Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel and surf quite a bit and encourage my friends to do the same. I'll have my own apartment in a convenient location soon and hopefully will be able to host a lot more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed a few times on my way across the country by train. All went very well. I have lent out my couch on numerous occasions but in a less formal setting and in a different city.

Interests

I enjoy music and too much time on the internet. And dance parties. I like wandering around in new places and hoping I find something interesting. Mountains are nice. I hope to meet a panda one day. I can cook. Everyone likes a friend that can cook, unless they won't cook for them. I tend to ramble when I am asked to describe myself because I don't know what others find interesting about me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't watch many movies. Violent Femmes dance parties are a staple of the Twin Cities for me. You would understand if you came to one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding a train across the country was nice. I saw a wonderful mini-concert with about 5 people in the lounge car of the Empire Builder at 2AM somewhere in the Montana/Idaho/Washington area. I don't think I'll see anything like that again.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know economics. It's not the most exciting thing to share. I like to pretend I know a lot about other things too. I know a bit about cooking. I can tell you the best places for vegan/vegetarian food in Minneapolis area.
