We have a guest room on the first floor. There is a bed for two adults. In case there is more than three guests, chances are that you will be ask to share but that is open to discussion.
The couch in the living room is big enough to fit two. Its in a L-shape so only risk really is to end up with someone's smelly feet during the night but hey thats your own biz !

I bought my house last August and finally got the keys early December. After some redecoration, paint jobs and such, the guest room is now ready for you all !

The house is situated slightly outside Lille but well connected to Bus, Metro and tramway network.
Closest tube station being "Gare Jean Lebas" @1.7 Kil
Closest Tram stop : "Trois-Suisses" 950 meters. ( you can finish the ride by getting in bus 27 for three stops and that will save you the hassle of walking down 500 meters....)
ABOUT SMOKING : I am tolerant enough. So smokers are allowed to do so outside the house. We have a small paved backyard suitable for that activity !

I have just recently bought my house so i can resume hosting from now on after a 2 years break.
A few days after new year's eve 2009, I decided to offer myself the best 30th birthday gift ever and the direct consequence was a travel between september 3rd 2009 and sept 6th 2010.

I used to be very active in the Paris community being one of the very first to actually set up events, organised the first Couch Invasions that soon spread out to the world into cities invasions !
I have also started editing videos of the biggest events on Couchsurfing that i have attended.

How I Participate in CSI used to be more a behind the scene kind of person after i organised a lot of events in Paris in the early stages of the community there.

Philosophy
I would like to think that there is some good in every human being and so all we need is some time to get to know each other. Thats why i dont host couchsurfers for less than 3 nights and actually i had sascha for more than 5 weeks all in all.
I need to be socially entertained and appreciated. i guess we are all looking for the same thing, lets call it love ! well i have been lucky so far and intend on bringing even more optimism and fun in my next hosting session...
Music, Movies, Books
I am not much the book eater kind of guy but would die for the next book that would hold me for hours straight until i would finish it up.. like harry potter. okay i am kidding.
Movies : Dropzone, pointbreak (well especially the last one really gave me the virus). I m quite a big fan of non intellectual movies (kinda action movie when basically you just know who will be losing it big). One movie that left me quite surprised was the sixth sense... nothing really came close since that one.
Music : i am definitely interested by any sounds close from hip-hop; rap underground; old rocks and legends associated dead or live kicking, world music and certainly interested in listening to different artists.
what i dont like as musictaste is metal, hard rock..

I guess i like people with a great sense of humor, twisting words to play with them, colorful and experienced in every aspect of life. I love being challenged when it comes to friendships and learning to trust is always an interesting process to observe.

I am very interested in learning new extreme recipes
For me getting a chance to be taught will always be a good positive experience.
I am also dreaming at some point to share a dive or more with a few couchsurfers ...name a dropzone and i might join.

One Amazing Thing I've Seen or DoneI jumped from a perfect airplane the first time back in october 1999 knowing that i had the biggest party the day before!!
I organised the very first couch invasion in Rotterdam and for my departure from Paris, a pretty cool couch crawl.
Opinion on the CouchSurfing.org ProjectCouchSurfing changed a lot of things.
It gave me the occasion to know Paris much better and to share my limited knowledge with all the couchsurfers that visited me.
I also met a lot of people and visited a lot of countries thanks to it.
In a world where you dont even get to know your neighbour, i thought it was good to invest finally a bit of time in a project that helps gathering people from diverse origins, cultures, religions and spirits.
