I'm a student studying in Madrid, Spain for the semester and would love to explore and travel while I'm here, hoping couch surfing can help me with that.
How I Participate in CS
For right now I am looking to sleep on my first couch!
Couchsurfing Experience
I have not had the pleasure to participate in couch surfing yet but I really want to! I have heard so many great stories and think I can add positive travel-love to this already beautiful community
Interests
I'm interested in philosophy, art, hiking, nature, mountains, history, travel, and culture. I spend my time learning new things as frequent as possible and I also mostly write and read in my leisure.
Philosophy
I want to feel completely uninhibited, live authentically, and find enough peace so that I can embrace the end.
Music, Movies, Books
Movies: I love a good thought provoking movie, what ever that might entail. One of my favorites is The Waking Life
Music: anything that has the power to make me groove I can respect.
Books: My favorite for now is Steppen Wolf by Herman Hesse...but I have so many I still want to read!
Types of People I enjoy
People who are themselves. The chance for greatness, for progress and for change dies the moment we try to be like someone else.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Never know. We teach the people around us everyday whether we/them are conscious of it or not.
Learn: throw me something crazy/ anything
Share: Dances and songs
One Amazing Thing I've Seen or Done
My recent trip to the Algarve region of south Portugal has left me awestruck at the beauty of the landscape, beaches, and people. Many of the beaches hold sea caves and beautiful rock-landscape caused by the erosion of the sea. The people reflected the beauty of their surroundings as they were relentlessly hospitable and friendly.
Another adventure in my life that has amazed me to the point of endless appreciation of my moments was when I worked on an organic farm in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the U.S.A. The farm was located on a Native American reservation where they taught us of the spirit of the land and the nature around us and our impact in this world. Overall a it was a spiritually awakening trip that has generated the ambition and understanding of the world I hold today.
Opinion on the Couchsurfing.org Project
What a great idea for a community of travelers. People coming together for the freedom to explore this world of ours! I'm all for it.

This summary is not a replacement for reading references; it's a quick summary to help you get started. At a glance, you can see how many references a member has, and how many of them are positive, neutral, and negative.
In the second line, you'll see how many references came from people who hosted this member, surfed with them, and traveled with them. These numbers won't always add up to the total: some references are not categorized, and some may be categorized as more than one thing.
When viewing this summary, don't jump to conclusions! Things that are negative for one person may be positive for another, and vice versa. It's important to read references carefully and evaluate what that information means to you.
What a nice time we spent together! Lisa and his friend are all made of good vibrations. Me and all my flatmates liked his simple ways.
Great friendly persons to stay with and enjoy a good conversation.
See you around the world!
