I am living not too far from the centre of Galway, walking distance about 20 mins max. We have plenty of space, a nice living room, a kitchen. Usually I have time on the weekends to show people around in Galway a bit - my friends say I'm a good tourist guide. :-)

This summary is not a replacement for reading references; it's a quick summary to help you get started. At a glance, you can see how many references a member has, and how many of them are positive, neutral, and negative.
In the second line, you'll see how many references came from people who hosted this member, surfed with them, and traveled with them. These numbers won't always add up to the total: some references are not categorized, and some may be categorized as more than one thing.
When viewing this summary, don't jump to conclusions! Things that are negative for one person may be positive for another, and vice versa. It's important to read references carefully and evaluate what that information means to you.

Matthias was a fantastic host, we didn't see each other for long but he gave me his own room to sleep in and introduced me to his flatmates. They were very friendly, gave me advice and directions and made me feel very welcome. I would definately surf with him again.
Matthias also came to surf with me, he brought me for a lovely dinner and actually explained diagrams in the local Geopark to me, I had never stopped to look at them before! I had a great time exploring the Copper Coast with him.
Even though he is from Germany, he knows very well about Galway as if he was local Irish, perhaps, more than locals do. He took me to Clifs of Mohar, small village on the way and especialy pubs so that I could listen to real Irish music there. Thank you very much! Enjoy your work and life in Galway!
magic came to visit cork so i took him around. he's a really nice friendly smiley guy. when i go to galway i will definitely meet up with him. thumbs up :)

After long trip by car my friends and me could sleep in a nice place, but after some beers around Galway and with Maggic!!He and his flatmate are nice, good people. And thanks for the strong breakfeast...we had enough energy for all the day!!

Even though I was unable to host Matthias, I was happy that we were able to meet for a drink. He is a really sociable person and I would love to host him again the next time he is in Belfast!
