We live at ten minutes from the railway station near the center of Nimes (10 minutes by car or bus). We've got two kids who like new faces, but spare room for hosts and a couch in the living room. We don't have any pets. We're smokers, but we don't smoke in the house. If there are couch surfers on the week end, we take them for a trip in the city ; arenas, square house, La fontaine gardens, etc. Nimes is the city of Romans. There's a bus stop just in front of our house, but if we can, we pick up guests at the station by car. Most of the time, we're free the week ends, on wednesdays even the other days if we know very early.
We've got sheets and blankets and we can host the same person during two days max.
Most important : we host people who actually read our profile and who really want to discover the area. That's why we don't host people anymore just for one night, unless emergency request of course.

We're a couple of two people who live together for 12 years. We've got two kids (they're 5 and 2l) and live with my sister (we share the same house we've bought together), who's got two kids too. I've been living in Nîmes for ten years now et I'm just near the school I work in. My husband sells old books and art on the internet.
How I Participate in CS
We travel less since we've got kids and we thought that CS would be the way for us to meet foreign people, as we stay home ! We hope that we could go in other countries, but in one or two years. For the moment, we just want to host couchsurfers, in order to learn a little bit of other languages and discover other cultures.
CouchSurfing Experience
We hosted several couchsurfers, as my sister (who's already in the CS2 community) couldn't host some. It was a great experience, which made us want to go on. Now, we've got more cs experiences and it's still great !

This summary is not a replacement for reading references; it's a quick summary to help you get started. At a glance, you can see how many references a member has, and how many of them are positive, neutral, and negative.
In the second line, you'll see how many references came from people who hosted this member, surfed with them, and traveled with them. These numbers won't always add up to the total: some references are not categorized, and some may be categorized as more than one thing.
When viewing this summary, don't jump to conclusions! Things that are negative for one person may be positive for another, and vice versa. It's important to read references carefully and evaluate what that information means to you.
Virginie and Ludovic have wonderful family in a wonderful home. They welcomed us like good friends and we had a wonderful time in Nimes. It was a pity that we couldn't stay longer.
I had an amazing time in Nimes. Virginie, Ludovic, and their children are amazing people. Virginie gave me a tour of the whole city and I had great conversations with Ludovic about life, philosophy, and Macintosh. I will always remember your family. Sorry it took me so long to write this.
Virginie and Ludovic are wonderful people. They make you feel like beeing at home. They are open-mindedge and generous. I stayed first for a week-end and a few days later I spent Christmas with her family. I spent very great time and had a so nice meeting. Thank you very very much for everything you made for me.
Virginie, her husband Ludovico & their kids shared their lunch with me & later invited me for a nice dinner in their home. They are a great family making me feel at home & teaching me about their culture and lives. Hope we meet again!
When i'm in Nimes for 3 days ( green summer day's ) I surfed at Virginie home.
Virginie and his familly are very nice and cordial.
i have chance to met them, because they are so generous in a noble way.
A great experience in Nimes.
Virginie and Ludo not only gave us to sleep on a comfortable bed but also prepared for us a dinner with a specialty from Nimes (it's always nice to discover new culinary horizons ;) ) and (the best part of it) spent a couple of hours talking with us. Uh and we must mention the very nice little princess Anna and the big boy Benjamin (two years old!). Nice family, nice people we left with the feeling of wanting to see them again!
We enjoyed Virginie and Ludovics home and family. They are very nice and caring, curious and open minded. They made us feel very welcome even though they had a "full house".
All in all- wonderful hosts, wonderful people :)
