Tiara

Tiara's house is really nice, as a couchsurfer you have your own room !!! Isn't it great ! His roomates are really sympathic too we laughed a lot with them 3 ! Tiara spent some time with us advising good pubs to listen to good music or brought us in a poetry slam session really interesting ! Good experience !

 

We spent 3 days with Philippe at Tiara's house and we have really good moments. We tried to show them our knowledges about French cook. Tiara and his flatmate's (Helena and Michelle) are really cool and funny people, they're all welcome in Montpellier

 

Sebastian is really attractive with a red skirt. You should convince him to wear one again :-P
Quiet roommate but really interesting to chat with him !! Come back one day in Montreal, but in the summer !

Great, intelligent chap. I could definately share a flat with him...a flat where we would lure in beautiful quebecoise, feed them great food, let them sleep over, dote on them, and never, ever attempt to push any limits. Sometimes looking is just enough. ahhh...

 

Sebastian crash at my place for two days to work on Groundcrew with Joe Edelman. And programming work they sure did, from the wake up call (my son playing with his toys) until late at night.

As a guest, he was this nice couchsurfer: good conversations at meals, doing dishes, fulling the fridge of fruits and veggies. And my son Manuel had a lot of fun spying him!

As a person, he sure inspire me with his altruistic implications in projects like CouchSurfing and Groundcrew.

Tiara is like a dormant volcano .. quiet at the first look but with a boiling interior .. he can extend a conversation on any subject and has a taste for adventure .. keep in touch Tiara!

 

Well, Tiara is a quiet guy always ready to help and talk interest for any subjects. We face the wind and cold together on the lake Temiscouata in Quebec and we "survived"... See you !!!

 

Sebastian is an open and respectful guest. we enjoyed dinner and good conversations together. hope he enjoys Montreal even winter is starting soon... keep in touch!

 

I met him in Nanaimo at the Painted Turtle Guesthouse and we spend two days in Nanaimo - walking around. Then we decided to travel together for 3 days and he is a really perfect guy!
Travel with him if you have the possiblity and you will never forget it.

After meeting at the PTG, we went cycling to the Nanaimo River (accidentally :D) and had some good conversation there! He is open and easy going, it was great to get to know you!

Tiara is a good and friendly host. He is a guru in computer open-source knowledge. But unforunately that he is also moving in 2 months time to Toronto or Halifax otherwise I would think that any couchsurfers would enjoy downtown Vancouver when surfing his couch!

What can I say? :) Certainly a memorable stay in a real community appartment, so Berlin. Tiara is a perfect host for independent couchsurfers, and it was great to spend the last evening together visiting a puppet show and a culture centre. Hoping to see you again!

Tiara totally rocked the Tech Room table & helping out with unfortunate consequences of Ubuntu on my laptop...

Then it was quite natural to ask to be hosted by him up in Wellington on my way up - the "lounge" was occupied by others but floorsurfing was fine, as well as Oblong and dinner and all that.. 2 days was too short so better get your ass back up to Europe someday :)

 

I did not talk much with you man, but I am living a reference b/c I had a good feeling about ya. You remind me of a Ninja.....smooth, stealth. Just wanted to share what I felt, with the unusual thinking. Cheers to you man and enjoy life.

Sebastian is a very nice and easy going smart guy, and I really enjoyed staying a his place and helping out making a compost bin...! He's a very calm person and I enjoyed our conversations. Though not super handy with a hammer, he definately outsmarts the most when it comes to computers! If still in Wellington he'll take you to 128, which is a great place where you'll meet even more cool people!

liked talking the night we met. i like his relaxed easy going manner. smart and very easy to converse with. good person to be around.

 

I had a good conversation with him. All in all a good guy and hard worker. He helped out considerably here at the collective. A pleasure to be around.

Sebastian a good fool, if a quiet one. Never got to talk to him till Anu decided ubuntu was a good idea on her new laptop. Fun was had by all working with partitions, funky new hardware, and external drives... righttt. :)

 

Tiara is a co-worker, an inspiration, and a very good guy. He travels the world giving his time to worthy causes, and he's outrageously competent. Plus, he knows that { BIRD + HAT = BIRDHAT }.

Sebastian rocks! He's easygoing and brings a genuine warmth with him. Great to talk to and he makes a damb fine meal! Thanks for the Zuzu! We shall meet again!

 

I really enjoyed meeting Sebastian. He's quiet, but deep and amazingly focussed. He and I had some fantastic conversations, and made me realise that he is interested in so many things and is pretty cool...he has a silent manner, but its pretty efficient and gets things done :)
I think he is a wonderful person to work around, I learnt so much of how not to get distracted from him, and he cooks some really good veggie food!!

I think he would make a wonderful and non obstrusive host and pretty much someone you can talk to anything about, and have some wonderful chats and learn quite a bit. His calmness is definitely soothing and immediately makes you feel relaxed around him...he is helpful and kind and considerate :-)

we met Tiara at the collective in Nelson. It was nice that he took time out from his projects to play pool with Karlin.

 

Sebastian is a nice geek with cool looking van with personalised paintings. We had some interesting chats at the Collective in Nelson.

Everywhere I go, it seems Tiara precedes me. I wish I'd surfed his van. It would just sync up an otherwise joyously eerie phenomena. It was good to actually meet him. I feel like my immanent future's in good hands.

after a good weekend in wellington we decided to travel together with homie (his beautiful van) throughout the south island - which was a good decision! :-)

Sebastian was my colleague in Mali, working for Geekcorps. He's a great geek, socially engaged and has firm principles. We spent a lot of great time in Bamako, hanging out at street restaurants. N'ka a te bamanankan me...

He made me sleep on the floor on my futur appartement when i was ready to sleep in my car.

Sebastian was a wonderful host, for my first couchsurfing experience. And I have been invited for two more days stay at his place before I leave Wellington. Isn't he awesome or what ? :)

Colleague/roomate @ GeekCorps Mali. I lived and worked with Sebastian for around a month in Bamako. We often spent our time at the local food spots trying to communicate with the women behind the table. He is certainly a chill guy who is quite spontaneous (shaving his very nice goatee).

 

Sebastian is a friendly and polite guest. Sebastian stayed with my girlfriend and I in our home in Canberra. He was friendly and polite. He was an interesting person with some interesting experiences and stories to tell. We would gladly host Sebastian again. Good luck in NZ Seb.
