Shared Room: DependsWell if there are two of you then there is one double bed downstairs and a single. You could share or be apart. There is however only 1 room downstairs.
Mainly we will only have 1 set of Couch-surfers at a time so hopefully the place will be all yours. We have a few couches and the choice is yours, Both of them fold out like beds. You may like the seclusion of downstairs, nestled in your own little space. TV, Internet Access, Laundry, Room to move, Toilet. We share the laundry so there will be times we'll have to knock and come on through.
We live just outside Brisbane as you head towards the luxury Gold Coast.
No pets, other than the native animals that we harbor in Australia.
We don't smoke, but don't mind smokers, there is a big back landing and plenty of space in the clean air for that.
Public transportation is almost right outside the door. 2 Railway stations situated very close within 20 mins walking distance.
We both have time to show you around and we both work :)
David is night owl but can also be an early to bed, early to rise kind of person.
We have plenty of Blankest, pillows, linen etc.

Personal DescriptionWe are in the process of creating an amazing healing center at our home. You can see a few of the pictures on our profile. We traveled the world together for a year and now we are living in Brisbane Australia. (David's homeland, Joanna's new home land.) I've been into spirituality for about 15 years now and have many friends around the globe, I've finally departed on the long awaited "World Tour" something i manifested a long time ago. Communications Technician by Trade. Computer Techo now into Virus Busting, computer repairs, upgrades, installations, back up and re installation of software and data.
I have a 12yo daughter who i love to share my time with. A bunch of friends to come over and have BBQs and get togethers.

May 8, 2008 Positive We felt very lucky that David and Joanna were the first couchsurfing guests in our new home. Meeting with them felt like we knew them already a long time. Nice conversations and a good laugh is the remembering of our meeting.
We hope that they will finish their beautifull trip in the same relaxing way they have taken on along the way, and find a way the settle down together on the Australian east coast.

Apr 8, 2008 david and joanna came to aberdeen and intended to stay two nights, but realised their flight left very early from glasgow and thus rearranged. despite their late arrival on the evening of the 6th, we had most of the following day together which we spent in aberdeen museums and at the flat. they are genuine and very friendly and loving people. didn't get to sample their cooking which has been praised by other hosts and they did not bring anything, which is not how i operate (see couch description etc), but i was lucky and got a massage from joanna which left me half asleep on the futon in the middle of the day. i hope their travels continue to amaze and uplift them. they seem to make a great couple.

They were a joy to have, very friendly, positive and easy to talk to. Also they are great at handy work! My house is a better place! Lets just say my kitchen is a more organised place and I can see clearer!
