I'm a somewhat quiet person who likes helping others & hearing about the lives of others. I occupy my time by spending time with my son and keeping busy with a multitude of interests & projects.

I couchsurf and love it. I haven't hosted in NY but hopefully will once I return.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All of the couchsurfing hosts I've had have been great and have gone above and beyond to assist me in my journey. Through my couchsurfing travels I have been offered employment, permanent places to stay, and potential media covered (which I'm still debating if I want to do).

-Walked from NY to CA by foot (2012-2013)
-With a hardshell backpack ran 20mi home after the NYC hurricane of 2011 when all subway lines were suspended (2011).
-Frequently run NYRR races (2008-current)
-Did an experiment where I went homeless in NYC for 9-months (2011-2012).
-Partners in a great NY hospitality business (2011-current)
-Been working as a senior concierge for Cipriani Wall Street for about 7-years (2005-current, now taking a leave of absence)
-Previously worked in realty finance, media tech, corp tech sales, finance, insurance, bike messaging, porter work, and some engineering.
