Between 2008 and 2009, I hosted 100 CS at my place in Thailand. Crazy times...

Opinion on the CouchSurfing.org Project
Yes, the site is useful,I am wholeheartedly supporting persons who had such a wonderful idea to bring people together. Now it depends on the persons we encounter and what they can bring to the table as human being.
This summary is not a replacement for reading references; it's a quick summary to help you get started. At a glance, you can see how many references a member has, and how many of them are positive, neutral, and negative.
In the second line, you'll see how many references came from people who hosted this member, surfed with them, and traveled with them. These numbers won't always add up to the total: some references are not categorized, and some may be categorized as more than one thing.
When viewing this summary, don't jump to conclusions! Things that are negative for one person may be positive for another, and vice versa. It's important to read references carefully and evaluate what that information means to you.
Charly and his sweet wife came into my life during the current school year here in Kuwait. Charly is a warm and kind man with an ever present positive attitude towards life. Sadly he leaves Kuwait, yet I was fortunate enough to call him my friend.
Charly is a brilliantly funny host and you will not have a dull night in Bangkok with him. Went to a few of his dj sets (which were awesome), took us out with his friends and he showed us some really cool places in Bangkok! Really nice guy, i'll give you a shout next time i'm in Bangkok! xxxxx
Charly T has a HECTIC schedule and still he opened up his home to me and made a point to have a couple of meals with me. I learned about his country and his passion for the business of being a DJ. I was sick and he introduced me to other couch surfers and the owner of a wonderful restaurant, who was able to take me to a pharmacy and translate for me to get me medicine. Thank you for your hospitality and for teaching me about Cameroon.
No one can say Charly T is bad at all!! I can't still believe that he such a popular DJ has hosted me! It was my first CS and he made it even more special with his kindness and bright smile. He is definitely a someone u wanna meet sometime in ur life! He's an expert of hosting ppl and making ppl enjoy their life. As soon as u see his gorgeous smile, u will feel u r lucky:)))
Charly is extremely interesting person. He knows everything about night life of Bangkok. He invited me to a perfect party. Shame that we were late)). And he was so kind that let my friends to stay at his place with me for one night when it was too late to look for a room or something. Hope to see you again!
He's one of those who you feel happy to have meet. You can tell he knows how to live and enjoy life!! I spent a great time chatting with him and he even tried to show me how to be a DJ!! :P I'll see you again some day, I can feel it!!
Charly was my 1st experience as a surfeur. I was not desappointed ! He is just an adorable person. He took care of me, introduced me to his friends and showed me the incredible Bangkok's nightlife. As a fucking DJ (F..k Charly :)), he knows a lot of good places and he is very popular (even though he will say he is not). Charly, I really thank you for everything, I was glad to meet you. I wish you the best in Koweit, and if you need a dancer to co-animate a party, I will be there !!!
