Can now host again now that I've moved to Greenville, SC
Surfing:
I surf a lot while traveling and try to be as respectful and clean as possible. I try to leave a place nicer than it was when I arrived and share something I know about life. I've cleaned kitchens and spoke to a class as favors for CS hosts and hope to have more great exchanges. I view CS as a relationship and not a means for cheap accomidation. I have made real friends all over the world and hope to meet more.CouchSurfing ExperienceCouchsurfed all over the world from the US to Panama, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Australia, Carsurfed in New Zealand, Dubai, Hungary, Ireland, Holland, Slovenia, Austria and Iceland.

What do these numbers mean?
This summary is not a replacement for reading references; it's a quick summary to help you get started. At a glance, you can see how many references a member has, and how many of them are positive, neutral, and negative.
In the second line, you'll see how many references came from people who hosted this member, surfed with them, and traveled with them. These numbers won't always add up to the total: some references are not categorized, and some may be categorized as more than one thing.
When viewing this summary, don't jump to conclusions! Things that are negative for one person may be positive for another, and vice versa. It's important to read references carefully and evaluate what that information means to you. References (39)39Positive 0Neutral 0Negative

From Ryan Russell Charlotte Amalie, US Virgin Islands Dec 13, 2011 Positive Chris and his friends were awesome guests. Had a great time hanging out with them!
From Constantino Diaz-Duran New York, United States Sep 13, 2011 Positive I couch surfed at Chris's place for a night. He and his roommates were pretty laid back and friendly. We chatted for a while, hung out on the porch, had a few beers, and had some down time just working on our respective computers. We even had dinner together, which I wasn't expecting. The couch was really comfortable, and they had towels, etc. which they let me borrow. I'd be happy host any of them when I get back to NYC.
From CATTIEB Assen, Netherlands Dec 24, 2009 Positive Ummm, hello?! Have you seen Chris's couchsurfing experiences?... He's freakin' awesome! Heh... Seriously though, I know Chris from college and he is a cool guy. He is laid back, down to earth, and always up for lots of fun. If zou get the chance to host him, surf with him, travel with him, or just meet him--Go for it!

From Teo Vadnjal Ljubljana, Slovenia Oct 19, 2009 Positive Chris is a really friendly and positive person. He offered me so many good things, from the Tennessee Jack Daniels, to the Slovenian Lasko and finally a delicious Italian pasta. Chris is a great listener and someone you can spontaneuosly have a great time with. Very recommended. And of course, i will come one day to Tennesse, to ride some crazzy horses:)
From Zsófi and Zotya Tóth Budapest, Hungary Oct 19, 2009 Positive What a burger, what a delicious burger. And Jack Daniels with honey. This is only a few of Chris's skills!
Trustworthy, easy going but also open to talk about serious topics! I would definitely recommend him.
Best luck with your trip. enjoy!
From Randi Krueger Saint Petersburg, United States Oct 5, 2009 Positive Having Chris crash the couch was like a little blast from the past! Finally, somebody I don't have to explain my mid-west humor to! He's a funny, friendly, respectful guest and welcome in my home anytime. I enjoyed our conversations and appreciate the change of perspective that came from them.
From Elena Reichmann Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany Oct 1, 2009 Positive Chris is a out-going and totally likeable person. I had so much fun on this Belgian freshman party with the crappy sing a long 90's music. Year Country Boy =)
