About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Know what we know not, cos this life's journey is all we got.
ABOUT ME
I mostly work online from my farm home on a global open source software project. Have done a fair share of travel, loves to talk and joke at the same time. Used to be 6ft2 and very thin. Volunteered in few places, jack of many trades and trying to stay focus as the bucket list is growing longer.
Dislikes: Doing the same thing twice. At least do it differently to stay out of boredom. Guess thats why i get one chance in life to do most of the things.
PHILOSOPHY
Ask whatever is to be asked, seek whatever is to be sought, travel whatever paths there be, sing the songs that delight me, walk the talk i have given. What else? Ah yes, keep out of harm's way and assist others.
Anti-thesis: Making the same mistake twice.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Since i am cyber-based, on this hobby career anywhere in the world, i can be versatile in my time management to give the most attention to my guest. As long as i get to login once in a while to check email and spend about 15 hrs max banging the keyboard. I got a farm home or shack if you see it, and will host any decent guy who does not mind getting up early, do a 3 mile jog, cycle, catching fish nearby and bringing it home to cook together. After that, a good siesta cos its too hot to think, or you are free to just read or surf online or go to the malls or cineplex. Grass is *coughs* not planted in my farm.
There are locations that i can bring you to visit: Batu Caves, Genting Highlands, Morib Beach and whatever we can reach on those bicycles.
My house is equipped with 2Mb broadband wifi, cable TV, washing machine, microwave oven, partial aircond that you may benefit from if my family voted in favour or your farm entry visa.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just joined May 9, paid the tax, and thinking of coming over to Sydney June 20th giving a talk, and onwards for a week or so. Next big place to crash is Japan, both Americas. And when it is that D-Day somewhere in 2012, i want a couch in Tibet which they say has the best view.
(on a serious note, i think there are places/faces on earth that you can form a unique experience of/with, that uplifts the human spirit. It is the faces that make the places.
Interests
Philosophical science and human thought, like to hear something interesting that i have not known before that might impact us. I linked all my online experience and interests here at http://www.red1.org. You can also hear the song i help wrote there.
(I hope to fill this section up after a few trips)

Music, Movies, and Books
Lots of Hollywood ones such as by DeNiro, DeCaprio, comedians like Robin Williams, Jim Carrey, Bill Cosby..
Music, some 70s, 80s, 90s. Not much 21st century ones.
Read many books that are non-fiction or makes me laugh.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seen Muamar Qadafi's bombed out camp and told them they ought to do something about air cover. Spoke in front of a 50 thousand strong crowd. Help founded and led a global project now HQ in Berlin. Happily married since 1989 (now that is amazing). Ran off from home at age 18.
Veered off course for 135 days into South America. It is dangerous. Those chickas and garotas!
Teach, Learn, Share
i love teaching anything i know..
Higher-end: If you like to know about software engineering the open source way you can find lots from my project at http://www.adempiere.com or my site http://www.red1.org
Lower-end: I can show you how to wear a sarong without it falling off.
