Tiziano hosted me and my friend Laura for 3 nights in Padova. He is a very friendly, active guy. He showed us beautiful Padova, took us to the movie theatre, special pizza places (best pizza!) and to some really fun places. Ill never forget all the students that wednesday night, or how much fun you can have with spritz ;P
Thank you for everything, and guys: Not only Venice, but Padova is beautiful as well! ;)

It was great being hosted by Tiziano. He was incredibly hospitable, made me and my friend a lovely spaghetti and a delicious espresso. I really enjoyed the hospitality, the conversations and the tour around the city. I doubt whether you can meet anyone more hospitable. I hope he will keep this CS spirit up by hosting loads of people.

Tiziano is a very selfless and kind guy and by our first encounter I have found him very interesting to talk with.
He is absolutely open minded which I liked the most!

the people the places and the culture.
i stayed with him after he answered my sos and yeah he welcomed me with open arms.
showed me his toan by the night on a bike, took me to a free movie, shared his life with me for a few days, even helped me when i got pretty sick and yeah put up with me for longer than i said i would stay.

For both us was the 1st experience of local couchsurfing...and for me the 1st at all! I really felt like home in his place, because tiziano is a sensitive and sweet person and i felt him close to my way of being. If you learn to respect his personality, you' ll enjoy each other!

Tiziano hosted me, my friend and another American who later on joined us in the car we've rented. He was a great nice person and helped us a lot even after we left his place! he cares a lot and tries to give a good home to everyone he can whenever he can! thanks for everything!! :)

Tiziano is a really great guy!
He has a cool house in Padova and he surly gives his guests a nice and warm hospitality! He is a really nice guy and he helped us alot with all the maps and the directions we needed. Other than that he was really helpfull helping us finding a couch at the last minute in another town in Italy!

Tiziano is the man! He is extremely courteous and really great about helping surfers around the area. He is basically a living encyclopedia of Trento. His house is like a hostel as there are usually other surfers around. This really adds to the experience of traveing and meeting new people from around the world. Thanks again Tiziano! nice guy, very CS involved

Hosting 3 girls at the same time is a difficult mission, but Tiziano could do it :) Although we had plans with other CS friends for most of the time and he had a lot of things to do, we managed to spend some time together which was very nice. He always knows where to go and what to do to have fun! Thank you for everything!

Tiziano hosted me. He's a funny guy, open minded and has always people around which is cool. Tiziano introduced me to his friends and took me to a pizza dinner with some other students. It was fun exploring Padova with his bike, thanks again for that and thanks for the good information you gave me about sightseeing in Padova and Venice.

Tiziano was my first CS experience. And I am soo happy for that. He has so many couchsurfers at his place all the time but he still manages to be a real energy bunny ( in a really good way):D Tiziano introduced us other CS people in Padova and let us try a specific Padova drink ( I can´t remember the name :S, but It was good) I loved the last evening at the piazza del Erbe. Afterwards we sent friends home and then he gave me a ride on his bicycle believe it or not but it was sooooo cool.I also have to mention that he is a good cook!! Thank you Tiziano.

I went to Tiziano's for a week-end. It was realy cool, i mean he took time, he showed us Padova, his streets, buildings, telling us a bit history... We went to good places to eat, to take aperetivo, ice creams... And plus, he gave me so much advices to prepare my next step in Croatia!! He is smiling, he takes care of people, i realy enjoyed my time with him! I hope you had time to asnwer your 30 references ;)and if you need to mow grass again, tell me 'cause maybe i could help... It was a short and sweet CS experience with Tiziano in Padua. I got to meet other CS as well from Italy and France.We went out for a lovely dinner together which was gr8 fun.I highly recommend visitng padua to anyone visitng Venice.Tiziano's place is an international "ghetto"..! with people from all over the world coming over.Many thanks for your hospitality and you are always welcome in India.

To stay at Tizianos place was just wonderful. Although he has hosted so many people he is still so interessted in getting to know you as if you where his first couchsurfer.

...spent two wonderful summer days with Tiziano. The CS meeting he organizes every year for the 'Festa del Redentore' was really great,...met lots of interesting people, squeezed through the crowd in venice, walked the bridge, admired the fireworks and the plentiful party boats on the grand canal, had some good italian food on the canal, and after partying we slept on the beach.... oh, and all along the way was SPRITZ,...awsome.... I'd recommend everybody to stay with Tiziano,...great guy, great friends in the superbe town of Padova...

After having read a lot about and from Tiziano we finally got to know each other in person when we stayed in his cool and international apartement for two nights. Tiziano went out of his way to make sure we have a good time, provided us with lots of helpful as well as interesting information about Padova, fed us lovely home cooked food and even tought Birgit a typical Italian receipe. It was a very welcome change to stay in such an ecologically friendly household and whitness the respect Tiziano shows to his environment and our planet. We had lots of fun listening to his stories and sharing a big CS dinner with several other surfers on our last night. We hope to meet up again soon for more fun and maybe even a grape harvesting this time - the only thing we don't need to repeat is the bike accident ;o)

Tiziano hosted me in Padova for 4 days.

I had the best time at his place! He has a lovely apartmnet in a gorgeous location and we had a great CS evening on the first day itself.
And then he organised this fabulous grape harvesting event, which inarguably was the highlight of my italy trip!

He is a very relaxed host and helps you in every way possible. Very kind and easy going. Makes you feel at home!

Tiziano is a very enthusiastic CS member! He adjusted quite a big part of his life to be able to host people. Staying at his place is like staying at home. You have all you need, and he is quite flexible to help out or give advice. Next time we are in Padova with Vera we will knock Tiziano's door again for sure ;)

Thanks for your hospitality and warmth! We surfed with Tiziano for 2 nights, and the experience was great! Tiziano is a friendly, helpful, and fun person. He is also like a walking enciclopedia - this guy knows so much about the world it is unreal=). Makes a delicious spaghetti carbonara=). Tiziano lives in a very nice big apartment conveniently located in the center of the city. And the bakery near his house...mmmmmmm)).

Tiziano is way too helpful not to appreciate this person is next to you! Whatever you ask, he will try to find a solution. As well, he is very warm, has a good sense of humour and also is broad-minded person interested in many things going around in the world. I guess u can talk to him for hours and hours if u have time, for sure:D and he has a funny way of dancing, u would love to see :D jooking, my friend, just joking ;P

Tiziano hosted me and my sister during the Venice Carnival. At that day he was also organizing the Venice Carnival CS Meeting. Despite that he has took great efforts to make our visit most memorable and comfortable. He has shown us around Padua, lent us bicycles to explore it ourselves and even invited us to ski in the Alps! I am really happy that at the end our visit turned out in such a brilliant way. Tiziano, you are a wonderful person and I will be forever grateful to you. I will let you feel welcome any time you'll be around. And - we have to ski that hill some time! See you next Carnival, or sooner! ;)

Tiziano lent me maps and guidebooks, without which I wouldn't have had the slightest idea what to do or see during my short stay in Padova! He also lent me his bike, which other than being incredibly nice of him, was a really fun way to see the city. I really enjoyed padua - had a bit of an adventure in the tropical downpour..
ended up getting our tonne of fruit and veg home from the local market in a pram we found and had to tell all the confused paduans "non c´e bimbo!"
(nella carrozzina)!!
... i will never forget the amazing party with all the operatic singing and laughter, true italian-style!

Sono stato ospite nella lussuosa tenda di Tiziano. Spaziosa quanto basta, alta il giusto per non restarci incastrato. Tiziano si è rivelato un ottimo anfitrione: non ha tirato calci né russato. CONSIGLIATO! :)

Ciò detto, aggiungo che conosco Tiziano ormai da mesi, e ne ho potuto apprezzare la grande disponibilità sia come ospite sia come organizzatore. E' peraltro un esperto di CS (ambasciatore, mica baubaumiciomicio), quindi può rispondere a (quasi) qualsiasi domanda vi venga in mente al riguardo. Bloody good guy!

Although Tiziano was so busy with upcoming exam and tired after work, he generously agreed to host me and my friend while short stay in beautiful Padova. We spent there really nice time, especially evening "square-gathering" was impressive! Thanks a lot for such a nice CS experience:)

Tiziano is a really nice guy and good host! He answered to my last minute request and I spent a great time with him. Thanks to him I discovered Padova which is a really beautifull city. Good deal to spend days in Venice and evenings in Padova! We went to a meeting of couchsurfers, erasmus and a lot of other people speaking english : it was a so nice night with champagne! First of all :) I'm new member of coachsurfing society :) and really important stymulus to join it was my stay at Tiziano place :) It was really really great :)
Tiziano is one of the nicest, most cheerful, welcoming and sweetest person i ever met :) And one of the best things about him is that after chating with him for few hours, you feel as if you have been really good friends for ages, just haven't seen each other for some time :) So i'm really happy that i came to Italy and stayed in place of Tiziano :) And i hope we will meet again :)
P.S. His place is reaaaaaally great :) P.P.S in Padova i got the possibility to experienced real Italian culture :) Or i think it is real Italian culture :) And Tiziano contributed to this a lot :)

Tiziano is a good guy you can get along with easyly. We have many friends in common and all of us agree he is simpatic and sincere. So far we havent share to much experience, but I hope do it becouse I will live in his city 8 months more.

Tiziano was my first CS host, and I must admit I was lucky :-) He hosted both me and my flatmate for 5 days. However after reading his profile (hosted hundreds!) my expectations were different –I expected him to be extrovert. So it came as a positive surprise that my image of him did not fit into who he really is. Instead of being an energy bomb as I imagined him, he turned out to be a nice, calm person, simple, welcoming and trustworthy. I guess he won me over with his never-ending tolerance and the fair attitude with zero prejudice. Enjoyable evenings with him, many of his friends, CS meeting and hiking are just bits and pieces of what he left as a memory.

We’ve firstly met on Hospitality Club, when I was looking for a host in Italy. The couch Tiziano offered for me and my friend was really comfortable. Also it was amazing to find so many Lithuanian things at his place (a calendar, a scarf and especially the big flag!). We’ve chatted, watched photos and made pancakes with chocolate sauce. He gave us some useful tips on traveling with Italian trains. I really wish to meet Tiziano again (Italy or Lithuania even)!

It was first time when I did couchsurfing and it was great experience. In few days I met very nice people and I was impressed how couchsurfing could work. Also, I was really happy to stay in Tiziano's place cause he is a great partner in singing karaoke! Thank u for everything again!

Tiziano was a spectacular host. If you could tell already for his profile, he takes hosting very seriously. He provided us maps and also lent us two bikes (including his own!) for a trip. If you are staying in the area, I would HIGHLY recommend staying with this friendly soul.

Well, about Tiziano... I think he definitely is the best Country Ambassador Italy could wish for. I almost can't remember a moment or day seeing Tiziano WITHOUT guests. He is, in my opinion, totally addicted to hosting people. Which is, ofcourse, a good thing. Tiziano has a really sweet, calm and caring character and he will always try to help you in any way he can. That makes him the friend of many many people. I enjoyed alot of meetings in Tiziano's company, but I can say the Verona Summer Garden Party was absolutely the best one. A good closing after almost 6 months sharing the same city and same CS community. Tiziano, keep up the good work and I definitely think you should soon change the fact that you haven't never ever been to the Netherlands. I'm waiting here for you!!! ;-)

If you are walkking by the street and see Tiziano he doesnt look like the rest of the people, he is always smiling, and at the same time is very simple. I enjoy a lot my time in Padova going out for dinner, for some spritz and also to de "pista de ghiaccio" with Tiziano. Thanls a lot and see you next time.

I was hosted by Tiziano for two days while doing a Veneto tour with a friend of mine. Tiziano is a friendly, calm and well organised person. It's easy to chat with him and his house is very couchsurfer-friendly.

I met Tiziano in occasion of a CS sledging day in the Dolomites and hosted him afterwords in Bolzano. He is a calm and relaxed person with a wide range of interests you can talk to for hours, arguments won't extinguish. As one of the most active CS-members over all he will not only tell you about his experiences, but give you some really useful and interesting travel tips and hints. Apart from this, it was an overall great experience knowing Tiziano and I hope to meet him again soon.

Tiziano has an autentic CS spirit!He organized the New Year's event at Venice and we were 31 person's eating pasta and having fun at San Marco's "Piazza"!!the people who participated at the event was really coll and funny!Then some of us returned to Padova and we slept at the confortable Tiaziano's couch!I'm sure I will come back to Padova because it seems to be a ineresting cit and Tiziano it's a friendly person!

I don't want to say "banal" phrases about Tiziano. He is a great personality. That's it. It's a real pleasure to meet people like him.

 

Easy-going guy, picked me up from the square in Padova, introduced to his friends, took me and my friend to a cs event which was taking place that day and on top of that when he got my phone call at 1am asking if he could host me cause my train was at 5am he didn't hesitate and said yes right away. Genuine CS spirit inside. You're welcome buddy anytime you come to Krakow.

 

I met Tiziano in Galiga and then several times in Veneto, one day on the snow together too! He's really active in CS, a true ambassador for Veneto, I'm happy of this! Looking forward for his Tiramisù competition...

Tiziano is a flippin amazing host! He saved me at the last minute and took me in, for what turned out to be an awesome 4 days! His knowledge and hospitality were amazing and he took me on the best midnight bike tour ever! lol I also went with him to the 3rd Dolo meeting and it was great!! Met this guy during one of many alcoolic meeting, so typical in venetian cities:) we introduced each others to respective associations (Cs and AEGEE), and even when I moved to Spain he has aways been very keen on helping giving infos, from his superior experience in project.

 

Tiziano was my very first host:-) I went to Padova with both my mom and son, and he hosted all 3 of us(!)While staying at his place, we got to know a lot of other couchsurfers! He took us to a CS meeting at a local pub in Padova where we meet a lot of other couchsurfers and tried the local very popular drink Spritz!
From the very first contact I had with Tiziano, he provided a lot of great information about transport and how to get around in Padova. He is really trying very hard to be great host for many many couchsurfers!! When staying at his place you always meet a lot of people! He hosted 2 more people while we stayed at his place! 2nd day I was there, I made some Danish cousine for all the people staying at his place! We all had a very nice time and a great night!

I started my trip thinking of breezing through Italy to spend more time in the east. Then I thought about staying a little bit in Venice and see the surroundings. I ended up staying four days in Padova...
I never dreamed of participating to the european mobility day in Padova ; i never thought I would eat sushi for the opening of a new restaurant in town, with people from all over the world ; I never knew I would ride a bike to the hills south of Padova, with a personal guide...
All this I did,thanks to Tiziano ; he is a great host, smiling, helpful and very nice!!

I met tiziano at first in Rome at a couple of meetings that i was organizing. I had soon a very good sensation of him: kind, trustable, helpful etc. Then last summer it happened to meet him again at Sziget for one evening (REM concert) and i did a guided tour for him on the island :)

Tiziano is the guy you can meet by couchsurfing for sure =) He is a very nice and careful person. We met in Budapest and also we had some great experiences together in Padova. Ci vediamo! xxxx

 

At least somebody how loved being on lake Balaton. Tiziano was wise enough not to go just to Budapest but tried to see the rest of the country. I showed him parts of lake Balaton and I had a great day. I enjoyed his company so much that I drove him to his host. We have to do this again... Maybe in front of Campanile???

Tiziano is the best couchsurfer ever! he is completly open-minded, nice, open to everybody needing not only a couch, but a friend in italy. he is very active, he always organizes a lot of events for us and he s always ready to join a meeting in verona. therefore i think he s the best Italian country ambassador we could have!

Tiziano was very welcoming, friendly, and a good cook. The first night I stayed at his place we went out for pizza and drinks and got to meet some of his friends and local CSs. He is an excellent host, up for chatting and helpful with advice on what to see and do in Padova as well as Venice. Thank you Tiziano :)

it was a real honor to be able to host Marta and Tiziano. they brought me a really fine italian wine and cooked me a tasty italian pasta too. sadly they just had the opportunity to stay in pécs for one night. you are welcome back anytime ;)

Tiziano è una ragazzo bravisimo! I met him at the camping, and ask for place in Padova, an he say no problem!!! he hosted me and other 2 boys from France! He is a careful, kind person. At the moment I went to his house we were 9!! He has too much PAZIENZA! he lent me some guides for going to Venezia and also explained me how to arrived there!!! Tiziano is an absolute doll. He is clean and organized and sweet and funny! Not only did he take me and my friends into his home last minute, he also made us fabulous pancakes and was a kind and trusting friend throughout the whole stay! I wish to see him again someday!

WOW!! Tiziano is a fabulous ambassador for couch surfing! He organised a huge cs party in Venice so we could join the annual festival and see the fireworks.
He is very passionate about the CS project and has a really big heart, offering others his home when they are stranded, even sleeping on the floor himself! I hope you get a chance to visit the 300 people from 40 different countries you have hosted including me!

Tiziano organized the Redentore Night Meeting in Venice on 19 july 2008. My best Italian experiance so far! All his organization about the meeting was fantastic! Friendly person and helpfull, reading his profile is amazing, hosted so many people!

I met him in Venice on 19 july, at the Redentore Night Meeting with many other C.S. members. Great experience: all his organization about the meeting was fantastic! He's my C.S. hero!

Not only did Tiziano save my day by helping me out to find a way from Zurich to Verona when all trains where on strikeg, he also hosted me for a night in Padova. We went out to an alternative but very cozy place with other Couchsurfers as well. It was a great pleasure to stay at Tizianos place. See you soon around in Norway :)

One of the main pillars of CS community in Italy. Tiziano is calm and relaxed, always ready to help everyone whenever it's necessary. It was great to have him in Pistoia Pizza Meeting. In the night, and even being tired, he took me in bicycle along Pádua's center, telling me all the little stories arround the thown, then I went to sleep to his house that is the PERFECT PALACE OF THE CS! With maps, guides, photos, posters with indications, everything very organized for the comfort of his guests.

Tiziano has an unique personality! Priceless member of the Italian CS community, he was very kind and helpful answering to the message I posted in the Venice group. It was really nice meeting him at my first Italian couchsurfing meeting in Padova and then in Pistoia at the pizza party!

I spent 2 nights in Padova at Tiziano's house and I think he's a perfect tourist guide: he's full of good advice and he spent his time with me as soon as he could introducing me to the beauties of his wonderful city.

Tiziano hosted me and two other friends for one night on our way from Milan to Rome. Although our late arrival and early departure the next day didn't allow us to get to know each other well, from the very beginning I got the feeling that he is a nice guy by all means. I would definitely like to meet him again, he is always welcome in Athens!!

..we had great time for the weekend in rovinj; we exchanged travel experiences and the passion for photography. easy going and relaxed guy..one day we'll have a spritz in padova! :)))

First time we met Tiziano was during the 1st Little Dolomites meeting.
Soon after, we participated his organized meeting. Well- since the weather conditions weren't perfect for a hiking picnic-meeting, Tiziano created quickly a back-up meeting in Este which was very well done!
From the quality time that we spent together laughing and chatting about different subjects, we can say that he is reliable, funny, friendly and easygoing person.
His devotion as an Ambassador in this Project is truly remarkable.

It has been more then a year I stayed at Tiziano's home and I've always had on my conscience that I haven't left a reference for this great guy! He hosted me in Padova on a very short notice. He's really enjoyable to talk to, tells you what to see and do in Padova and really makes you see how CS works because of people like him. My friend Juste and I were at his place only for a couple of days, but we really felt like being in our own home. Moreover, Tiziano showed us all the most beautiful places in Padova, which we found really great just because of our host:)

I'm impresed with his patience for me:D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aftrer 2 meetings in the pass we decided to meet in the mountains again to enjoy beautiful slopes... I must say that I could't pick better company. From the moment he picked me up from Trento with his AWSOME SUZUKI 50 years old jeep till he dropped me in the middle of nowhere:D:D:D I enjoyed every second spent with him. He is kinda person who:
-speaks the best ever italian accent:D
-can drive for over 10km without fuel(and makes the car stop exactly at the gas station:D)
-skis without gloves(broavo!)
-hungs around with eastern europeans faaar too much( even worse than me with brazilians and italians:)
-wakes up when first sun light shows up (and wakes ME up 10 mins before he is ment to-what a sin!!!)
-keeps saying: OH MY GOSHKA, CHE BELLO, NOI and beats my arm when I make fun of it(!)
-drinks crap german cappucino with the best apple struddel
-keeps having troubles with finding way back (one night wee ENTERED Bolzano 3 times before we found our host:)
-keeps changing music on his MP3 player when everyone wants to listen to something:D
-falls asleep in the middle of the party after all day skiing:D
-makes me to ski on black slopes what is really dangerous for other pple:D
-loves CURVA PERICOLOSA :D:D:D

I met him at my faculty, he's a buddy like me, we help foreign students. He's helpful, nice, punctual and a good organizer!

firstly it is obvious that this is a patient and generous guy... who else could host so many people and meetings!?
...tizi is genuinely straightforward person, very good tour guide!! (even tho i took the piss!)
then we partied it up! in thiene with eleo, and he was definately an important contibutor to our group!
he has great long red socks!! and is very organised! and is really good photographer... good impression, trustworthy definately.

I stayed at Tiziano's home for 2 nights. I think he's the most organized couchsurfer in the world! He was full of nice travel stories and good advice about Padova (what to see, how to move, where to eat.. ), and he also lent me many utilities such as maps, tourist guides, buses timetable ec... He also took me to a pizzeria and for a fascinating night tour of the city.

Tiziano is smart, sweet and nice. He knows a lot of intresting things. He hosted me in Padova and he brought me to a christmans concert!! This was my first experience as a guest!!Great!!

Tiziano, whose high hosting reputation arrived to me through HC, was coming to Milan for a pre-Christmas aperitivo. I gladly invited him to stay at mine, and I was not disappointed at all. Very nice and pleasant guy, with whom you can discuss about everything, from serious stuff to some less-cerebral things :) and he appreciated my dark humour. Definitely to recommend, so much that I'm gonna host him on NYE as well!

Tizaono host me and Bebe at the same time in Padova and he cook for us for the first night. It's first time I using Italia style to prepare coffee and It is fun. He really taking care for environment, recycling. Keep it on!

Finally met during Bremen Invasion, really a special guy! I can feel in him the same need I have to travel for escaping from the provincialism. I like the curious way he looks around as you can see in his intense photo shots. Sincere eyes, bright smile, beautiful soul!

A really nice guy with a generous spirit. He has a kind of energy around him that just puts you at ease, and it make him a really easy person to get along with. He's also very organized and experienced at couchsurfing, and seems to have contingency plans for everything. He has maps and train schedules, and turn by turn written instructions for how to get to and from his house.

Speaking of his house - it's just about the most ideal location, ever. There's a produce store and an excellent bakery/pastry shop literally next door, and the bus stop is just around the corner. He has wireless Internet, and a kitchen large enough for a few people to comfortably eat, cook, and hang out - it really brings people together, especially when there are other couchsurfers staying at the same time.

I consider myself quite lucky to have been hosted by Tiziano, especially as my request was short notice. It was a great experience, and it gave me a lot of good ideas for how I could be a better host when I get back home. Thanks!

Tiziano hosted me for 1 night. Padova can be proud of its citizen such as Tiziano!!! He is a great person, ready to help everybody, even the last minute, a guy whom u feel very comfortable with. Great dinner, your amaizing friends, your amaizing guests, your wonderful falling apart bike - all that i'm gonna remember and keep as a reason to be back definitely :-) Thanks for your hospitality.

Tiziano was a wonderful host for my friend and me during our visit to Padova and Venice. He took us out to meet his friends for a drink on student night and was very brave by letting us (two Dutch girls) make him pasta. Our last day he let us taste hot chocolate Padova style, yummie!

 

My stay at his house in Padova was very short but I got to know him enough to make me wanna meet him again! :) For sure, as promised!

We knew him with hospitality club. He save us from sleeping in a train station because one of our host were not able to host us anymore and said it a the last minute (he said it like 1 day after we should meet him). THX A LOT FOR YOUR HELP!!!! Great guy! very nice and he can speak french!!! so perfect host for us lol

 

I met Tiziano in a meeting in Padova. He is very friendly, helpfull and trustble guy. I will meet him again for sure during "Bremen Invasion" :) and we will have more time to know better each us.

Tiziano is an execellent host. My sister Ági, and my friend Kriszti and me stayed his lovely flat for 3 nights. It was a great choice to surf with him, because he knows everything about the city, the best pizza and party places, and everything about the hole area. He has a lot stuff from Veneto.

Tiziano hosted us for a long weekend in Padova. He was an excellent host. He showed us around in his city, what he had great knowledge about. He told lot interesting details about Padova's architecture and history. He prepared a delicious carbonara spagetti dinner for us, and started our days with fine capuccino.
Saturday night he took us to the best pizza place in the city, where we had a great meal. After we had some Limoncello and Pálinka shots with his friends and went out to a crasy party-night, where we had lot fun : )

I surfed Tiziano's room with Doris for some days, don't even remember cause it went by so fast... :) Me and Tiziano are very different people, I'm totally disorganized,unplanned and extremely lazy, thus our beginning was a bit cold. But that is the beauty of CS, even being so different, Tiziano tried everything he could and couldn't do to help me and Doris on our first night in Padova! I stayed in Tiziano for 3 nights and I can tell that he is a great guy. Always helping, giving tips, maps,taking us out for pizza. I met Tiziano the first time during the meeting in Arquà! It was a really great meeting but...the day before, too much wine!:-))) But then I had the chance to meet him during other Cs Meeting in trieste and Slovenia. We had a lot of fun and we talked a lot about our experiences during the Olimpic Games in Torino. During the last meeting in trieste for the Barcolana, Tiziano drank just water.... TOO BAD!!!! very nice guy. we met up in padova for some drinks and dinner and he was very nice to talk to and hang out with. hopefully we can meet up again and share some stories.

I met Tiziano during the first CS_treviso meeting and then for the Barcolana day in Trieste! He's a very open minded young man and it's easy to stay with him.He has a lot of ideas to join and join the people! Stay tuned with him and you'll see!

 

When I wanted to surf his couch he was away in Florence but he told me that I should go there and I did... We met up and he even got me in touch with that great community there...

We had a very short and busy stay at Tizano's place, but in 24 hours we shared two meals, and some smiles. He was very generous to take Lara and I in last minute, even though he already had a full house. A very kind guy. Sorry things got rushed, but hope to meet you again. Not much to be added to this already astounding list of references so I will say that it's all true, Tiziano is a great host and an amazing contributer to CS.

I loved staying with him, Padova was the highlight of my travels through Italy - thanks to Tiziano.

I’m very happy, that staying in Padova by Tiziano was my first couchsurfing experience, because it was such a great start! Tiziano was very nice and in this days with him I met a lot of funny people from all over the world!
Tiziano is the perfect hoster, he lent me his bike, gave me all the information about the city I needed, we cooked together… thanks!!

 

I met him in several CS meetings, we spoke about Russia, travel, CS experience. He gave me a lot of advices about my future CS journey.

Tiziano is very caring, pleasant, optimistic and helpful host who the day after I arrived gave me the opportunity to explore the city as the local people do it- with bicycle!:) So we made a bike-tour through the city, had a lunch together and then went to central square where absolutely coincidentially could watch a parade due to scholars' annual sport games which resulted in exam of Italian geography for me!:) I did very well (19/20) I had a really great time in Padova and I hope to meet you in person again! And I appreciate a lot that we have become very good friends now and keep in touch since you are sincere and I find it easy to trust you and share my beliefs and ups and downs with you!

We spent a grat day in the sunshine, with lots of wine, food and talks...although we both turned to water after some hours :) I loved his easy-going attitude, he's a person with lots of interests and experiences to share. I hope to see you soon somewhere between Trieste and Padua!

After meeting so many wonderful and interesting people at the camp, having him and Federica as my first guests was the best "start" one could imagine. If you like more cake ;-) - at least I think you liked it - and see something of my region - simply come again!

 

Tiziano is an experienced and exceptional coucsurfer, he surfed and hosted so many people without becoming jaded or burnt out, that it's hard not to be impressed. On top of it all, a pleasant, nice, polite and fun guy, quick to respond to my last-minute request even if he was not able to host me. It was truly a pleasure to meet him and chat with him at the the CS meeting in Treviso, I hope our paths cross again soon!

 

Tiziano has been so kind to help me and my guest to find a place in Padova and lately we met at the, let me say, "wonderful" 1st Treviso CS meeting. Joe and I couchsurfed with Tiziano for two nights. He is a great guy and a good friend. He was a great host and is very dedicated to couchsurfing. We enjoyed meeting Tiziano and hope to meet up with him again back in Italy or when he comes to the states.

 

Well what should I say? Tiziano lives the spirit of couchsurfing. For newbies there is much to learn from him. Not only did he and his lovely girlfriend show me the city by bike at the very first night, he also knows everything about every building and of course where the good restaurants are. Thanks for the good pizza and teaching me how to order the right one ;) And also he organized a CS meeting during the time I was there, so I was able to meet some other CS-members.

 

I hosted Tiziano for 2 nights in Munich. You can learn a lot from this handsome and intelligent person (even how to cook :-)) , and Tiziano thanks a lot for the delicous Pasta-Dinner and Prosecco last evening and also for showing your great pictures from Italy! Tizziano is a soul of hospitality in Padova. He has a beautiful place with lots of space for guests and he does fill it with all kinds of people making his own home a real meeting place for the travellers.

Padova is a city near to Venice and I didn't think to go there, but Tiziano shows me some maps and books about and Padova is really nice. I knew Padova in one day and Venice in outher one... Tiziano is a very smart, helpful and friendly guy, a true traveller. To be honest, I was surprised to hear about his hitch hiking tour through the Baltics... (for me it's a lot to expect from an italian, hehe, sorry!). I definately recommend meeting him!!!

 

I've been chatting a long time before we met with Tiziano and he always seemed to me he was very dedicated and that he incarnated the spirit of CS very well, and that he was a very active member. BUT, as a matter of fact, despite living both in the north of italy, till may 2007 our paths didnt cross at all, although i had a sneak preview with the good Giuseppe. So when I told him I was visiting Padova and Venice he responded eagerly, breaking a quite long hosting fasting period. The room is huge and the mattress is very comfortable, and in the morning you get waken up by birds singing. We spoke a lot then Giuseppe arrived with great ice cream... after that we left him at his commitments and we toured a bit this beautiful city but then he reached us, explained how troublesome has been putting a bus int downtown. Eating pizza at Bella Napoli with an entire rugby female team was awsome and then we walked home. After a good sleep we went for breakfast, we knew Roberto and then left for Mestre, he was doubtful before but in the end we came and we had great fun meeting Karim, Icio and lots of others people there you know Mestre is really crowded with guests... our nice trip unfortunately came up to an end but it's just the first round. Tiziano is definitely a good guide, he knows every brick of his city and of the neighbour cities. He also has a very vast culture in every field, be it music, art, architecture... I know I'm losing my time recommending him and his couch because you already know but still I want to be singing in that choir. Thanks for everything Tiziano and we're waiting open arms in Turin for you and whoever wants to come!

 

I gave Tiziano a ride to the BerlinBeachCamp 2006. Without the help of the navigation system on his mobile phone, I would have had big problems to find my way through Berlin. Thank you very much for that. Tiziano is a smart guy who is also very talented in languages. Furthermore he is the CS hero in Italy. Tiziano, I wish you all the best in your final exams.

Tiziano hosted me on very short notice. He shared his house just like tat and also his U2 collection we both are big fans. I can only recommend you to stay with him when your near Padova, he has a lot to offer for couchsurfers when it comes to sharing couchsurfing experiences and Padova information.

2007: Tiziano came to the Bologna meeting and then later gave an excellent tour of Padua and we had a nice chat over a coffee. He's a very active CSer, long in the program and certainly a very good Italian embassador. I am sure we will meet again - it's a small CS world!!

I ve met Tiziano in Rome. We re visiting the city toegether for one day and spent some time in the evening meetings of HC/CS. He s very helpfull and friendly. I hope he ll go to Gdansk someday, which is really nice place to visit! Ciao;)

 

At BBC Tiziano was only one of many but how good is it to always meet twice.
First time we met again at WWC was at the Volunteer workshop, and as he has already written in his comment for me, we both had very similar ideas about how to organize things. Many people where just sitting around at that workshop and listening, but Tiziano was one of the active ones - right attitude.
After that workshop we met again at the breakfat table of elaija and olao. Originally that was not planned but I just ended up with different hosts cause... that's another story...
...and I must say, I was happy to be hosted at the same place like him because our breakfast together with the rest of hour little big family wher for me one of the highlits of the WWC.
The morning times were always a mix of just chilling, interesting conversation, crazy stories and and and... and tiziano definitely took a big part in making those mornings something special.
What more to say... my words do not always flow... I think you can definitely trust Tiziano and if he is as a great host as he is a guest than I have definitely to visit him!!!
Finally, one more thing to say:
I am very unhappy that I am not living near Frankfurt-Hahn anymore because I got very sad when I saw that I friend of mine hosted him and his girlfriend in that area. What a missed opportunity...

My first CS experience was with Tiziano and it was as best as it could be! Very very nice person, helpful, trustful...I really enjoyed my stay with him! The bed was comfy, to be in his company is really enjoyable, and it gave me the chance to meet other CS there because he was hosting other people. Wonderful time! Thanks Tiziano!! I like Italians and some of my favorite HC persons are Italian. Roberto, Luca Boccia, Italo, Corrado to name afew. Tiziano is no exception to this rule. He was one of the members of the Padova gang that saved our trip and made it wonderful. He was first there to greet us when we stepped out from bus, we had lunch with him and he gave us great advices. We met him later in the evening and few times during our stay in Venice / padova. He even organized a picnick in a beautiful place where we could enjoy great views, nice company, wine, pasta....ITALY. He is super cool guy. This is what CS and HC is all about.

I have no idea why I haven't visited him yet - on my list of to dos in 2007! ;)

Tiziano was going to host me in Padova, but I made a mess with the dates and ended up satying with one of his friends. We met in person at my host's place and I found him a really nice and sweet guy. And he also forgave me for all the mess hihihi....

 

We met in Bruxelles HC meeting (2005), Berlin Beachcamp (2006), and later I noticed him around on hitchwiki.. We got lost in Brussels, but somehow managed to get on the right track again - perhaps more luck then skill? ;-) Anyway
he's a good guy, calm and relaxed, good fun and definitely trusthworthy!

Long time without seeing you tiziano and i have to say, i was really happy and honoured to surf the great couch in your guest room, to disturb your sweet neighbours and to have the chance to see so many things packed a little bit more than a day.. i ll always remember san antonio basilic and my visit to venice...tiziano, i am glad that i kept this promise and your risotto was definitely worth the ride ! i guess i ll work on this to be able to offer an even better choice to my italian couchsurfers...take care and blue skies ! see you in lisboa?

 

Great host in Padova. Couchsurfing with Tiziano was my "first time" as a guest, and it was cool. His couch (actually a mattress) is very comfortable :) He is a very interesting person, and together with Roberto and Simone you will definitely have a great time in Padova. Afterwards we met also in Riga NY camp and I hope to meet again some time!

Tiziano made me feel at home right away. I didn't get to spend a lot of time with him because he was working but he was really helpful with maps and directions and I felt very comfortable surfing at his place. I was going to surf a second time when I returned to Padova but Tiziano had exams and wasn't able to host me, but he still went out of his way to try and find me another host (he didnt find anyone available but it's the thought that counts). Also when I was hosting with him, he tried finding me a host in Rome with all his connections and he gave me many good tips on couchsurfing. Thankz Tiziano!

 

Only good times with Tiziano!! Padova is a great town outside of Venice, and Tiziano is an excellent host!!! We cooked some good italian food and got to try some exotic liquors!!! We miss you!

Homemade gelati. I stayed with Tiziano in Padova and experienced a really warm welcome. We had a family dinner complete with homemade gelati (that was made on the spur-of-the-moment, even though they also served Easter cake, just because I mentioned that I liked gelati!) Tiziano was really easy-going, friendly, and so enthusiastic about making sure I experienced all Padova had to offer. You can tell that he loves his hometown and wants other people to enjoy it. Not only that, but he hosted me while he had another CS guest, SURFCAM, and Cam and I became friends too! So, now I have two new friends!! I really hope that I can host Tiziano someday wherever I end up. He's an honest, unassuming, generous guy and the kind of person that makes CS so wonderful. Before I even met him, I knew that Tiziano was a-friend-hadn't-yet-met... but now I know him and am happy to shorten that to "friend".

Hosted us in Padova!! Thanks so much to Tiziano for giving us a place to stay!! Unfortunately, due to late trains and missed busses, we didn't get to meet up in Venice (completely missed Venice), and didn't get to see much of Padova. But generous Tiziano still opened his apt to us despite our insanely short stay. He's a super active CS'er and best of luck in the future and have a blast in Germany!

Staying Up Late By Fires... ...is quite fun with Tiziano around! I met him in Sabaudia camping on the beach; he is a smart, witty, and kind person. Wish I had more time to get to know him! Hey Tiziano, Paris is not far--come visit me in Amsterdam! :)

Great Host!! Tiziano hosted me and my friend during our stay in Padova. We had such a great time together. He was such a fun and generous host. We had some very interesting conversations even thought he was very busy with work. I would like to see him again in the future, either in Sweden or in Canada.

The CS King of Italy. Where is his throne? Couldn't have asked for a better first-time CS host! An awesome guy, living in an awesome flat that is located in an awesome city of an awesome country!

 

Tiziano has been very flexible and accomodating in hosting me.He really believes in CS and has spent a lto of time sharing his life with me, a great time!

Tiziano! Tiziano! Sara and I(Brendan) had such a wonderful night in Padova! Exhausted after floating (yes,literally) through Venice, we loved spending the night talking economic theory, travel, and otherwise. After drinking cheap lemoncello we all went out and bought a few drinks and Tiziano guided us around the city of Padova while munching on falafel and kabob. Thank you for the time Tiziano, you are a kind man. Keep up with the tide, entiendes¿

 

such a genuinely nice guy. Tiziano graciously hosted Troy and I for three nights before we went on to Florence. He took us to dinner, introduced us to his friends, gave us a tour of Padova, and helped us each night with train schedules and other things about travel. He is a very sweet and intelligent guy...One of the few who learned Esperanto! Keep in touch :)

He safed our life! Tiziano hosted us for 2 nights and he woke up at 5 am on our last morning in Italy to help us getting a taxi. Thanks for everything - your quick answer the comfortable matress and your support.

thanks to Tiziano and his family! I stayed in Tiziano's apartment in Padova for several days this October. And... I really don't have words to describe him and his family and his place... because only thing I can say -- it was THE BEST PLACE I'VE EVER STAYED AT, THE BEST PEOPLE, THE GREATES FAMILY IN THE WORLD I MET! And no more words, only emotions!!!

He hosted us for 3 nights in Padova. He is a very nice person, friendly and talkative. Thanks to him, we tasted the best pizza in Padova. He gave us good advices to visit Padova and brought us to a fantastic place for dinner in the hills. He is a very good turistic guide. See you soon in Barcelona and good luck in Paris.

Mille grazie. This is a late reference for my stay in June. Tiziano was the first person I surfed with, and it was unbelievable to meet someone so sharing. He met me at the train station, introduced me to friends and helped me practice Italian. His interest in meeting people is unmatched among those I have met. Tiziano, you are welcome in Massachuchusetts. Mille grazie, a presto.

A few days in Padova. Since the first moment I arrived at Tiziano's house he offers his hospitality giving me as much information he could get about trains, sightseeing, buses...and everything I could need. He had no problem in letting me stay a couple of days more than I had told him at the begining. Really nice guy, he actually represent the spirit of couchsurfing.

 

Rescued me! Tiziano rescued me when I needed a last minute place to stay for a night in Paris. Thank you again!

 

Finally after a while. Me and Tiziano share the same idea about the happiness to host and show our culture. Really easy going mate. I'm sure we'll organize more funny and cool evenings-days-whaterverelse :D ..indeed after 1year and half he becomed one of the column was always together with me in hosting or sharing amazing events!
