About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to have some fun in this very short life and want the share my happiness.

ABOUT ME

I try to enjoy my life by doing only the things that I like. One of the things are travelling. I want to meet people all over the world.

I can't host always, because I spend much of my time in Malta. I also stay a few months in a year in Indonesia. And the half of the year I'm travelling.

I like history, culture and do some guiding. So when I'm in Belgium I can show you around in a lot of nice cities (Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent, Lier,...) and can tell you a lot about them.

WHAT'S A NAME

I'm very fluent in my name. That's the little artist in me. My birthname is Thierry, and in the past I used for performances on the stage Bart Hannah, sometimes I was Tim or Timmy, and now I prefer for a while my writers name Thierry Hanan. It sounds crazy ... that is it too.

PHILOSOPHY

Face your fears and live your dreams. Dare to free yourself and be a dolfin. Than you'll reach big things step by step.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books? I have a lot of them. Maybe two thousand. I have a very big passion with books, because I'm a writer. The books I like the most are for me the three books of Carol Drinkwater: 'The Olive Farm', 'The Olive Season' and 'The Olive Harvest'. When I read here books it's like I live also on an olive garden in the south of France. One of my dreams is to have a olive garden in the south and to welcome there people all over the world.
Other books I like: Golem (Gustav Meyrink), Kasper Valentijn (Willem Melchior), London and Paris (Charles Dickens), Face Au Mur (Filip de Pillecyn), Nadja (André Breton), At Swim, Two Boys (Jamie O'Neill) ...

And music? I like a lot of music. From classic and opera to pop/rock and soul, and sometimes I listen also to trance.

Movies? The movies I liked the most is 'Aime ton père' with Gérard Depardieu. Others: 'Purple Rain' with Prince, 'The Beach' with Leonardo DiCaprio, 'Ben X' from the Belgium moviemaker Nic Balthazar, 'Sommersturm' the german coming-out movie, 'The Killing Room' and I'm crazy from the comedy 'Rat race' with John Cleese, Rowan Atkinson and Whoopi Goldberg.
