About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Thinking and eventually writing what possibly nobody has ever thought or written before

ABOUT ME

I've needed years to condense all about myself for storing it on my personal homepage, so that it would be silly (as well as impossible) to store it again here. If you really are curious, you'd better make a jump to www.robertoquaglia.com

PHILOSOPHY

Interacting with interesting people is the main point in life... or is there anything else that could make you happy? Exploring the mysteries of life is not too bad either.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been using couchsurfing for years by now, both surfing and hosting. Since life doesn't last forever I'm now considering to just start to travel around the world indefinitely. Anyone interested in sharing a slice of this path? ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most of my experiences with couchsurfing has been wonderful. Just check how many beautiful people I've interacted with, and you'll understand. Or not. But if you don't understand, I don't really care. About you, I mean ;)
However, I should also add that I don't like at all the recent restylings of the Couchsurfing website. The wesite is getting worse and worse.

Interests

writing, reading, travelling, spending quality time with meaningful people, watching brilliant films now and then, enjoing good food and vine, developing my own madness instead of drowning in the collective pre-packaged franchising madness where so many people feel safe to disappear...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been living and travelling for many months with Robert Sheckley, one of the greatest science fiction and surrealist writers ever.

I've been writing a book together with Ian Watson, probably the most original British writer around. Here you may visit that book's homepage.

That's just a few example, chosen among others because of their obvious uniqueness. But there's of course much more in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

The things I'm an expert of have no real label yet... A label would kill their further evolution.

Moreover, except for basic things, I don't believe too much in teaching. A wise person may well catalize someone else's evolution, but what has this to do with teaching?

Beyond real life I've also spent years exploring the virtual one, having been an Internet interpreneur for a while. Some sites still survive my later attention for other issues...
