Ronald Plak

He's a great guy and has a lot of thoughts in his mind. I really appreciate his way and attitudes of travel. He also gave us many tips about couch-surfing. Thanks a lot!

Ronald is a smart guy, always with a positive vibe. A regular in meetings, something that makes them more enjoyable.

 

A truly CS-spirited guys! Always with smile on his face, always willing to share nice stories, give advice on how to celebrate carnival the proper way and what to do on the Queens Day :) Hopefully we will get many more chances to exchange stories!

I visited Eindhoven briefly and stayed with Ronald for two nights-he cooked us delicious meals both nights! He also took me on a little bike tour downtown to the longest bar street in europe. Ronald is a great guy and very easy to hang out with. I'll definitely look him up next time I visit Eindhoven!

Ronald was informative, smiley and relaxed; everything a Couchsurfing host should be. Although my stay in Eindhoven wa short I enjoyed meeting Ronald and gaining an inight into the snooker/pool club scene.

He is really friendly,curiously guy with good knowledge.He is talkative person!He showed us light night show in Eindhoven.It was great time!Wish you life full of positive surprises!

Ronald and Wendy were very friendly. They showed us Eindhoven by night. This was very nice.They went with us to "van Abbemuseum" and to the stadium of PSV.I had nice conversations with Wendy. : ) I learned much about the couchsurfgroupes Eindhoven. We met for the first time at the Paris trip and danced the night away. In meantime, we've met a lot more often and he's become a real friend. Hope to have such a nice breakfast one again! ;-)

Ronald was so nice! he's a really good cook and a good traveller! I spent a nice time for dinner with him and his friends ^_^ It was a too short time, only one night, but enough to understand that he's a very nice person!

Great (and my first) host! I needed an emergency couch in Eindhoven and he actually made a big effort to help me. We didn't share a lot of time, but my impression is that he is a open-minded and smart guy.

 

I met Ronald already at several meetings but still forgot to create a friend link to him. Now I didn't forget that and i'm always happy to meetup with him as he is a great guy to hangout with.

It was a pleasure meeting and hosting Ronald during Loony Toons and talking about life and travels. He is a very interesting person with insightful views of the world, a perfect guest and a pretty good dancer too ;-) - Wish we could have had more time to talk about our travels and compare notes... til next time hopefully :-D

My girlfriend and me stayed at his couch for one night. We can really recommend Ronald as a host! We spent time together having a three-courses-dinner and a night walk through the city. Thank you again for hosting us!

Ronald and I drank a heap of booze, talked crap for hours, and had a great night, despite the lousy weather. He is a model couchsurfer, so don't hesitate to meet up with him! He cooked some decent dinner, but that was nothing compared to watching his housemate each an enormous bowl of pasta (250gm + sauce!!!). Classy stuff!

I met Ronald at several Eindhoven meetings. He's fun, relaxed, spontaneous, a great dancer and open minded. This time he organised a great food and drink party at his place/roof terrace, which was awesome! Thanks for taking such a good care of all of us!!!

I met Ronald at some CS meetings in Eindhoven and travelled with him to the CS Loonytoon event in Newcastle. Ronald is a very friendly, relaxed and open-minded person. He likes to cook and is very active in organizing events in Eindhoven (mostly combining the cooking and meeting part). Ronald shares good travel stories. I'm sure gone meet you again!

 

I met Ronald (and his guests) when we were going to the STRP festival together. We had dinner together at my host Philippe's and the next day he hosted us for a really "gezellig" dinner at his place. He's friendly, easygoing, undertaking and down-to-earth. I think he'd be a nice guest and surfing his couch would probably make a nice Dutch experience in a non-touristy city.

I met Ronald already at several meetings and he is a great guy to talk with and he loves dancing and going out! Hope to see you soon!

Ronald was one of the top 3 hosts´ I ever had the pleasure to meet.
He is easy going, helpful,caring and a wonderful person. I stayed for a couple of nights at his house and they were awesome.

Ronald was a very good host. He met me at the train station, cooked dinner (the chocolate fondue was delicious!) and even showed me around Eindhoven - much more than I could expect! I was at his place only for one night (had a flight the following morning) but I hope I had a chance to meet Ronald better, he seems to be a very nice guy and has many interesting stories to tell from his travels.

 

It's about time to update this refence :) I've met Ronald at several meetings so far; the first time we've met at a bowlingmeeting in Eindhoven, later on i've been baking pancakes for him (twice :)) and last weekend we've visited Paris with a nice cs-group. Ronald proved to be a nice travelbuddy, good dancer and.. ah well, it's just fun to hang out with him, i recommend Ronald to surf your couch and/or as host, it won't disappoint you :)

I just notice I haven't leave a reference here even we have met so many times. Sorry for the late. :P
He is a great guy, almost all my happy big time in Eindhoven are with him involved. He give me many new ideas related with travelling. Looking forward to meet you next time in CS gathering.

Ronald is a nice talker. We change experiences about trips, brazilian and dutch people, etc. I met him in a CS meeting, we played bowling and he thinks that he won :; I am not sure....hahahahaha. Doei Ronald!

Nice guy who has a lot to tell about his Asia trip. Took the initiative to wake up Eindhoven's CS society! Bravo for this guy!

 

I've met Ronald a couple of times now at CS events. He's a easy going, friendly down to earth kinda guy. Organizes a lot of CS events in Eindhoven and is interesting to talk to. Recommended.

Ronald hosted me at his home in Eindhoven the night before I went to London. We went to listen a music concert and he introduced me to several of his friends in Eindhoven. Always welcome for a return visit with some friends Ronald!

Ron is a chill guy with tons of Eindhoven hospitality. Getting to know his travel experience was super exciting. We went to hangout on my last night of stay in Eindhoven. Trying Dutch cuisine was super fun. We also indulged on various Dutch and Belgium beer. The best part of the night was the live concert, the locals offer such a strong energy it was refreshing. Thanks to Ron I could call my trip to Eindhoven truly a blast. Look forward of my return.

Ronald is not only a real nice host, no, he even let me live in luxury! Besides that, i had so much fun and such a nice company...Ronald, whenever you need a couch in "duitsland", let me know!

I met Ronald the other day at a party of a friend we have in common (just by accident bumped into your page on CS hehe), didn't have much time to talk but.. we will at the next party !!

ronald is a champ, he brought the light out of eindenhoven (which he says: eindenhoven isnt a CS hot spot). we had a wild night in the bar street and he cooks like a god. the cs experience with ronald will be hard to top.

I've known Ronald now for over 5 years. Nice guy, he traveled a lot, all the way to and through Asia by train. I just saw pictures of his new room in Eindhoven, it looks really nice, so definitely a good place to stay.

Its good for Eindhoven, that Ronald moved there, seen that he is really active and immediatly set up an event that all of us enjoyed. Interesting to listen to his Russia experiences and very useful, if you wanne go there yourself.

I have travelled with this crazy duch bastard for over a month. What a guy he is. He even keeps my train tickets in his pocket for me so i dont lose them. In many ways he has been a surrogate father to me this past while. Thank you Ronald, i might be dead without you.
