About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Making friends.. "who does not understand a look, neither will understand a long explanation" ;-)

ABOUT ME

Want to know about me? So.. let's go!

I try to be happy today, but planning for tomorrow. I believe in sincerity and trust, love my family and friends. I am a very faithful in my relationships of friendship and love. I like adventures, since it does not involve more than 10 meters in height (without touching floor) :) Nature, forest, river and mountain.. this is myself. I don't smoke and I enjoy to hang out for dancing and to drink pints! I love camping, hiking, trekking and travel. I am playful and witty .. I love parties, to have fun and 'jumping' (sometimes as a child). I love dancing together. I am 'forrozeiro' (I love a kind of music called 'Forró pé-de-serra', a brazilian music).. but I also like other kinds of music. I am romantic (for girls hehe!) and friendly. I like to help others whenever I can, for free. I feel strongly the feeling of others, sometimes I suffer for it .. I am a true friend of the difficult times, because there are so many for the 'good times'. I know that 'learning to live' is a continuous learning, and 'get to there' is an art. Happiness is the only thing when divided is multiplied, so split it with me if you want to be more happy! Hehe.. ;-)
Carpe diem!

Recently I've made a test about my personality that said I'm an ENFP person: "ENFP's are introspective, values-oriented, inspiring, social and extremely expressive. They actively send their thoughts and ideas out into the world as a way to bring attention to what they feel to be important, which often has to do with ethics and current events. ENFPs are natural advocates, attracting people to themselves and their cause with excellent people skills, warmth, energy and positivity. ENFPs are described as creative, resourceful, assertive, spontaneous, life-loving, charismatic, passionate and experimental." To have a look: http://www.mypersonality.info/vrravalos/

PHILOSOPHY

Do not do something unto others what you don't want for yourself. Be kind, honest and respectful of the differences of others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a fan of the ideology long ago. I started to participate actively in Dublin CS group (Ireland), where I've gotten to know people and went to great flashmobs, like pillow fight!

This video (link below) is about the street pillow fight organized by CouchSurfing Dublin in July/2012, I'm the great leader Viking of the Red team hehe.. enjoy it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkm_qkXqh8I

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Ireland I hosted guys from U.S, Germany, Belgium and Japan and a girl from Austria. In Brazil I've hosted guys from Germany and Brazil and a girl from England. I have hung out with a girl from India. I surfed with a english family in England.

Great book: The Little Prince.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some cool things in Brazil: I walked on mud quicksand in a trekking competition, I did canoing in a river, I drove a karting car. In other countries: I went by rowing on the Paraguay river in Paraguay, I went to Niagara Falls in Canada, admired the cliffs of Ireland and I surfed by catamaran in France.

.. and I've ever had some interesting "jobs": as "McSlave" in McDonald's, as seller of bread with sausage on the beach and as DJ for kids parties.

..and as a volunteer: I sang to a children school and I taught entrepeneurship to teens in Brazil, I acted in a theater play in Ireland.

..and the best: I've had a lot of friends in all these amazing things!

And is the end? No, I'm alive and still looking for new discoveries in life!

Would like to get to know my new dream? During 100 days I will be making a trip around Europe to discover about hospitality, willingness and friendship, to prove how amazing CouchSurfing lifestyle is! And the result will be a book. Have a look:
