The turtles will do weird sounds at night and you'll probably have one of the cat waking you in the middle of the night while stepping on your chest but don't worry, they are nice !
• Nobody smoke in the house, but we have several windows (amazing! ^^) where you can smoke by.
• The town in itself is dead quiet, you can enjoy a nice walk to the woods or to the park, but the main thing is that you get to the center of Paris in 15 minutes ! End then it starts to be cooool...
• Excellent network of public transport: tram, buses, train, french RER... you can get anywhere you want, any time (almost).

I guess that you won't be able to know "all about me" until you've met me and spent with me a good few years... But I can try to sum it up a little bit!
Concerning my actual life... I just finished my studies in english to try to find "my way" in this amazing world... I'm actually working part-time in a game shop in Paris, it is not only a work but also a real hobby for me. I'm looking for a job either in the leisure and games field, or in ecological issues... If a bit of travelling can be included, I wouldn't mind ! :)
Concerning my actual state of mind... The main thing is, I can't stay focused.
One can see it as a drawback, but I try to turn it into an asset.
My incapacity to finish what I've started condemns me to start new plans, new projects, over and over again. I seem to have the attention span of a goldfish. Not always, and not about everything, but most of time.
Then I thought: why not use this weakness to experience and discover as many things as I can?
Even if I don't finish the "thing", I might learn many "other things" on the way. And the next project that I will start will also teach me new, different things. And the next one, too. And the one after...
As we say, it is not always the aim of a journey which is important, but the very trail that leads to it.
... No ?

One Amazing Thing I've Seen or Done
Diving in the great coral reef in Australia, walking on the frozen sea in Finland, sleeping in a pilgrimage's house in shikoku (japan), being served by a row of barbies at Mc Donald's in Stockholm, enjoying the view from the top of the Empire State Building.
Opinion on the CouchSurfing.org Project
I wish I could find a stronger word than "awesome"... FUNKADELIRIOUS ?
This summary is not a replacement for reading references; it's a quick summary to help you get started. At a glance, you can see how many references a member has, and how many of them are positive, neutral, and negative.
In the second line, you'll see how many references came from people who hosted this member, surfed with them, and traveled with them. These numbers won't always add up to the total: some references are not categorized, and some may be categorized as more than one thing.
When viewing this summary, don't jump to conclusions! Things that are negative for one person may be positive for another, and vice versa. It's important to read references carefully and evaluate what that information means to you.

I have to agree with Jim, I'd call him a friend now, not a host. A cool, curious, light-hearted guy, you'd be lucky to meet. Looking forward to meeting up again, in Paris or "the states."
He was the most friendly guy we met in Paris and hosted us, when we were running throught the streets, earning nothing with poiing;) We had a lot of fun with him, he is a totally nice weirdo, who was so interested to comfort us...
My duck Henrietta took an instant liking to Jim and Maeva and their fire-engine red shins. They are kind, funny, and didn't steal the towels. They even left some chocolate in my fridge. What more could you ask for?
...Some time later, I have had the pleasure of staying with Jim in Paris, and I could not have had a better first host. Patient (apologies for the train mix-up...ahem), kind, thoughtful, and Wow, what a collection of board games!
