I'm glad we arrived at the same time, something about you made me feel more myself and comfortable from the get go with the collective crew. When everyone else was smiles and craze, you made it ok to be stable and quietly enjoy. You always came to check up on me and help when I needed a hand, I don't like to ask for those things, but I need them, and for your unrequested consideration I will always be appreciative. I hope you are well, always ').

 

Seb exudes calm, maybe because underneath he knows his committment to working hard for couchsurfing and being a warm, friendly, genuine person gives him the peace of mind that he's leading a good life!

Sebastien is a wise and healthy person. it was fun to discover the benefits of ginger root and discuss the quadratic equation.

Seb is a very nice guy to talk with. Definately will hang out more next time you come to Thailand.

 

Seb is really a wonderful person. We shared the pro snorers room at collective in Pai, Thailand. Shared at full some days in that unforgettable experience. He's waiting to meet me again to have one more chance in a darts match, but Seb, no way with an historical english pub user as me ;)

He exudes good vibrations, man. One of the first things I noticed about Sebastien was the humor, intelligence and balance in his eyes. The second major thing I noticed, more recently, is his creativity. When mixed with humor, look out!! You get things like The Towel Store, "egg in avocado creation", and virtual hiking. And the third thing, his sense of adventure, I am sure I've only scratched the surface on this one. Since meeting him at my amore's birthday party, our friendship has grown through hanging out at house party's, dinners, and more recently, camping (awesome weekend!). I count it a blessing to have friends like Sebastien. See you in Montreal, brother!

Seb is just one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Not only were we fellow colleagues at the Thai collective for 2 months but I was also lucky enough to have him as a fellow housemate for all that time as well. So easy to get along with, incredibility hard working and highly talented in so many disciplines. Very much looking forward to meeting up in the future and hearing some more of his wonderful guitar playing.

 

Seb is the coolest of the cool. He is passionate, calm, and a sweetheart. I miss him already. He is one of the most interested people I know.

Hey Seb,Sorry for lately adding you for longtime. Seb Is good is good friends We met & work in pai, later Hangout in Chiangmai. He is great man being he love to eat Joke (thai rice soup :)& Padthai. Hope to see you again Man.

Seb is a lot too much. Too modest, too sweet, too considerate, too reliable, too serious, too professional, too sexy, too dedicated, too damn cuet :-)
I hope to see him in Alaska to make sure I get to be in his presence again to learn more about FREEDOM in combination with serious dedication.

All smiles and way too much fun = Seb. I had an absolute blast dancing all night at the Reggae Festival in Pai- trading hats and bonding with the locals. :) And when you're not dancing and laughing with Seb, then you're having interesting, intelligent conversations... he reminds me so much of my close friends from back home. I was so sad to leave Pai so soon, for it would have been nice to have more time to get to know you better...... but we have a world of time for dancing. Hope to see you, again, and thanks for all of your hard work at the Collective! You're the best!

 

Seb is as genuine and humble as they come. I love his outlook on life and his unruffled sensibility. This guys has a heart of gold and I plan to find a way to cross paths with him again sometime in the future. My User Experience has never been better.

 

Some words are used too often, and end up losing their deeper meaning; I think that happened with the word "Fortunate". It sounds like a small word now, when it should mean something very big. Whenever I'm with Seb, this word came into my head more than any other word - used in the BIG sense. How very, very, FORTUNATE I am; to know this thoughtful, funny, insightful, kind person - to be able to stay with him, spend time with him, and experience his amazing hospitality, time spent in Chico...Seb, whenever you're not around I wish you were, and I can't wait until our next chance to visit.

 

Sebastian is an upbeat well rounded person I can talk about just about anything and everything. I specially like his interest in health and well being - personally and globally. I am very glad we crossed paths and I am looking forward seeing him more.

 

Sebastien is a very kind and intriguing person. We were able to chat quit a bit and he drove my car when I was not able to. :o) He is a very sincere person with a kind heart. Definitely someone to spend time with and get to know. I hope to see him again soon!

 

Seb feels like someone I have known for a long time. When he stayed with us, he just 'fit', and was so comfortable and fun to be around. (My daughter thinks so, too.) My one complaint - not long enough! (And we will go running next time...we can complain the whole way in French and Japanese.)

I think our experiences, education, training, and multicultural background gave us the capability to connect on many different levels----I was able to express and pass on much of what I am passionate about and have learned, which, to me, was real rush, and quite rare. Next time, Seb, we are going to run 8 miles instead of 4, so get ready.

Is it about to get gushy in here?? Well a bit, Seb's one of those people you can gush about, he's warm, kind, complex, yet simple, smart as sh**, creative, knows the in and the outs of many things and appreciates a good deal almost as much as thrifty-ass me...and also is still very generous with his ideas, knowledge, and pressure cooked foods....it was food, chats bout real estate, Birds and the Bees ;) and some musique française~perfect! One of my favorite and closest people from CS, he is a friend now, not just a couchsurfer I met… I enjoy all the time we’ve spent so far and all the great moments, our Montreal adventure and I am sure it’s going to be just as special in the future. Thank you for always being so supportive, kind and inspiring. You’re one of the reasons why I love CS! Travelers who plan to meet him…you’re making the right choice, don’t miss an opportunity to get to know Seb, he’ll instantly become your favorite, like it happened for me!

 

Seb is really a humble and kind person..you have to meet him to realize it.. We had a great time playing beach volleyball at Santa Cruz.. He has great vision which is quite evident from him CS project and im sure this is going to continue for years to come..

 

Sebastian... the Very Special, Star Gazing, guitar playing, insightful, curious and food loving (rivals hungrysteve) adventurer. Our time together was short but full of fun and interesting topics of conversation. I am filled with gratitude for going the extra miles (insert smile) to come to Chico to meet me. My life is so much richer for having met this wonderful and unique friend. One of my more memorable hosting experiences.. I know he will be present in my life for a long time to come. Big Hugs.

 

Staying with Seb was my first CouchSurfing experience, and it was very positive. He's a great guy, with a very nice spare bedroom.

Actually, I first met Seb in Montreal, but since both of us prefer having friend links posted to us... well I'm creating one now :)

Seb is a gentleman & chilled out guy (yet knows how to have a good time), who I totally dig as a friend. Excellent hosting in his oh-so-nice flat with a sundown view in San Jose, relaxation quaranteed! Extra special thanks for helping me out with the telecomms situation, and the best way to pay it back is to pay it forward I guess.

I was looking for people to go out with here in SJ and he invited me to a picnic! He introduced me to his friends, formed a volleyball team and sucked at it.hahaha. One word about this guy: sensitive. He is that person who is totally aware of the people around him. See you when we hang-glide!!!

Seb is a kind of host perfecly balance between nature and city... simple, happy and very charitable he is a great couchsurfing ambassador...

Sebastien is a really polite and nice guy!!!He helped me with his car carrying my big bags and we had a wonderful dinner time in a spanish restaurant too! He showed us some of amazing view from the top of some luxury hotels of San Francisco and I'll remember for all my life the amazing night view of the Bay Bridge!Thanks so much Seb!I hope to meet you soon in Italy!!!

 

quien eres tu... SEB was my first official CS host and he's just the sweetest guy ever... picked me up from my friend's apartment in SAN FRAN, took me to Santa Cruz, Santa Clara and some nice places in San Jose...
I met some of his friends here and we had a great time with them too...
he let me use his computer, pool and washing machine... let me "spy" around his office and re-write the hieroglyphes on his whiteboard...yeah, I know it's a whiteboard... ;)
and he let me eat all the ice cream in his house too... ;)

then he took me on the most amazing Night-sight-seeing-tour of SAN FRAN ever...almost left me speechless....
and he even put the moon in the perfect place...!! ;) wow...

aaahhh - and he didn't even mind listening to my CDs and the same song over and over again for 3 days and 2 nights... ;)

I immediately got great vibes from Sebastien when I met him, we have a lot in common and I'm looking forward to hanging out again soon and kiteboarding!

He is a down to earth, kind, thoughtful, funny person. I have really enjoyed getting to know him. He is very interesting and the kind of person that I would love to talk to more because I can tell there are many things to discover.

 

Sebastien is sooo nice. I was a bit ill and he was so nice to buy me a tea. He is so attentive and nice and he has one of those smiles that can light up a room. Let's have a meeting on OUR side sometime before i move to SSF:) will send you the candle pics, send me your e mail:)

Seb is great and such a nice guy! I'm glad I met him and we had the occasion to spend time together. Great guy, great talk, great times! I hope to see him again when I'll visit West Coast.

 

I met Seb through a friend at work. A big group of us were getting together for a jazz concert in Oakland, and although he had never met me, he was willing to give me a ride from Palo Alto. We were sitting in Friday evening traffic in the Bay Area for close to an hour and a half and had some of the best conversations - music, travel. By the end of the car ride, we ended up coming up with business ideas to start...that was a sign of a good connection. Sebastian is a super genuine person, likes adventure and has an amazing eclectic music selection. Cheers with all the CS stuff, Seb!

 

Seb is the man...we had a great time in Cancun!

 

Sebastien is my how-to-get-used-to-the-Californian-life Guide. He hosted me for more than two weeks when I relocated in SJ for work, helping me with paperwork, showing me around, making me laugh when I was down. Sebastien is one of the most generous person I have ever met. He's brilliant, practical and simply sweet. He is my first couchsurfer, but even more.. my first friend in the bay area... and I am sure that this friendship will last forever. Seb, merci un million de milliard de fois.. je t'adore!!!! (et je m'ennuie déjà de nos soirées).

When you talk to Seb about what travel and life is all about, you know why Couch Surfing is so great. The vision this guy has is truly inspiring. I look forward to the future when I can meet up with Seb again.

Seb is cool! I spent serveral nights at Seb's place and it was simply a blast! He showed me around the bay area and we came along very well!!! He is an easy going and open minded dude, you will love him! He also has great friends... try to get to know them!

Before meeting him I heard he was a usability expert. After spending those 4 days with him in Montreal, I found him to be an expert in many other areas. One is motivation to get things done (never had to ask him to work), the others is social skills and respect. I think he understands people and the CS ideals, and future needs very well. Very Proud

 

Met this man at the CSC and can honestly say that this guy rules. Nothing but good times, a truly solid guy.

Sebastian was the most hospitable person we have stayed with thus far. He was so welcoming from the moment we met. He was nothing but generous and sweet to us during our stay at his awesome place. He showed us what was fun and good to eat in San Jose (and oh man, was the food good) and made sure we had a wonderful time even when he was at work. All in all, our experience with Seb could hardly have been better and we hope to cross paths with this quality person again someday!

Stayed plenty of times! I've stayed with Seb plenty of times in and around his various locations around San Jose... plus, we've traveled together time and time again. He's super respectful, and super accommodating. He knows more languages than anyone I've ever met... and on top of that, he's a top notch interface/graphic designer! There's no doubt in my mind, I highly recommend staying with Seb!
