PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life is all about dreaming, discovering, and exploring…
People say I take risks a lot. I just think about what happens if I don't give things a try?

"€œ20 years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn'€™t do than the things you did.
So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover" Mark Twain

The true strength of an iceberg is that everyone can’t see its submerged area!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All positive experiences so far! This helped me travel around the world~

Interests

My hobbies and interests are various. But what I spend most of my time on is to learn new things.
I'€™m especially fond of traveling, good books, tasty food and interesting conversations. I sometimes become a budget backpacker, make my own itineraries, look for travel partner and host on Couchsurfing and hit the road with an empty wallet.
I'€™ve learned guitar yet I am not good at it. I can speak some languages, take translator as a part-time job and want to learn more. Computer, science and social subjects are my huge interests. I love to join voluntary activities. I can’t count how many voluntary activities I'™ve joined during my college with local people or international friends. And I love animals. I still dream of a crazy trip to Africa, chasing the lions (or being chased) and sleep on a branch and falling off when I get up. ;D

Music, Movies, and Books

For movies, look for the top 20 on IMDB, I love them all. I also watch a lot East Asian dramas and Bollywood movies (fond of 3 idiots). Anime, yay! Pixar's movies are wonderful. (basically movies that make me think, surprised, laugh, cry, admire, inspired...). I learn languages so mostly I watch English and Japanese movies to improve my languages. As for entertainment only when I have nothing else to do will I watch movie for fun. It rarely happens though. When I want to relax, I will watch detective movies. :P

Music? I don't have a typical genre, I just love the songs. (If you enjoy classical, like Tristesse by Chopin, let me know :). I'm selective in listening so nice melody with poetic, profound and touching lyrics are much preferred. And I listen to music in all languages, Vietnamese, English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Indian, French, Russian, Spanish... :P

Favorite books? So many! Sci-fi, Science (about astronomy), romance, detective, history, novels, etc... Manga!
