This foxy lady branded me at Burningman and then took me on a lovely bikeride full of vodka, naked monkeybars and hula-hooping. Stroppy is fun in a can. A very voluptious can.

I love Cass with all my heart, she is an amazing woman. If there is a chance to meet this person - do so. She is so sweet, inteligent, and caring.

 

Stroppy is so funny. I had a blast getting to know her, and would love spending more time with her. Wise woman.

I am so glad to have met stroppy at the camp at BM. Was very friendly and cool from the moment we met. awesome person to be around. hope to meet up with her again soon while she is still in the area.

Stroppy is a personnage. I first contacted her by email in my attemps to find a ride to Burning Man. Althrough she couldn't help me for that part, she gave me several valuable informations and finally welcome me *Home*. She is extremely crazy and definitely very helpful. Every moment I spent with her is a blast.

 

Stroppy is a sweetheart, and puts sunscreen on a guys back with attention and care. Thanks Stroppy.

Stroppy and I met at the CS camp at Burning Man.

Cassandra made me to be in the perfect conditions to enjoy my time in SF. She is full of energy, happiness and joy. My life experience grew up after meeting her, and next time I'm gonna to go to "burning man"...

It is impossible not to be a gentleman with her :)

Good times, good attitude - and a deeply pleasant host when we stayed in SF!!! Also widely known n respected as one of those interested US media types who are fun n informative to argue/debate/constructively disagree with...

 

Cassandra was great to spend the weekend with! She's wicked at pool! I can't wait for the next adventure!!

 

She is this sweet petit fairy, traveling around and leaving some fairydust on her way.... If you read my mission statement, you know why I can't help but like her :-)

 

This lady is a HOOT! She'll show you how having fun is done. She shows me every time we meet in fact and I thought I was an expert.

 

So I met this little lady at a party in Costa Rica. Well, for starters, she's super cool to not be scared away by me, haha. Cassandra is warm, funny and one tough chica. It was a pleasure to meet here and I can't wait to see her again at Burning Man!

Cassandra is full of spunk and chutzpah. A tiny woman smoking a stogie and living off of $4 a day during a many month journey from San Francisco to Panama using only her thumb and her wits is a tiny woman to be reckoned with. She knows what she wants to do and she does it, but she also is quite adept at going with the flow. Truly an amazing woman.

U are an amazing person, and Im looking forward to see you in burning man!

 

Cass is smart and level-headed, except when she is crazy. (Even then, I think she's still smart, but I may be wrong :)

This woman is a fucking super hero. She's hot as hell, a badass cook, offers a hand 3000% of the time, and knows just how to cheer up sad faces. One of those cool chics whom you wish were yr sister. YA!!!!!

 

Let's put this straight, If you're looking for a person who pretends to be nice but it's an absolute bitch, full of crap on her head and talking bullshit all the time with an empty heart trying to make up for all the lack of beautiful things she will never have...



Just turn around and look for someone else because Cassandra is absolutely the opposite and she will make you feel like this world has great sense just because of the person she is.

 

She stayed with us and was a fantastic guest at the collective. Smoked some stogies and had some nice times chillin'. You're welcome back anytime!

We hung out on the trail in Altagracia. Shes real cool and knows a lot about couchsurfing and what its about.

Really enjoyed hanging out with Cassandra and Dave who were welcoming as soon as I met them. I am hoping they will let me tag along with them for a while - an added bonus couch surfing. The kind of people you know you will see again one day. xx

Cassandra is a bright, very interesting, spontaneous, open-minded person. Great listener and seasoned traveler. I am happy to have shared my first couchsurfing experience with her and Spike!

We stayed in the same place in Nicaragua and it was very nice.

 

I found she in San Cristobal de las Casas and we share some drinks, words, and experiences in a San patricks party.

She is so nice, polite and great woman !!!

If you want to try one of the best chocolate-drinks in the world just invite Kassandra in your house.
She has that stuff of spirit that real travellers have; respectfull, genuine. Her whole life is a travel, try to share some of her stories and enjoy her unique way to say the most amazing things with the most simple way.
I met her in San Cristobal, both couch-surfers in the same house.
I had no the oportunity to say goodbye when she left,maybe the next time.

I met Cassandra when surfing in Roland's house and had a great time with her. She made the atmosphere in hte flat very welcoming with her warm and kind presence. I hope I meet her again in another couch surfing house.

Stroppy was a great guest! She showed me how to cook a local food and was really good to my pup.

We had a great three days hanging out in Xela, Guatemala. Very open and friendly.

She is a great person, allways funny and with a lot of experiences to explain, we learn a lot. Because she has traveled all over the world. We knew a new way of travelling and leaving with her...Thanxs for everithing and if you have a couch request from her, don't hesitate to say YES..you'll enjoy the time with her.

Cassandra and Spikes are full of positive energy. We met at Roland's in a very nice meeting organized over there.
They have been traveling for a while so you can spend hours and hours talking about trips and places. I wish you the best of the lucks in your way and I hope we will meet again somewhere.

Cassandra is fucking awesome!!! I really enjoyed the time I Couch Surfed with her and Dave and took much pleasure to hear all the wonderfull stories she had to share. If I had a couch to surfout, I would let her and Dave (aka Spikes or Lamborgini Dave) stay as long as they want...

 

I met Cassandra in some meetings at Roland's place, This girl brings a world over her head, an experienced traveller! Laughts, good talks, relaxing time and nice surprise are the worlds to describe Cassandra time. If she acroos your way you can share the "Casssurfing experience". Cassandra is a beautiful olive. With a scent of patchouli. And a smile of pumpkin patch. Her presence is happy and mellow, and i love her honesty. Ella tiene sus pies en la tierra y su espiritu en los cielos. Buena onda ;)

 

Cassandra and Dave were amazing guests at our place. I´m glad they stayed longer than they had wanted to - I met a very harmonious couple, we shared some excellent food, had long and interesting conversations and a lot of party. These guys are real travellers and I´m looking forward to meeting them on their way back to the Burning Man Festival!

Cassandra and Spike came to my house after camping at the presa in my Twon!! Sience I saw their request I wanted to host them but I was out of home! But I could host them at the last moment so The are a really nice, friendly and trusty people!! Thanks for coming to my house!! And remember my house is your house!! Well, Stroppy and Dave (her boyfriend) crashed me in Puebla!it was a petty cos the whole time I was a lot bussy, all because the Uni, but the time that we spended together was smashinn!!! I wish see you at least once!

This woman is a true gift to the world.
Everyone she meets is somehow a better person for it. She is sharp as a razor, sweet as chocolate, and nice as pie. But she will still drink any man under the table! She can turn random vegetables and canned goods into delicious soup and old corkboard walls into beautiful works of art. She has the most wonderful sense of humor and she can brighten your worst day with a laugh or a smile. She's magical.

We only got to hang out briefly in the desert of Morocco but we have stayed in close contact since then, even turns out our fathers work together. She is a phenomenally intelligent, adventurous, travel savvy person and she is a guaranteed good time. She gets the Rev's Five Star rate of approval.

 

Cassandra is a very fun person to be around. Very happy, always smiling, with a positive attitude.

I left her and Dave stranded on an island for four days, instead of complaining they had hermit crab races. And watched a crab eat a bee. Very positive and upbeat.
Hella good veggie cook. Three days turned into a couple, coulda had them stay more.
A great asset to CS, will make a great ambassador.
I wish her nothing but luck on her further adventures in life.

Words cant describe how amazing a host Stroppy is. It was 4 days before burning man, she had a mountain of articles to write, she was already hosting a surfer and she still took me in, and out, to a bar with a real deers head on the wall which I thought was a little strange as shes a vegetarian. It was just a small taster of the beautiful madness that makes her so wonderful. Thanks for everything cas

 

Stroppy is a near and dear friend and burner. She is a light without being seen, she is an inspiration without her needing to be here with me, she gives love without condition and has touched my life through the joy that she brings others.

 

Oh me, oh my, this woman is something else! I first met her at our camp's Topless Weenie Roast when she smacked my ass with a riding crop. I was ever so fortunate to get to spend a wild night and even wilder Decompression with her some months later in San Francisco-Cassandra is simply a delight.

I rang the bell and there she was and oh, boy then we had some beers and good times :)

I couldn't recommend Stroppy more. SHE IS AWESOME. You will have a great time. I trust her with my life.

 

Quite instantly, I became friends with this lovely, intelligent and exceptional lady! If I lived in San Francisco, I could see the both of us, in a bar, causing the very best of ruckuses nonstop. Despite the reality of circumstance, my lack of residency only means I have to try harder and make sure our orbits collide whenever the chance presents itself, which it will! If anything, I know Burning Man is her other home, and now I have to go, to see the wonder of it with her!

 

I lived with Cassandra for a month and she was one of my favourite roommates ever. Not only is she smart, up on current events, motivated, helpful and sassy, but she appreciates the value of a cold beer and a good game of pool. That's just the beginning. Even though she has a great sense of humour and fun there's a much deeper and more thoughtful person under her mischievous exterior. When our roomie was hospitalized after a nasty accident she took care of my surfer for the night and showed her a good time while offering to help me in any way she could. Then she was invaluable in helping when the patient finally made it home from hospital. Overall, she is a great person (with a mouth like a sailor). ;)

 

She explained how to move a hula hoop around without humping the air. My attempts were valiant but ultimately futile.

 

Stroppy!! This girl was the best thing that happened to us on our first night at the camp. We wish she stayed longer with us. She is now officially in our list of good friends. Whenever you come to Chicago, we will be honored to host you.

From walking around all night together, partying and hula hooping, to a mesmerizing back massage that actually made me fall asleep, stroppy is a pack of fun. we had loads of time together in BM 08, and i can't wait to meet her again and hear some more crazy wild ass stories :)

 

Cass! The first time I met this jumping lady, she tilted back my head and poured a drink down my throat... from a lovely leather contraption, to boot. What is not to love already? Always smiling, you know when you see her you'll be bound for good times. I hope to see her again soon.

 

Stroppy is amazing, she IS The Coordination Meister ! One of the Burning Man trifecta crew, I am indebted to Stroppy for all her help and good sense, not to mention the happy hugging of course :))

 

Cass is just an exceptional person! Before we even met she wrote me detailed emails and talked on the phone to make sure I was prepared (practically and emotionally) for my first Burning Man experience.
Then during the event she would give me encouraging words of wisdom, introduce new ways of thinking to me and always be a hilarious co-burner. The week really would have been very different for me if she hadn't been there! She's so considerate in taking care of others it's inspirational!

Ah, Ms. Stroppy...what can one say about Cassandra? Crazy wild woman fun friendly exuberant always moving hula hooping dusty burning spanking happy person who I really like to hang out with.

Cassandra is a radiant bundle of energy. She's also smart, considerate, and has so many crazy stories even I haven't heard them all. She's an old soul. 'Nuff said.

Very cool girl with some interesting stories. Open-minded and sharing and always willing to have a conversation. I will be seeing more of her for sure.

 

I love stroppy:) she stamped my boobs and the rest is history:) it's always nice to have her around...she is always smiling and happy. last year at burningman, she invited half our camp over to their bus for a rooftop party, that was so amazing. they even had a piano up there:) looking forward to 08!

 

Stroppy's a great girl who can beat down the best of 'em with a few hoola hoops! She's a lovely person, and I would gladly host or surf with her.

 

Cassandra got her first chance to pay back the CS community by hosting someone with me... She is an amazing person to hang out with. If you like coffee, writers, NPR, smoking cigarettes, shooting pool, midnight in the mission bar crawls, and you think you can keep up... just try... it will be fun. She will make your head spin with amazing tales with both hands tied behind her back... oh and she's really nice too.

Her name escapes me at the moment...Bad Josh!!! But she told me tons about burning man! I so want to go! It was nice meeting you at the march. :)

There is never a dull moment when she's around. She always has something interesting to say and it makes me smile just to look at her :)

She was my favorite of the day teaching us her mastery of the hula hoops far past that of normal hula hooping on the waist! We even attempted skipping with the hoops it was all in the hip thrust and she was of couse the master! She was very warm and friendly and I throuroughly enjoyed my encounter with her!

 

Cassandra was absolutly wonderful to have and be around during the potluck in San Fran. She has a smile that goes a long way and you cant help but smile back. She brought some hula hoops. I swear the potluck was 8 hours, and she was hulaing for at least half the time. Keep up the energy lady, we love it.

 

I bow to the hoop GODDESS & the perpetual motion engine! Thanks for imparting some of that waist-twisting knowledge to this poor soul.

I absolutely, positively adore Cassandra! I was putting together a potluck meet-up on Crissy Field in San Francisco, and our mutual friend Kat put us in touch so that I could grab some tables and a canopy to keep the food on. My traveling partner and I borrowed Cassandra and the supplies for the day, including hula hoops (which Cassandra used to help as fun icebreakers).

She totally pitched in to help set up camp, maintain order, clean up afterward and was STILL game to hit a bonfire on North Beach until we limped our tired butts home from a day of hard partying and social networking. I am really, really happy that it worked out for me to meet the Stern one, and I hope it works out for you to meet her as well!

Went grocery shopping together in busy Paris on New Years Eve...a wonderful cook and a very sweet person!

Cassandra was the winner hugger during the Dublin Free Hugs' Campaign. She never got tired of hugging people what means loads of energy.. and very positive one.
