ABOUT ME

I don't think I am the best person to describe myself (which probably says something about me), but here we go...I am an outgoing person and I like talking with people, about everything from giraffes to sustainability. I really like to listen to everyone's stories and share some of my own as well.
There are times when I just want to chill, be more quiet and maybe listen to some music, play a board game or watch a good (or given my track record lately, bad) movie.
What else can we compress into this box... I simply love to cook, both, for myself and for/with others. And what do you need apart from food... drinks! Yes, I also like to party, drink and have a great night. (period) But, who would have thought, I also like doing some more cultural stuff, like going to muesuems/galleries and seeing street/food markets. Since I am getting a lot of requests currently, please include the word "farmers market", when you write me one, so I know you read my profile.While I am the kind of person, who wants to get a solution for everything (who would have thought, there is an actual reason for me to study Computer Science), I also like mysteries to a certain degree, so find out the rest about me, when we meet up and have a great chat!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, here I was thinking I would first participate in travelling and trying to find couches.
Things do change.
I am always looking forward to host a new surfer who wants to experience the amazing city that London is. I grew really fond of it.
Other exciting times are ahead while travelling, where it is always lovely to meet up with new couchsurfers and where, in the future, I will also want to surf. To experience everything from a locals perspective and to share all the interesting things we can offer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had only great experiences so far. First I met some couchsurfers through a friend and now already had my own "hands-on" experience, with hosting and meeting up. Always looking forward to meet some fellow couchsurfing people.

Every kind of Music, Movies, Reading, Sports/Moving around, Nature, Theatre, Museums, Travelling (who would have thought!?), zero waste living and everything that is new. Lets just find it out together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The wide and beautiful Nature in the US
And moving abroad, on my own, for the first time in my life (aaahh, what beautiful memories of me arriving in the big city of London and meeting all those amazing people)
Woofing in China with my wife - Working in the nature and meeting so many wonderful and generous people was quite humbling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I always love cooking a nice meal together or having a conversation in German :)
