Dennis Crow

Our friend Bill Linehan told me about the wonderful show Dennis was holding at the Crow bar in Edinburgh, Scotland. My friends and I bought tickets and not knowing what to expect we immediate experienced a delightful moment as soon as Dennis began to play his piano. The room was revived with smiles, cheer and melodic voices coming from every angle, I too joined in... the show was wonderful and we all loved singing along and dancing in our chairs. Great job Dennis your show is so inspiring and I loved it! So nice to have met you and experience what a great pianist you are.

Dennis and I met a few years ago in Buenos Aires. We both have strong connections to Maine, and try to connect at least once a year when we are both in the same area. We each have a strong passion for traveling and meeting awesome people!!

We met just for a few minutes but I could tell that he was a quiet person and after looking at his profile I found out that he is a talented musician.

 

An incredible person and an amazing couchsurfer we should all be lucky enough to have the opportunity to host. Dennis has done so many things in his life and knows so many people, we'd enjoy listening to the stories he has to share for days! Thanks for the experience, let us know when you find yourself in our neck of the woods next time!

Dennis mailed me and asked if he could show me around San Diego and I agreed.

It was a pleasure to host such a courteous, well-travelled and talented paianist as Dennis is. "We tired the sun by talking and sent him down the sky". I look forward to his return to Edinburgh when he'll perform in the Fringe........and return he did and i was delighted to help clelbrate the last night of the Fringe in his Crow Bar in George Square Gardens. Dennis was my first return CS guest!

 

Dennis' open invitation to couchsurfers to enjoy Beauty and the Beast at the Arundel Barn Playhouse caught my attention. We had a great time at the theater and getting acquainted, and I hope to catch one of his piano gigs soon!

Dennis is that kind of person that makes you feel very comfortable once you meet him. He’s a person full stories and with an interesting life. We share a mutual passion for music, which is that sort of universal language that connects humanity in the best possible ways. I look forward to meeting him in the near future and experience his music more directly.

 

Dennis seems to be a very nice and pleasant individual, a good conversationalist. He is willing to share his vast knowledge of travel from his many experiences.

Dennis is a cool dude. He has done things I dream of doing.

I stayed in Dennis and his roommate Thom's place for one night.
He is a great host, he took tim to show me around and to drive me to the station and we had very nice chats.
I feel lucky and proud to know him and i look forward meeting him again.

 

Dennis hosted me and two friends for four nights in March 2008. He helped us a lot, gave us tips where to go and accompanied us several times. He is a really interesting person with a lot of travel experiences. I got good tips about traveling from him and heard some amazing stories. Dennis is a great host.

I only got to spend a little time with Dennis but he struck me as a fascinating personl Not to mention that he gave me a HUGE lead on finding a travelable source of income. Hopefully we'll get together again soon, maybe even hit up Argentina together :D

 

I have attended several CS events with Dennis. He is a super guy with a great attitude and very enthusiastic about couch surfing. He gets a big kick out of playing tour guide to his surfers, and always brings great food to our potlucks. I know that I will see Dennis at many more events, which will certainly be my good fortune.

 

Who likes to go to Florida? Guy's you truely have to go there and if you are around some time you should stay with Dennis! This week I did my first couch surfing trip so I have not so much experience, but I would say that Dennis is one of the best hosts you can imagine. I was at his place with two friends and he accompanied us to every attraction and toke some time of to show us arround. It was a great pleasur for me and I will come back for shure.

Dennis is one interesting guy and ULTRA seasoned traveler!!! Very easygoing and relaxed, great to converse with and has had many adventures over his life (to date, many more to come I'm sure!!). You never know where in the world you might run into this guy, so take the time to meet him if you get the opportunity!!!

 

I have known Dennis for several years and he was a guest in my home for several weeks during his transition from Maine to Florida. We also met up in Buenos Aires last year and he helped me get acquainted with the city. Dennis is a wonderful person with some amazing life experiences to share. I hope you get a chance to meet him someday.

 

Dennis showed up at the Ft Lauderdale pot luck with generous amounts of wonderful fruits and tea. I especially am grateful for the chocolate covered strawberries. He shared stories of his travels in South America. I'll be seeing him again soon.

 

We met at a Ft.Lauderdale C.S. brunch. There we had a very interesting conversation about travel, politics, and the ways of the world. I will look forward to talking with him again.

I met Dennis recently at the Fort Lauderdale CS picnic. He's a great guy thats a lot of fun to talk to. And I'm so jealous of his infamous "bus ride"... Definitely meet up with him if you get the chance :)

Should be one of Reader's Digest's most interesting people. He has met (and charmed) the great and the not-so-great, and I'm glad indeed to have met him.

 

Dennis is a very pleasant person and has a great deal of experience traveling. Ask him about Argentina before you go.

 

I feel like I have known Dennis for many years! What a great life he has and his stories are awesome. Definitely meet him and get to know him - you'll be glad you did.

Although our meeting was brief, Dennis was a fabulous person to talk to, since he has such a wealth of great life experiences, and is willing to share his knowledge with those around him! He also gave me one of his cd's, which was really sweet- I can't wait to listen to it!

Dennis has stayed with me for long periods of time. He is very intelligent, soft spoken, and has many world travel stories to share. He is a gifted piano player and a good-hearted, caring person.
