About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy life, people, beer, wine, food, beauty, freedom, travel....to keep finding new perspective and offering mine

ABOUT ME

All about me....

Well, I'm a dreamer. A musician. An artist. A brewer and a traveler. I love what I do. It's satisfying to sit at the bar at the end of the day and see people happy..talking, laughing and enjoying what I crafted. I love helping others realize their dreams. Seeing plans take shape and visions fulfilled

I am a foodie and I love to cook and match food to beer, wine and sakes.

My wife and I live in a SW suburb of Portland. A block to the MAX Light Rail Sunset Station...A 15 minute ride into downtown. There's also a few restaurants and bar across thew street for a quick bite or sip.

This July I have decided to take a vacation to Europe and visit many places I have been wanting to see for years. All the breweries, people, the food, the wine, the mountains, the cultures, the music of Europe.

PHILOSOPHY

Well, to borrow a quotation from the late Edward Abbey:

"Brew your own beer; kick in your Tee Vee; kill your own beef; build your own cabin and piss off the front porch whenever you bloody well feel like it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We would like to host couch surfers and help them explore Portland and Oregon. We love to show visitors all that this area has to offer from the breath taking Columbia Gorge, to the rugged and beautiful coast and the High deserts of Eastern Oregon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed through Europe and met some amazing people I will consider friends for life. We have also hosted some great travelers and have yet to have a bad experience. In fact, we have made some good friends through this network.
