Ryan's a veteran couchsurfer with the ability to become engaged in whatever-really whatever- is going on around him. A pleasure to host.

Ryan stayed with me for a few nights and then came to a house warming party I hosted a few days later. He was respectful, knowledgeable, good conversationalist and fun to be around. I enjoyed his stories and his photograpy. My friends welcomed his company as well. I highly recommend him as a guest.

woot! ryan was so fun and down for anything! we biked to the brewery, made fried green tomatoes...all in all, super nice guy, some great stories, and even managed to choke down some thai hot chilies...

He'll be your best friend in a matter of days. Just give him a chance.

Super super positive review!!! I had such a great time hosting Ryan in Austin. So great in fact, that he stayed with me a couple years later when I moved to Portland. He was my first couchsurfer, and I'm grateful for the experience. Fabulous and very entertaining houseguest.

So funny to be on a Carribean island in the shared living room of a guest house and a guy comes in , looks at you and says: you're a couch surfer! Couchsurfing is a really big family.

If you're the one stuck with Ryan in the car gliding through the streets of some forgotten part of US, you're lucky! He's awesome, has a great sense of humour probably a million interesting stories to tell

 

Ryan is very laid-back.... waaay back! I think the Caribbean is an ideal place for him.

Besiktas! 4th Californian I've hosted so far :) again easy to get along, funny, full of stories from a different parts of the world. Ryan is a guy you should definitely meet if he's passing by your city.

 

Mr. Duignan is even more fun in person than his profile suggests. Since we met and traveled together a year ago and he broke the news to me about this fabulous website, I've managed to keep him somewhat in line throughout our world-wide traipsing. He is quite the charmer. Do yourself a favor and either host him or surf his sofa if you're ever in the same city!

Ry is great! He and Meg were wonderful hosts for my first couch surfing experience in Minneapolis with Laur! He was faboulous company and not half bad at spotting a sweet apartment!

 

Ryan and Megan stayed with me for the Pitchfork music festival. They were fantastic guests, and fun too! I'd hang out with them even if we lived in the same town...whoa!

P.S. They brought me wine.

Turkey Traveler! I met Ryan at Solero's in Athens. We all went out for a last night get-together. Funny and smart for such a young guy! (PS: It was a Smirnoff Ice!)

Diggin' that Duignan. There is so much I don't know about Ryan but he's a wonderful guest and brings a lot of life into a place. Thank you for coming and staying here in Santa Fe with us.

Out on the town. I met Ryan when my friend, Matt, and I couchsurfed with Megan Wicker in Minneapolis. He's a great guy who's totally fun to hang out with. We went for many scenic walks, visited museums and rode all around town. We also shared lively dinner conversation, and root beer floats! It doesn't get much better than that... You won't be disappointed couchsurfing with Ryan!

tour guide extrordinaire! I'm glad I met Ryan while couchsurfing in Minneapolis. Despite being relatively new to the city he proved himself to be an excellent tour guide and museum-goer. This guy has been on Couchsurfing.com longer than anyone else so he knows his stuff. And if you're nice to him he might share some cheese curds or make you a killer root beer float!

He runs, he jumps, and can catch a frisbee in the most amazing ways. Ryan is a good man living in the midwest, retaining a northern California attitude.

Ryan's a good egg... Talk about a gracious guest! This guy showed up with two bottles of wine and his dancin' shoes, and refused to waste an ounce of his Minneapolis weekend on frivolous things like food or sleep. He rocked our socks and stole our hearts, and is welcome back any time. As long as he promises not to cut his hair.

 

I was lucky enough to meet Ryan when I couchsurfed with Megan. He kept me in stitches for most of my visit. I'm up for drunken Jenga or Trivial Pursuit anytime buddy!

 

His I-pod and his good mood... ... helps ryan overcome difficulties :) I believe that this is the secret of a really considerate guest, well versed with the ways of the world! It was a pleasure hosting him. Good luck :)

First time's a charm. Ry showed me and Molly an absolutely lovely time in Minneapolis. I couldn't have asked for a better first-time couchsurfing experience. Absolutely perf!

 

A good excuse to blow off an afternoon of work. I knew Ryan could hang with my crew when he threw down a $5 challenge re: some left over chinese food on the street by a warm steam vent on a -17 degree day. Oh yeah, managed to hang out all night with me, AND get me to the airport on time the next morning. I look forward to surfing his couch and being treated in the style to which I've become accustomed.

louisville is for couchsurfers. While Ryan saw his fifth snowfall, I hosted my first couchsurfer. Equally meaningful experiences? Possibly. But I think I win. He's hilarious, he's brilliant, and he's welcome back anytime.
