Jordan Rein

Josh was a wonderful house guest! He is an interesting person that has a lot of stories about travels and such. I hope that we will stay friends for a long time, so i can hear about his new adventures. We will be visiting him soon in NY.

jordan only stayed with me for one night but i think we did a very worthy number of things in that time.. attended a gallery opening, beer, entertained guests, whiskey, went to a park, made cinnamon toast, ate a fried cinnamon roll, etc. he even got to practice his first aid skills when i fell down.

Jordan was such a great couchsurfer because he is seriously just an all around cool person. I really really enjoyed spending time with him and would totally host him again/plan to stay in touch.

 

Jordan is totally easy-going and a great guy - we went to a college party where we complained that the music was too loud and yelled at the kids to get off our lawn. I also hung out with him in Brooklyn and we danced under an overpass and ate purse pizza at 4 am. Welcome to the east coast, and you should def come back to pittsburgh soon. Suki will give you tuna-flavored kisses.

Hands down, Jordan was the most interesting guy I met while traveling through the West Coast. He's bright, witty, a great cook and one hell of a booze hound! His cat's OK too. Hope to see him again sooner than later :)

When Jordan met me and my travel partner for coffee, he went camping on a deserted driftwood beach the next day! Had a great time with him. He is funny, social, impulsive and in short: a great guy :) After a certain amount of apple juice-smacked Jim Beam we had some interesting conversations... Hope that he’ll come to Holland soon !

Jordan is a very easy going and helpful person. He introduced me to his good friend Jim Beam and showed me a very nice beach I would never have found by myself. He speaks english very clear ;-)

Met Jordan through some girls who were staying with me for a few nights. Had a blast, wish he'd come out for kareoke. Hope there's a next time!

For getting to know each other for only one night, we had good conversation and similar interests. Jordan is a cool guy and a good designer. Hopefully we'll get to hang out again someday and we can play with that kaos pad ;)

Jordan was a great host, last minute he offered his room and showed us all Portland beauties : PBR, coffee and Voodoo donut of course! Thanks again and I can't wait to see your jor'dance show in France!

Jordan was good enough to drive me to and from his place so that I could avoid lugging my suitcases on the bus. And he offered me just about everything I would need to crash at his place and feed his cat while he was out of town. Overall, he was courteous and pleasant and he has excellent taste in literature. (He gave me permission to read his books). I hope to get to know him better during my time here in Portland.

Jordan was a great host! I was sick and only had one day in Portland. He made it worth the while :)

What can I say? He's a CS pro. Great host, and fun to hang out with. Maybe bring some cat tranquilizers with you though...

As a guest, he was most understanding of my crazy scheduling issues, and he even went to a concert I had tickets for without knowing what to expect or if he would even be able to get in. Class act there as well.

 

Jordan is a great individual who embraces life to the fullest. He loves to meet new people and to share his life with others. He is kind, courteous and responsible.

Jordan is not only a perfect Couchsurfer, but also a friendly and good person: a lot of arguments of communication and the first US host who I could speak in italian with!! 2 good nights of Pabst beers, bars, videogames...and tons of rain! 3rd city, 3rd perfect experience: god bless the Pacific North West!

Jordan is my best friend forever! Such a great guy, you really would be lucky to meet him. Plus he gives the best back tickles EVER!

 

Some people travel to see the sights or shop or party or other boring stuff, but Jordan knows that the proper way to absorb the essence a new city is to eat its signature foods until you've shaved at least five years of cardiovascular health from the end of your life, and then immediately play Rock Band until 3 AM. A courteous guest and an upstanding CS'er he is. Perhaps we will meet again, in Portland or Chicago.

Simply put Jordan is super cool. He and Wendel (his adorable cat) made me feel right at home on his kidney shaped couch. Jordan showed me what Portland Summer block parties are all about, turns out they are about beer. If you see him, try to convince him to move to New York...cuz he'd love it.

Jordan saved us form sleeping on the street and then took us out for top Pizza and a street festival to boot...all rounded off with lot's of Mighty Boosh episodes. Cheers for a great stay.

There's a reason this dude is an ambassador. He's just that cool. One of those people you pretty much instantly connect with. Staying with him has been one of my best CS experiences up to date!

Jordon is a riot! Super fun and really friendly. Always makes me feel so loved!

Jordan was a good host. He's a laid-back, chill guy with a busy schedule..but he managed to show me around a little bit, tell me about Portland and even take me shopping...even though he's been hosting people back to back..what a great guy! :) His cat, Wendel, purred his way into my heart (and all over my clothes). Jordan saved me and another csers ass on a day in which we where quite down on our luck. That would be enough to say that he is a great guy. But add: he picked us up on his americanstyle truck. he speaks italian. he brought us to eat the best pizza we had in months. brought us to portlands blockparty. and he has a supercute cat.
I'm expecting you in italy soon!

Jordan is a very easy going, fun person. He toured me around the city the first night and invited me to a fun night of drinking and sushi with his friends. Really cool, laid back guy, and really personifies the friendly nature of Portland!

Jordan was such a good host, catering to my not 21-ness and everything. he is definately someone you want to hang out with when your in town, and i would definately surf/host/travel with him in the future!... but only if he brings his Nintendo! (just kidding)

Jordan surfed my couch for a few days. He is very open & easy to get along with. He's a good "TAKI" master & enjoys our very own Fiji Bitter. It's just too bad he didn't get to cook his chillie chicken dish. lmao!!!! I'd host him again if he was to come back to Fiji.

I learnt one thing from Jordon - Don't judge all Americans! Nice guy from the right side of the tracks....or left.

Im SO sorry I was busy and I couldn't show you a better time but I think you'll end up moving here anyway!

 

Jordan's an easygoing guy who's always up for a party. I liked his ipod music and never got tired of talking with him despite doing 15 days straight in the same car. That's saying a lot. The dude is a total tech junkie and that totally rocked as he booked all the couches we surfed.Cheers Jordan.

 

Jordan stayed with us for a couple of days and was a top class guest for sure! Sadly he dominated me at pool but I'm over it now :P Fun to hang with, excellent cook, very polite and sociable guy. Cheers Jordan, enjoy Aus!

He stayed at my place in Dunedin with his friend Dan for a night. They were AWESOME. Friendly, fun, and not in your face or annoying in anyway. They pitched in for dinner and helped out around the place. Also very clean. Quite a good guitar player and shared knowledge and convo on many different topics. Highly recommend to stay at your place, really adds atmosphere!! =)

I like this guy. He's alright. His house in college smelled really bad, but then they pulled a dead possum out from under it and all was well. That memory sticks out.

Jordan and his two lovely housemates, and his crazy cat, hosted me for a couple of nights. Jordan was a really great host and I had fun hanging out with him and his friends, going for a beer, eating, talking music, and getting addicted to Deal, or No Deal.
Then we had a mintox time traveling the canyonlands. As a side note, Jordo is excellent at math, and actually, really good at everything (according to him). He does make a good peanut butter n' jelly sambo.

 

Jordan was a great host. Picked me up very late at the Amtrak and showed me around. We spend a nice evening at the Alberta Street Festival and biked around the city. If you ever come to Austria, don't hesitate to contact me!

Jordan was great! he's inquisitive, friendly and has the makings of a video poker pro. We had a great time hanging out with him in Vegas and hope to see him in Portland sometime.

First CS host. He was a gent! Very open, honest guy. Made me feel welcome immediately and was great host.

Had so much fun staying with Jordan and his flat mates. What a chilled bunch of lovely, easy going fellas who are always up for a laugh, a chat and a good time anytime!
Jordan, i promise to give you a bassoon demo when you come and visit us in Oz, and maybe even let you win a few games of pool!

Jordon & his flatmates Hank & Malcolm were WICKED! Anna & I had such a good time checking out the eastside of Portland... the bars, breweries & cafes. We need to return to have the final show down in the pool room.
