CouchSurfing Experience
Haven't couchsurfed or hosted yet. BUT was active in the CS-Community in BKK when I lived there.
Now that I'm back in Singapore, I'm not as active. :(
Interests
Music, salsa-dancing, psychology,education, biking, travelling, good food, interesting people, bright colours, good books, yoga, running, chocolate, experiencing new sensations.... I'll add to this - there's too many, I can't even remember what they are now!
Philosophy
Thankfulness is the beginning of happiness...
These days I make myself happy.
It's a voluntary, purposeful state, I've come to realize. You really can't be happy unless you decide to be. Noone on the planet can make you happy if you wait for someone or something else to make you happy.
Happiness is also pretty simple.
Don't over-think, don't blame, don't dwell.
Simply be.
But most importantly, I've found happiness is learning to be content no matter what your lot in life.
There's no point comparing sob stories or bemoaning any injustices. Sure, bitch a bit now and then, admit and be aware of how situations make you feel, but never victimize yourself - you ALWAYS have a choice.

Shimona's AWESOME! Always so full energy, and omg so cheerful. We hang out, eat, drink (she drinks juice :P), watch movies together... And there's never a dull moment with her around.
And her voice....when she sings, it will take you places. If you're ever in Singapore, GO TO HER GIGS!!!
Shimona, Shimona, Shimona. This girl can make your soul soar, grieve, wept and shudder at the power of her voice. She is light, sweet, and thoroughly a wonderful person.

Heard this beautiful lady sing at a restaurant in Bangkok and then we hit the salsa dance floor together. She is so sweet and fun. Maybe we'll meet again sometime when she's a famous singer!
You would be blessed to know Shimona for ANY amount of time. She is so fun and carefree and such a joy to be around. She sings like an angel too! If you're very, VERY lucky, she might even sing to you for your birthday!! ;)
Though we haven't hung out alone together very often, it's not hard to tell that Shimona is a beautiful person, both inside and out. She radiates positivity with her openness, musical talent, humor, and intelligence. It's easy to immediately feel comfortable enough to be yourself around her because she will be herself from the beginning!

Shimona has a great spirit and we are on the same wavelength. She is one of the most incredible singers I have ever heard. It is just so nice to meet someone on the other side of the world that you connect with so well. We will be friends for a long time. Thank you Shimona.
Shimona is full of positive energy, great great organizer! So if you ever get the chance to meet her in Bangkok just do it.... and you will be surprised how happy and positive she makes you feel!
We are lucky to have her in CS Bangkok family.
Oh man, how to describe Shimona?? I think she's must have some extra ordinary time management skills since she's always on the go, full of energy and charm. Shimona is super friendly and she takes time to talk to you no matter how busy she is. Pleasure to know her. Oh and she's a great singer!!
Shimona is an amazing person, with a generous and caring spirit. I had heard wonderful things about her prior to meeting her, from mutual friends, and am so glad that our paths have crossed. She is talented, giving, and kind.
